Fantastic experience: Dr Theo Chan was tasked with re-doing an 8-year old root canal that had failed. He was so good at explaining the process before treatment commenced so I could make an informed decision about my options. The procedures themselves were skilfully and painlessly executed. Also shout out to the front desk staff who were able to find me a very last minute appointment and contacted me to make sure I knew they were on the case to find an opening. Very thankful to Dr Theo and the team at Malvern Endo.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ilya was very professional in his assessment of my tooth condition. I was referred to him by my dentist who suspected infection of my tooth post the emplacement of a temporary crown. Given that I was going to make an overseas trip soon after treatment, I sought Dr. Ilya's advise as to how best to move forward. He confidently acknowledged, despite my upcoming overseas trip that the first stage root canal treatment would hold well for the period of more than one month before my return trip and the second stage treatment. I am pleased to say that both the first and second stage root canal treatments have held well and I am hoping to get my crown emplaced by my dentist soon.

Negative experience: Disgustingly expensive - charged $2,800 for a partial and not particularly complex root canal that had been started by another dentist. Two visits of around 40 minutes each, which equates to appox. $1,866 per hour. Not bad money for a needle, a few jabs with the excavator and a smallish filling. Staff are all very pleasant and smiley as they charge you and arm and a leg. Listening to a discussion on radio on the way home about the gaping wealth divide in Australia, I now understand why.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Ilya recently to redress and finish a traumatic root canal at my usual dentist and he was fantastic. He managed to extract a snapped file and finish the initial root canal in what seemed like no time at all. All basically painfree. Amazing work and i'm very thankful for his professionalism, obvious skill and compassion as i was very skittish about the procedure. All in all, very well run clinic with great staff (nurses and admin staff) too. Very pleased with the experience!

Fantastic experience: I usually hate having dental procedures, but this was such a good experience for a root canal. Truly pain-free and fairly comfortable. Dr Ilya explained everything thoroughly and checked to make sure I was ok during. They are heavily booked, but I will say this was worth the wait!

Fantastic experience: I brought my elderly Mum in for a root canal. My mum was quite nervous, but Dr Daniel was amazing! So kind and gentle, putting my mum at ease. Not to mention so far so good on the result of her root canal. Would definitely recommend this practice.

Daniel continued to check in with me to make sure that I was comfortable and relaxed. I’ve always felt a bit nervous going to the dentist but felt completely relaxed and calm. The dental nurse was lovely too and so were the girls on the desk. 5 star service and they just seem like a great, friendly and caring team!

Fantastic experience: Well, what a fantastic experience. I had a very unpleasant experience over a decade ago that (I''m sad to say) prevented me psychologically from going to the dentist since... Following a root canal referral I got in touch with Malvern Endodontics. Rebecca was extremely helpful and reassuring on the phone but furthermore managed to get me an appointment that very afternoon, out of hours. Dr. Mark Weis was exemplary, explaining everything, reassuring me and being efficient with time. I felt no pain during the procedure, at all. I have also had no pain afterwards (other than the expected dull jaw ache from having your gob oven for an extended period...) with hot coffee and fridge cold water no problem at all even the day afterwards. I'm astonished how much better I feel in myself and I would recommend Malvern Endodontics to anyone. Thanks, Oliver.

Fantastic experience: Recently Professor Yoland Lim required the services of Specialist Endodontist Dr Daniel Bierenkrant Malvern Endodontics @malvernberwickendo. He says "Dr Bierenkrant kindly fitted me in for an emergency treatment amid his busy schedule. The entire team's friendly and professional approach with a calm manner made the treatment very relaxing. Between his gentle precise skill I nearly fell asleep and this was like I was using my Fong Yang relaxation meditation! I was so relaxed that he almost needed to wake me up several times. His clear and detailed explanation of each step of the procedure was very welcome. He discussed in detailed the various options and expected outcome. This information is very useful especially in an emergency for me to make a best decision for the best treatments of my choice".

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience going in for a not so exciting procedure. Thanks to doctor Theo and the team for making a daunting visit much less daunting.

Positive experience: Not overly friendly, came across as sterile and cold (both from reception and the nurse that showed me to the consult room). This made me feel a little anxious. By the end of the appt i walked away feeling deflated. Explanation from Theo Chan was ok/good , however, im not sure id recommend this place nor go back for treatment.

Fantastic experience: Dr Francis Chan was empathic, friendly and professional and responded to urgent queries quickly. He took plenty of time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. The team are also lovely and the clinic itself is a clean and professional space. Highly recommend as a endodontist and team to minimise discomfort and put your mind at ease with more advanced dental work.

Fantastic experience: Dr Mark Weis managed to recover my tooth from the brink of death and saved me thousands of dollars on a replacement. He performed an emergency root canal on me while he himself had a broken shoulder - an absolutely incredible feat. Dr Mark genuinely went above and beyond, and he is entirely responsible for me being able to smile right now. I'm struggling to put into words just how grateful I am. The nurses are all so lovely as well, it's just such a great team!

Fantastic experience: Firstly, when a business has all 5 star reviews I wonder if some are fake; for these guys, they aren't. Dr Mark Weis was excellent. He knew exactly which tooth was causing issues even after a regular dentist said it was a different tooth. He fit me in for a root canal on the day of my consultation. He took his time even though he was running late for the next patient. He spent a good 20 minutes making sure I was completely numb. I felt no pain and even when I felt the tiniest pressure he gave me more anaesthetic. Very happy and he has totally alleviated my anxiety around dental surgery. Worth the money!

Fantastic experience: Anyone requiring endodontic therapy should seriously consider visiting Malvern Endodontics. Dr Ilya Belobrov is very friendly and exceptionally skilled in his specialist field. His nurse Tessa is likewise super friendly and professional. The assistance from receptionists Stephanie and Molly is also commendable. The clinic is modern, clean and homely. My recommendation is 100% without any hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Visited here after a fractured tooth & receiving several opinions (general dentists and specialists). Mark was friendly, supportive and very professional. With a hint of confidence in his skills. Justified since it is now over a year since the tooth was saved - other dentists suggested extraction as a re-attachment wouldn't last for more than a few months due to the forces involved. High-end dental is expensive though. Very pleased about the outcome.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful! Wish I could give them 6 stars! After a horrendous experience commencing a root canal with DSpa I sourced a specialist on my own. I had excruciating pain - not experienced since childbirth - during the D-Spa procedure (was very ill afterwards too) and was very reluctant to ever be in a dentist chair again. Malvern Endodontics and Dr Theo have reinstated my faith in the dental profession. They understood my high anxiety levels and were so nice, professional, HONEST and GENTLE. I could not recommend them highly enough. I had NO PAIN during the entire procedure. Only negative is that they are specialists and can't be my ongoing dentists!! Thank you SO MUCH. I am finally pain free after many weeks.
