Fantastic experience: DentalCare For All – Balwyn I don’t usually write reviews for a medical service, but after this experience, I just had to. I’d been in absolute agony for over a week (you know the kind where even breathing seems to hurt). Out of pure desperation, I called DentalCare For All on a Saturday morning, hoping for a miracle… and I got one! They squeezed me in for an emergency appointment that very day, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I was treated by Dr. Lynh Phan who from the very first moment, made me feel calm. I told him I’m petrified of dentistry (thanks to some traumatic childhood visits), and he took that completely in his stride. He explained everything what I’d feel, what I’d hear, what was happening next — and true to his word, I barely felt a thing (except the tiniest pinch of the needle). Now, for most people, getting a tooth extracted and a filling might be no big deal. For me? Monumental. But Dr. Phan's calm, caring manner made it all feel surprisingly manageable almost relaxing, if that’s even possible at a dentist! He was transparent about the costs every step of the way, and I genuinely appreciated the honesty and care shown throughout. Having not been to the dentist for… let’s just say, a very long time, I now find myself asking, “Why on earth didn’t I do this sooner?” A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at DentalCare For All. You didn’t just fix my tooth you fixed my fear of dentistry for now.

Fantastic experience: I recently had two porcelain veneers replaced by Dr. Yin, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! My previous ones were 25 years old and definitely needed to be revamped. From start to finish, she kept me informed of every step in the process, and her attention to detail really shows in the final outcome. I’m absolutely thrilled with how natural and flawless my smile looks. There were no surprises when it came to out-of-pocket costs — everything was explained clearly upfront. I have seen all the Dentists there and they always provide me with the services that I need. They have a very good approach with children. I would highly recommend them. I have continued to attend this business, and have followed them to their new site in Balwyn. The service continues to be great. Parking is much better now compared to their old site in Box Hill

Fantastic experience: Was seen by Dr Yin Tang today who was both professional and friendly. Qualities I value, as I am a medical professional myself. She did a clean, found a filling and showed me photos. She quoted the price and that it was completely optional. I appreciated the transparency, as I didn't get that at a previous dentist in Canterbury. More importantly I'm very happy with her work today and will be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Dr Lynh Phan and his team are friendly, professional and gentle. He makes sure that I feel comfortable, takes the time to thoroughly examine my teeth and explain the issues that I am facing with the options I can take. It is my second visit at Dentalcare, which I have been very pleased about and happy in returning. I think now it's about my 3rd-4th viist to Dr Lynh to have my four wisdom teeth extracted. Dr Lynh and his team were very professional and looked after me well. He also followed up with me to make sure my recovery was going well. Fantastic experience: You can't teach the kind of compassion and empathy that Yin and Lynh both have as dentists. I've had fillings, wisdom tooth extractions and a root canal done by them and have just started treatment for Clear Correct. They're always incredibly helpful and always try and work out the best rate available to me. Teeth don't need to cost as much as most dentists would have you believe. I unequivocally recommend Dentalcare for All.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Yin was amazing with my teeth to clean up! She explained to me the reason for bleeding of my gums and with the proper cleanup the bleeding stopped. Excellent service. :)

Fantastic experience: First time visitor for some Periodontal Debridement treatment with Dr Lynh Phan. During the session, Dr Phan took his time to ensure that I understand the causes and steps to improve my dental health. The invoice came in less than what I was quoted from another dentist for exactly the same treatment. I found Dr Phan and the Dentalcare For All staffs are highly professional. I will be coming back for all my dental needs.

Negative experience: Very pathetic experience, i booked an appointment for my kid and mentioned age(3 yrs) too but after consulting they said we can't treat his cavity for this age group as they don't have facilities to treat and they provided an alternate specialist. For this they have charged 50$ for consultation, I would not recommend this place, felt like cheated. On top of it they gave an dental cream for 35$. Waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: Dr Lynh Pham is a good dentist and is very thorough. My housemate needed 7 extractions and this was done expertly. Dr Pham has a lot of experience and advice on options for the best way forward and was very understanding of my housemate’s financial and health situation.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist! Have found the recommendation on reddit to extract the tooth. The entrance is a bit trashy but do not let it scare you, these people are aces in what they are doing without ripping you off! The doc was able to save it with very accurate fillings, cleaned another tooth instead of placing the veneer. The best thing Is also that doctors are completely transparent and not trying to strip your savings. My case was estimated for $375 including filling, airflow, X-ray and consultation. What dental can be cheaper in Australia?? Highly recommend the service, would love to stick to these folks.

Fantastic experience: Dr Phan saved a tooth that was in a bad state when he could easily have chosen to do a much more epensive procedure. He did a great job and saved me over $1500 that I really couldn't spare but wouldn't have had much choice in. Thank you so much for the great service, I'll be back for my checkups.

Fantastic experience: I've had a checkup and a large complex filling replaced at Dental Care for All, each time I've had an extremely good experience. Dr Eugene Lee and Dr Phan have been excellent. They are both friendly, kind and sensitive to any anxieties or fears. Their dental work has been great. The filling is perfect, fixed the problem. I recommend this clinic to anyone wanting expert dentistry at a reasonable price.

Fantastic experience: Great place, Great prices, great people can't say enough about them. I had an urgent matter that needed attention Dr Phan was really kind and professional about the circumstances and was willing to help and was extremely reasonable. In the same area they were wiling to fix something minor that was ranging from 250 - 400 and yet this place did it perfectly much lesser and was willing to help without any hesitation. Thank you again and i will be back and will recommend to other people and if you are reading give them ago, you have nothing to lose.

Negative experience: one of the worse service in Box Hill, better try other place... just wanted your money

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have always had high levels of anxiety associated with dental work, to the point where we'd often require sedation for the smallest procedures. But Dr Lynh Phan is incredibly gentle, and he and his staff go out of their way to ensure you’re comfortable and well informed. We've even found our anxiety lessens with every visit. To anyone browsing Google looking for a really gentle, friendly dentist - then look no further! Thanks soooo much Dr Lynh Phan and team!

Negative experience: I went to this clinic to see Dr Lynh Phan about wisdom tooth removal as my bottom wisdom tooth was growing diagonally into the front molars. He told me they would cost $800 each to remove. I was a bit skeptical and went to another clinic for a 2nd opinion. The doctor I saw there had 20 yrs experience and was a lecturer at Melbourne Uni. He charged me $319 for each tooth. Don't go to this clinic and avoid this scammer Dr Phan as he will rip you off!

Fantastic experience: *Highly Recommended* I initially chose 'Dentalcare for All' based upon the reviews on here and I must say I was absolutely blown away with how accurate they were. Their professionalism, attention to detail, care for patients immediate and ongoing wellbeing, were second to none! Plus they were super gentle, I honestly didn't experience any pain. While dentistry is expensive regardless of where you attend Dentalcare for All had very reasonable prices and before work was done quoted how much each individual task and procedure would cost to enable patients understanding and peace of mind that you weren't going to be a shocked when you went to pay the bill. Will definitely go back next time I require a visit to a dentist.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist, wonderful service and reasonable price. Highly recommend Doctor Yin. I had a major deep cavity which was close to the nerve. It caused big pain to me that i couldn't sleep for couple of days.It could have been treated by root canal which would cost easily over a thousand dollars. But Doctor Yin fixed my tooth with a filling. Its all good now.
