Fantastic experience: Best dentist in Melbourne! I really love the staff and Dr. Richard Chan very thorough and take the time every time I’m in. Would highly recommend Surrey Hills Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: I removed my four wisdom teeth at this clinic in two separate appointments. As someone who is so anxious about dental procedures that she has pushed off wisdom teeth until the age of 29, I have had such a great experience! From the initial consultation till the final procedure, I felt heard and cared for. The procedure was done so cleanly and my recovery has been swift. I didn’t have to take a single pain killer and there was next to no swelling. Only light soreness was experienced in the first couple of days. No complications. I was able to eat pretty much everything the next day (I stayed with more steamed vegetables and softer food for about a week but it was a diverse solid food diet.) Absolutely amazing! The nurse even offered to play my favourite singer’s songs. That helped!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Richard since around 2016 and have always been impressed by the expertise and skills of him and his team. Recently, he and his assistant went above and beyond to address my emergency case of a broken tooth, even sacrificing their lunchtime to fix it. Their dedication not only resolved my issue but also saved my Christmas holiday and planned trips. I am truly grateful for their outstanding care and professionalism!

Fantastic experience: Such a good dentist. I was told by another dentist I needed to get 4 teeth removed in order to get braces, I came here and it was all done perfectly and without any complications! So happy with my teeth and the staff here are lovely :)

Fantastic experience: I found Dr Richard and Dr Stephanie very professional. Both myself and my daughter see them and we're very happy with how gentle and patient they are. Will definitely be coming back.

Negative experience: Parking here can be difficult at times as it is used for both staff and patients. Sometimes when they are busy the car park is oddly full for such a small practice. I go here for the dental hygienist who is absolutely fantastic. Cleans my teeth without pain and very thorough. I have been to see the dentist here too but IMHO he is a little odd and a lot creep;, gets up too close into my personal space and asks really strange, not dental related, questions. Not the only dentist in the area but will come back again to see the hygentist.

Fantastic experience: Great little dentist, the layout of the building is like a house with what feels like old bedrooms and a main living area. The staff are friendly and gentle with the procedures. There is also a carpark with approx 10 spots (entrance off Mont Albert Rd). Plus each time I go I get a showbag, and I guess the chair goes up and down so it’s kind of like a ride, you might feel like you’ve gone to the Melbourne Show instead of the dentist!

Well, all the boxes are ticked here. Richard Chan certainly knows how to use the gear.(I didn't even fee the needle) and his office staff are great and make you feel right at home. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had not been to the dentist in a number of years. However, i will definitely be coming back to Surrey Hills Dental Centre. I received a filling for a tooth that was beginning to decay and I found Dr Chan to be very thorough, careful and professional and the staff were all very friendly. Fantastic experience: Been a patient for quite a few years. Always excellent service with understanding, accommodating and organised staff. Dr Chan is great, accommodating, uses good amounts of local anaesthetic, does great preventative dentistry, isolated small problems before they become big problems and has always addressed my concerns. Even saw me urgently when I was worried about something. Very happy with the care and would not be interested in changing dentist.

Fantastic experience: 前段时间和老婆一起去洗了牙，我堵了两个牙洞。推荐啊。以前去的牙科诊所，牙医是不会出来洗牙的。都是洗完了才出来和我聊两句。这里的陈医生洗牙没有以前的痛。堵牙的手法也很高级。离我家不算远，医疗保险又报销了很多。就是医生真的好忙，要提前好久预约。陈医生国语讲的没有广东话好，哈哈。不过对ABC 是很不容易了。

Fantastic experience: My husband had to have tooth out which snapped in half during extraction. Richard Chan had the tooth out very quickly and he was amazing. The care there is second to none and the staff who work for him are very friendly and helpful. Debbie was so friendly when I explained my husbands problem and got him in the day I rang as he was in quite abit of pain. I will be going to see him myself as my husband said they put you at ease very quickly. They were just incredible with all their help and concern. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
