Fantastic experience: I have just finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr Greg and it was a very easy and straightforward process. The treatment has given me wonderful relief from my TMJ pain. I would highly recommend Dr Greg and Chelmer Dental for Invisalign treatment!

Fantastic experience: I was the worst type of dental patient as I would normally only go to a dentist when there was a problem, so it’s not surprising that an emergency appointment is how I first came to Chelmer Dental. Having not been to a dentist in many years I was extremely nervous but I was met with the very calm, caring, understanding and completely non judgemental Dr Linh. Since that very first appointment I have also seen Dr Greg and Dr Alfred who are also exceptionally caring dentists. So if you are after a wonderful team of excellent dentists who really do put their patients well being first then I have no hesitation in recommending Chelmer Dental.

Fantastic experience: Chelmer Dental is a welcoming and comfortable space. It is evident they are patient centred from the moment you step through the door. The Admin team are very professional and friendly. The Practice Owners and Dentists, Dr Truong and Dr Waters, are highly experienced, lovely and compassionate people. They take the time to explain the procedures and treatments clearly and in a way that you as the patient can understand the choices. Even after moving away from Brisbane, I remain a Chelmer Dental patient because of the great and personable care they provide. They are well worth the >40 mins travel! They are also local to the Chelmer/Graceville community and give great restaurant recommendations!

Fantastic experience: The best dental practice myself and my whole family have ever been to. I was totally terrified of the dentist all my life however they have turned that around completely. I have even had Invisalign to straighten my teeth and now have no issues visiting for regular check ups. All the dentists genuinely care and I can't recommend Chelmer Dental enough.

Fantastic experience: I am a middle aged woman whose history with dentists has left me with an absolute fear of dentists. Sitting in the chair and hearing the noise of the tools used brings me to tears. I can’t control it. Over the years I have avoided most checkups and put off having necessary work done. A common experience for many people, sadly. My first visit to Chelmer Dental was due to long-term tooth pain and the knowledge that if I did not attend to my dental health at this stage in life, I would suffer for it as I aged. Having left dental work for such a long time, a root canal was required. Dr Truong performed my checkup, and pre-root canal work. I was still fearful of the upcoming root canal experience but her calm, gentle, patient and kind demeanour reassured me enough to proceed under gas and it was a complete success. No more pain and I can now chew on both sides of my mouth again! Subsequent visits have been with Dr Waters. He is equally as calm, gentle, patient and kind. I have now been confident enough to have recently finished both Invisalign and tooth whitening, I’ve had cavities filled and regularly attend for checkups, still with a little residual fear when in the chair. Hopefully it will completely disappear, once my brain no longer associates the dentist with pain and fear. I know that when my family and I go to Chelmer Dental that we are in incredibly capable hands. I’ve even had a cavity filled without pain relief recently and it was not an issue for me at all. My youngest child shared my feelings regarding dental work and had only ever been able to have procedures under gas. This is no longer the case after she started attending Chelmer Dental. We no longer dread the upcoming appointments, no longer make excuses not to care for our teeth and going to the dentist has become just another regular medical appointment for us both. Cost of course can be a factor for many people when attending the dentist too. We have Australian Unity Health Insurance extras cover. As Chelmer Dental is a member of their network (I think it is called Smiles?), the cost is significantly lower than I have incurred at other non-network dental surgeries. I was amazed at the cost of the checkups for both children, it’s the least I’ve ever paid, the service has been undeniably the best we have received, and it’s lovely to interact with all of the staff there. It’s become a pleasant experience. I am not receiving any incentive to post this review.

Fantastic experience: I've had three appointments with Dr Greg Waters, and I have my fourth coming up next week. As a person who was not a great fan of dentists, I find it difficult to say this but I now have a favourite dentist, and he is it. I doubt that I will need any further work after next week but if I do I know where to go who to see.

Fantastic experience: I have seen both Greg and Linh at Chelmer Dental from minor check ups to getting a splint and crown made. They are exceptional dentists, caring and very gentle. Fantastic experience: When you walk in, the reception is warm and welcoming, you can feel the care taken by the owners in creating an inviting environment. Personal favourite is the painted skylight. Reception is very warm and friendly, a reflection of the team relationship where Dr Truong takes time to coach her dental assistants. Patient wise, she explained things carefully to ensure you understand the process while adding a bit of levity.

Dr Waters is an absolute pro, everything was done without pain or issue. For the service and high quality, it is very reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming back for my next check up.
