Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend this highly enough. The staff were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to be accommodating at every step. They genuinely made me feel welcomed and cared for, which made the whole experience that much better. It’s rare to come across a team that’s so attentive, professional, and sincerely invested in making sure you’re looked after.

Negative experience: 5 members of our family have used brace5. 4 out of 5 have needed remedial/further work. Too focused on generating income and lack of courtesy. We were always to blame. Avoid - expensive and the work for us was substandard. Have gone elsewhere and service and work is so much better.

Fantastic experience: We’ve had a wonderful experience with Dr. Mamutil and his team, and I highly recommend them! My 12-year-old daughter had several dental issues, including crowded teeth, a slight protrusion of her lower jaw (causing an underbite), and some adult teeth that hadn’t erupted yet. After consulting with two orthodontists, we were unsure about the best treatment option, as the recommendations varied. Dr. Mamutil took the time to thoroughly explain the different treatments, including the pros and cons of both a Hybrid Hyrax Expander and a conventional expander with a face mask. They were understanding of my daughter’s anxiety, especially when it came to the thought of needles and swelling. What really stood out to us was Dr. Mamutil’s approach: instead of using the Hybrid Hyrax Expander with screws in the upper palate, he opted for a Rapid Maxillary Expander (RME) with a face mask. The RME was the perfect solution for my daughter’s needs. It worked by gently widening her upper jaw, which was too narrow, and allowed more space for her adult teeth to erupt properly. This expansion also helped address her crowded upper teeth and corrected the slight protrusion of her lower jaw, significantly improving her underbite. The use of the face mask helped align her upper and lower jaws, guiding her upper jaw forward and improving the overall alignment of her bite. This treatment has been incredibly effective. Not only did it help with her dental alignment, but it also avoided the need for any invasive procedures like screws in the palate or extractions, which she was very worried about. Dr. Mamutil was empathetic and considerate, providing a clear treatment plan that prioritised both her comfort and the effectiveness of the procedure. The results have been amazing, and my daughter is much more confident with her smile. His team is also friendly and supportive, always making my daughter feel safe and heard. If you're looking for an orthodontist who truly cares about your child's well-being and takes the time to explain things thoroughly, this is the place!

Fantastic experience: We had an appointment with Dr. John Mamutil for my daughter a couple of weeks back, and the appointment was at 9 AM. The first surprise, the receptionist greeted my daughter by her name and within a few minutes we met with the doctor. He diagnosed the problem and send back his recommendations to our referral doctor. Everything works here seamlessly like a well-oiled machine. Negative experience: My daughter was booked for an appointment at 2pm. We where there at 1:45. About 10 minutes later, another lady came in. And she was called in first. I asked the lady in the front desk why she was called in ahead of my daughter when we had a 2pm appointment. It turns out, that lady called in first was also booked at 2pm. Setting aside the oddity booking two separate patients at the same time, out of decency, since were there first and we were both supposedly booked at 2pm, we should've been called in first. All the lady in the front desk said was for us to wait and be patient. We had to leave because we were on a tight schedule. 0 customer service. I won't be paying thousands of dollars to a company with such horrible customer service.

Negative experience: I called the other day and received the worst customer service on the phone. I was asking simple questions regarding finance options and was laughed at by your receptionist. Never have I felt so shocked by how rudely I was spoken too. I was seriously considering coming to you for orthodontics but cannot bring myself to pay someone who doesn't even consider customer service a key aspect of business.

Fantastic experience: My daughter is an aspiring dancer with many auditions. We’ve always supported her because she is truly gifted, but her cross bite has always held her back because it affected her self-confidence. I also knew that if she was to put on braces, we would likely need to put her dancing on hold till they came off and at 13 years, I did not want her to miss any opportunities. I shared my concern with her dentist, and she told me that my daughter could get Invisalign treatment. I had always assumed that Invisalign was only meant for adults, so I was very excited when she told me we could get them for her at Brace5. With Invisalign, she could start treatment immediately without interrupting her potential career, and the cost of treatment at Brace5 was surprisingly affordable. She is currently undergoing treatment, has been to several auditions and her confidence and smile have improved drastically in the last 6 months since her treatment begun.

Fantastic experience: My teeth have never been my best feature, but when I was invited to make an overseas presentation for my college, I got really nervous about how I looked. I only had 12 months to get treatment before the trip, so I started an online search for the best orthodontists in Castle Hill. I soon determined that Invisalign was the best treatment option for me, but many of the clinics offering it were pretty expensive and I did not have a lot of time to save up for it. My overly crowded teeth needed a lot of work, but Dr. Mamutil was able to sort me out even with the necessary extractions. In 10 months, I had beautiful teeth and was ready for my trip. I could tell that it was taking a toll on her self-confidence, so I started looking around for orthodontist services in Castle Hill. Fantastic experience: With our only daughter’s wedding coming up in 6 months, my wife was very concerned about the spaces between my teeth. She did a lot of research on fast orthodontic treatment that would work for me and before I knew it, we were walking into Dr. Mamutil’s office. He recommended Invisalign with Acceledent to get the job done, but I was not too optimistic about the results because of my age (59 years). However, my wife was not going to let me get slack with the treatment, so for 20 minutes each day, she would bring me the Acceledent device. You can imagine my surprise when 2 months later, the gaps in my mouth started closing up! I got just as excited about the treatment and 3 months later, my teeth were in perfect shape - and just in time too. It was the most beautiful wedding, and Dr. Mamutil helped to make it that much more memorable. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: When I turned 45, I realized that my overbite was becoming more pronounced. I’ve never wanted to wear braces as an adult because my work involves meeting a lot of people. I figured I could live with my teeth as they were because wearing braces would certainly draw a lot of attention, and that wasn’t a fair tradeoff. I was very excited when I heard about invisalign treatment and immediately started asking about it. During my search, I was quoted 9000 by a GP, but I didn’t feel too confident about it so I kept looking. Fantastic experience: My 9 year old son is terrified of impressions, and the orthodontist has to take it several times because the little boy can’t stay still with that yucky mould in his mouth. It was quite embarrassing when he bit the doctor during one such visit. I almost cried for joy when Dr. Mamutil said we could start treatment with a simple 3D scan of my son’s teeth. He was very patient with my son and explained to him what he would do, and my son got pretty excited when he saw the preview of the ‘after’ shots. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, the treatment is affordable, and my son’s teeth are much better than they were before. He even reminds me of our next visit to the clinic – definitely not the same anxious boy that hated impressions.

Fantastic experience: I have always been self-conscious about my widely spaced front teeth, but at 23, I’m too old for braces. You can imagine my excitement when I heard about Invisalign. I immediately started saving up for the treatment and started looking around for an orthodontist in Castle Hill Area. During my first consultation, I was quoted for 10,000AUD for Invisalign and found out that I would have to undergo yucky impressions. I’ve had gaps in my teeth since I was young, and had always hated moulds, not to mention the fact that the treatments did not quite give me the smile I wanted. However, he is a terrible gagger when it comes to molds and has always been troublesome whenever we had to go in for the initial orthodontic visit.
