Fantastic experience: Kind, caring and professional. I highly recommend this Practice.

Negative experience: My initial experience with Dr Burgess approx 4yrs ago was life changing, however paralysed with mental health issues I only managed to return again recently. The compassionate angel I'd raved about now, instead was curt with me, even humiliating me in the company of her nurse, 'your the one who doesn't brush your teeth!'. She is aware of my mental health & sensory struggles. Obviously I didn't return for subsequent visits, but I am to ashamed at this time to follow up treatment period. 6months have passed & am only able to speak of it now. Extravagant fees to leave with ptsd.

Fantastic experience: Had a broken tooth that was dead as well, dr burgess removed it with care, she's wonderful and very gentle she takes great care in making sure no or little pain is caused when doing any procedure, im so happy shes moved to kelmscott and we wish her all the best. Highly reccomend for those a little worried about pain shes the best.

Positive experience: Original Review was 2019 about the Armadale Clinic, they have moved to Kelmscott now I have not been to Kelmscott. Original Review: Extremely expensive compared to other clinics. 5 STAR Armadale Clinic, 5 STAR Service and 3 STAR experience. I will never forget the x-ray experience with the led plate pushed in my mouth cutting the inside of my gum for a current $99 special, as I was unable to bite down on it, then referring me to a beautiful modern x-ray machine that moved around your face for $300, why I needed an x-ray is beyond me, my loose tooth to be extracted was already out of my gum, just hanging by a thread. Dr Dominique Burgess was patient and kind, she disappeared as soon as she had separated my tooth from my mouth. This clinic is a good business model and marketed really well.

Negative experience: So, two consults and almost $500 later (no treatment done) I discover this dentist has moved! The shop unit is completely empty. No notice, no email to say they were moving, no text, no letter, nothing. You basically took my hard earned cash and disappeared. Seriously not impressed. I'd have had more satisfaction giving the money away to the homeless person sitting outside.

Negative experience: What a massive letdown! I am giving one star for giving wrong info and being inconsiderate. During my last visit to my usual dentist, I was informed that I would need to take at least 3 days off work after a procedure. The receptionist also mentioned that I wouldn’t be able to drive, so my husband adjusted his work schedule to help me. I even informed my manager well in advance to arrange coverage. Despite my efforts, on the day of the procedure, a different dentist (not my usual one) only suggested a shorter time off. I’m incredibly frustrated and upset that they provided incorrect information and changed their stance. I’ve explained my situation multiple times, but the dentist told me it’s my problem to handle. It’s mind-boggling! I made sure everything was organized on my end, yet they’ve turned the situation around. I did right by my workplace, arranging coverage for my shift. I won’t ever visit Dr. Burgess again. I’ll stick with Dr. Serena Li, my usual dentist, who’s gentle, kind, and compassionate. She’s the reason I return to this clinic. Her approach makes me comfortable, whereas, Dr Burgess does not speak much, you feel you are being rushed, big ego, and just work-centred with very minimal compassion. I felt this way when she handled my procedure. The difference between them is stark. If you want a better experience and not a disappointment, consider another dental practice or stick with Dr. Serena Li. Response: Overall, the medical staffs need to rectify the misinformation provided to patients; this indicates a serious lack of work ethic. The word was "has to be" Has to be is no other way. It should been worded "maybe but not sure" So therefore I felt cheated! Then she should have given me extended medical certificate to apologise. I was not demanding, i was being reassured before I made this appointment that I will get the said dates on my medical certificate. I really felt cheated to the extreme. Promise is promise! That's the difference, CLEARLY IT WAS NOT A DEMAND! However, in general, she was quite disappointing when compared to Dr. Serena. As I mentioned, I felt rushed, sensed a significant ego, and observed a lack of compassion. I have no intention of visiting Dr. Burgess again. She seems to lack understanding towards patients or any form of empathy. Even if she regards herself as an exceptionally skilled dentist, her minimal compassion left patients greatly dissatisfied. I'll continue to seek care from Dr. Serena. She is the only reason.

Fantastic experience: A warm friendly greeting from the Receptionist.. I had my first visit with Dr Li today with a Positive experience she was so informative and friendly, as was the dental assistant. I would highly recommend this Dental clinic to my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Burgess for a couple of years now. She is very personable and her staff are always professional and well presented. Elysian dental is a little hidden gem in Armadale. The clinic is very luxurious and state of the art. Great idea having ceiling mounted TV's for distraction for those that find the dentist work anxiety inducing. I have had root canal and crown work done by Dr Burgess. She also does all my maintainence work and the surgery is great at reminding me when I'm due for a check up. I refer everyone I know to this clinic and the staff are very welcoming and accommodating. They are HBF, HCF and NIB preferred provider. I have seen many families with kids when I've been in and all of them leave with a smile on their faces.

Fantastic experience: Got my chipped tooth fixed, they took pride in their work. Tooth chipped again (no fault of the dentist) Dr. Burgess was quick to stand by her work and got it all fixed up without any fuss. Customer service is second to none, and I love the idea of Netflix the roof so you can see it when you are laying back!

Negative experience: Dentist was unable to properly remove old root canal and tried to tell me that I would need implants and a denture because I didn't come in frequently enough. This place can probably do your basic check ups and cleaning but anything more than that and I would go anywhere else, they will try to do things beyond their ability. This review is based off of "Dr" Dominique Burgess or whatever her name was. A good place close by is Kelmscott dental. The best thing about Elysian is being able to watch Netflix while getting work done.

Fantastic experience: Dom and the staff have been fantastic throughout my dental journey. I have had very traumatic dental experiences previously and developed a severe dental phobia. As a result I needed extensive work done and Dom and the team were incredibly understanding and supportive and ensured I had all my work done to a high standard while managing my phobia. Can not recommend highly enough and will only take my daughter to Dom! Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: I always feel confident with the dental work that is being done. The girls are very considerate to the fact that I am nervous getting into the chair and quickly have me calm and comfortable everytime. My children are also comfortable coming to Elysian for their dental needs.

Negative experience: My child had a problem in his one of the tooth and booked an appointment, and they checked the tooth and said need to remove this. They had taken the x-ray and just checked one teeth and payed $110. I had gone to neerigen dental therapy dentist and they said there are 3 tooth have problem. I had return to elysian to extract the tooth only because neerigen had long waiting for appointment. On the second appointment i did asked them are you confident to take the tooth because my child is a special need child. They promised and said we are confident. they injected the anesthetics and my child was scared and he wasn't let them to touch. without even trying they said you need to go to a specialist. for that 10 minutes of work i had to pay $66. It was a 30 minutes appointment. we just gone out and comeback after 5 minutes because my child said i will let them do it. may be anesthetic work by that time. we went there the lady said we have another appointment now. We wasted money plus the pain my child had. I am just replying to your review reply because I can't reply to your comments. If you cannot guarantee you never promise over the phone. I did asked many times prior to appointment, then you said yes we are very confident. Secondly you never told you could see my child after the next patient. We walked out 11 am and cane back 11.05 and then you said next I could try 2.30 and you said you might need another injection. How can you inject a 7 year old boy 2 anesthetic with in couple of hours. This is why I never returned. And anotherthing you didn't tried enough after the anesthetic, just one try and said I need to go to specialist. The amount of pain my child gone through and you did not take effort to take the tooth out.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr Burgess and her Practice as it is a friendly ,clean and welcoming place to be in. All staff are super friendly. Prices are excellent and being a HBF/HCF provider is an absolute bonus too. Dr Burgess is a kind, professional Dentist which I truely believe you need in this industry. Her always great advice and never pushy attitude keeps me coming back ,I have found my Dentist for life .

Fantastic experience: I had the best care,both ladies were super nice,as was rob on reception. The ladies done a fantastic job on my tooth. I will definitely recommend them. Through the procedure they made me laugh a couple of times. Ive never laughed through a procedure before,how good is that .

Fantastic experience: My partner and I both attended Elysian last week for checkups as well as scale and clean. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and made to feel welcome and comfortable. So few people enjoy going to the dentist, And my partner is no exception. He was treated so wonderfully by Dr Burgess and Jess during his appointments, he went back to have the recommended tooth extractions! We both had 100% faith in the care and treatment as everything was explained clearly and there’s was never a feeling that we were taking up their time or that we were an inconvenience. Overall, very very happy with our experiences. Would definitely recommend Dr Burgess and the amazing team at Elysian!

Negative experience: So, first time at this new business. I went in two days ago for a quote for a scale and clean only. She quoted $120 and we where under no obligation to have any other services. I said, great, I just want a scale and clean and see if we can make you our new local dentist as there is five of us that need a new dentist. I sent my son alone today for the very first time being an independent adult for his treatment. I said to him it's $120.00 no more. He then messages me telling me the bill is $328.00. I phoned and Elly answered. I said I will not pay that. She said my son was asked if he wanted a check up. He unknowingly said yes to this, not realising that this check up will cost an extra $208.00. They X-rayed and checked up and gave him fluoride. They did not tell him that this will cost extra, let alone how much. My husband then got on the phone with the manager, whom said that our son is an adult and he should know better. Our son, being all of 19 and never had to attend to an appointment alone. We argued the point that he should of been told how much the extra service should be, and the manager kept saying that our son is an adult. My husband then drove down there to have this out face to face and to relieve our son from this embarrassing confrontation. My husband had to pay as they did not relent and said that they will tell the dentist in future to tell people the cost. Not only was this dentist extremely expensive, they have now lost 5 new clients and totally humiliated my son whom is only just starting out in life. I hope one day, someone takes advantage of your children, to all that was involved in this unusual circumstance today that could of been dealt with fairly! Julie. In response to your response::::::.Elysian Dental my son did not ask! Your dentist asked! As I said, my inexperienced son said yes due to not knowing that it comes with a cost! Don’t try and make out it’s our fault. Your dentist cross selled and did not discuss that it cost extra. As my son said, “I did not know Mum” . As we said to your manager, our son would of rung us to ask if he could spend another $208 on our account. I hope your doors close within a year as I don’t see you being a successful business . We are reasonable and respectful people, if our son was told the cost, then we would not be having this conversation.

Fantastic experience: I have been treated by Dr Burgess for 5 years. She is a friendly, calming and extremely talented dentist. She always consults me with different treatment options to suit me and I know that whatever is choosen I can trust her clinical judgement. I would recommend anyone to join Dr Burgess in her new practice, your experience is guarenteed to be fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Dr Burgess is amazing. So caring and gentle. She has been my dentist for several years now. In the beginning she used to sedate me but that is now no longer required because I am so confident and relaxed in her care. Wouldn't consider going to anyone else.
