Negative experience: My partner and I came here for a clean when our usual dentist was on leave and were both told we needed fillings and xrays done. Neither of us have ever required fillings before so it was a shock to us so we decided to wait and talk to our usual dentist about it. Our usual dentist said we didn't need fillings, and 2 years on, at each regular dental check up he still denies that we need fillings. This place is a scam, don't go!

Negative experience: The lady at the reception thinks she is Jordan Belfort. Will do anything to try and get you a root cannal on the spot.

Negative experience: Yes it’s a good place for a root canal. James is very good. No it’s not a good place for good advice. They will absolutely try to sell you a root canal when it’s not needed. The volume of good google reviews are paid for.

Negative experience: Please do not trust high score at this clinic, it could be fake. Please read the lowest score review if you really want to know about this clinic before going their for a treatment. We visited this clinic recently due to a tooth pain. At the beginning the receptionist (she is around 50 years old) was very nice. She gave some painkiller and told us to come early next morning. While we were there, she was trying to explain what happens if we do not come back such as it can affect to brain, then we go emergency in hospital I would cost a lot of money. What she said much of us very worry. When we came back next day, she called us on the way to ask if we are coming yet because our case was very serious in her opinion. We arrived and she did xray and checked. Then she said the tooth now need to repair and the cost is around 2000$. When we said we want to manage the pain first? She insisted that we need to fix it now otherwise it will cause pain to brain and destroy many things. She was trying too scary us. Then she knew that we do not to do it, she said we should do screw and put medicine first and cost 600$. She was trying to convince and scary us again of what would happen if we do not do it, she mentioned how nice she is and how much it would cost if we went to other clinics. At the end we decided not to do it and asked for invoice (300$), and she even said things like we are stupid for not doing the service and scary us with a lot of things like, later expensive for emergency. I agreed to other reviewers if there was “zero” score, I would give to this service.

Negative experience: Read the lower reviews for a better understanding whether you should go to this clinic or not. I wish i did. Not professional at all. Dentists door left open during procedure, receptionist/owner comes in and out of the room when she pleases, over-charges simple procedures and a simple dentist job botched leaving with me immense pain over several days. Another dentist at another clinic was shocked about what was done. I will be reporting this unprofessional business. I wish I never walked through those doors.

They went above and beyond for my emergency dental work, making me feel as comfortable and looked after as possible during the whole process. 10/10 recommend to anyone needing dental work - especially if dentists give you a bit of anxiety!

Negative experience: Not a great experience. I came to JE Dental for a consultation re. my wisdom teeth. I saw Dr. Ruixi... she was very knowledgeable. However, the issue was an older lady which I believe was the Owner / Receptionist who barged into the room in the middle of my consult with Dr. Ruixi. As soon as I asked out pricing to remove a wisdom tooth, the 'owner / reception' lady took over the conversation & quoted me a ridiculous amount to get my wisdom teeth removed and kept trying to convince me that I needed all 4 wisdom teeth removed at once and when I asked why, she didn't give me a solid answer and just said "you're going to have to get them removed anyways". She quoted me $600 for the removal of each tooth - The removal of 4 wisdom teeth would total to $2400... under local anaesthetics. She continued to say things like "if you go anywhere else they will charge you over $1,000 to remove each tooth, I'm giving you a discount" and "you'll spend a lot more money if you go to any other dentist". Anyways, fast forward 2 weeks I've gotten my wisdom teeth removed at another dental clinic at a fraction of the cost $250 per tooth and everything was done professionally. This is a warning to people wanting to visit this place... be prepared to pay a lot more as JE Dental is just out to get as much money off you. JE Dental is not an ethical dental practice, in my experience.

Negative experience: I dont usually give negative feedback, but I think I should warn everybody that the owner (the receptionist) seems dishonest & rip off people and the dentist did not do check up properly. I booked the appoinment few days prior and when I booked, I also asked how much it would cost for consultation. And he said $40 for consultation and might need to pay extra if extra job required. When I took my daughter for check up today, the dentist only just asked to open her mouth. The dentist only looked at the teeth from far distance. Did not look it in details, did not even use any tools. And took only 5 mins. And when the dentist said "there is no holes", seems the statement is unsure... So I suspect it could be right / wrong until I asked again. Then, after the check up finished, I went to the receiptionist to make payment. And I was very surprised when she said " It is $100, original cost is $142 but you only need to pay $100 today". It is unbelievable. When I booked few days ago they said only cost $40. I understand we are required to pay extra, but the dentist did not do anything, did not even touch & only look from far distance, how could we have to pay $100? Anyway, I still paid $100, then I asked if I can claim back from Medicare. And the receptionist said : " I am not sure, you may need to go to Medicare and show this paper and ask whether you could claim it or not" After I received the invoice, the invoice says $100 came from.: consultation, remove teeth etc. Then I asked the receptionist, why do you charge these kind of jobs, the dentist did not do anything?? And she said : that is only the description in the invoice to show to Medicare. And I said: then why we still have to pay $60 for nothing?? Then she said : "But you could claim it ftom Medicare" Few minutes before she said differently, she is not sure whether I could claim from Medicare.... And after that, she refunded $60 because she couls not find anymore excuses. Please beware, She is very dishonest! If I can have option to put 0 star, I would choose..

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful patient care. My son was in agony and they took very good care of him as he had an infection and needed a lot of work. Very caring and patient team. Have no hesitation in recommending them as good family dentistry.

Negative experience: If i could give 0 stars I would. I am not normally a person to write a review for a bad experience but this time I feel that it is important for the safety and care of others. I recently came in for a teeth clean at JE dental and there I wanted to enquire about teeth whitening. The owner of the facility kept interrupting me and the dentist as I was trying to gain more information about the process and whether I would be eligible. My concerns were if I were to be better suited for a in chair or a take home whitening process. The owner was very pushy that I do it in chair and she offered for me to do it today post a clean of my teeth. My first mistake was not holding my ground and saying no, but I felt very pressured as she already started unpacking the whitening equipment. I then asked if this was okay after just having a clean as I was worried if my teeth would be too sensitive but the dentist and the owner reassured me that it will be okay. They also informed me the process would NOT hurt but I might feel some sensitivity. They began the process and the equipment did not fit my mouth and I felt the dentist was unsure about what she was doing as she kept looking nervously at her assistant and also had to leave the room to get the owner. My mouth then began to sting really painfully so I told the dentist to stop. I must be honest in that I did have dry lips, but if informed this would be an issue, I would have not gone ahead. The owner then rushed in saying it was because of my cracked lips but did not hear me out when I was saying it was my gums and the entire inside of my mouth. After stopping the process no one cleaned out my teeth or gums which had the gum protector paste on and whitening solution. The dentist also got some of the solution on my skin which bleached it and now I have a white discolouration there. They then proceeded to claim it was a bug bite because I said it was itchy, which I confirmed it was not. After they said it was the bleach and told me to moisturise. As I was concerned, I then called another dental practice where I spoke to the dentist who was appalled and shocked by this situation. He then talked to me about after care and how to recover from this experience. He also mention they should have not encouraged a whitening process post a clean. I urge future customers to be careful of this place as I do not wish this experience on anymore. Please take care of yourself and don't feel pressured to do anything. As a healthcare worker myself, I would never imagine to treat my patients/customers like this as patient trust and CARE is something very important to me. Please stay safe.

Fantastic experience: Thanks again for the prompt and wonderfully careing treatment I received yesterday from the delightful team at JE Dental to remove some difficult and long overlooked teath .A very lengthy procedure handled with great empathy and professionalism from dentist,dental nurse and reception on this rather skidish patient .Would highly recomend this dental surgery to all .Cheers ladies .

Negative experience: What prompted me to write this review was that disappointingly, they did not respond to my private feedback. Overall, the clinic was a nice place and the dentist knew what he was doing. However, two unfortunate incidents marred the experience. I received a call asking me to arrive 30mins earlier for my appointment, which I did, however I was only attended to 20mins after my appointment time, thus I ended up waiting for nearly an hour. To her credit, the receptionist was apologetic and did explain why there was a delay. The dentist and his nurse were busy chatting about the "Crazy Rich Asians" movie and something about cleft palate and many other things while attending to my teeth, as if I was not present to listen to their banter. This was very unprofessional, as private chats should not be conducted in the presence of patients. If you are after a professional dental experience, then you should go to another clinic.

Negative experience: The dentists do their work well and I am happy with my teeth. But if you like professional dental clinics and appointments done on time, I would reccomend you go to another dental clinic. I got my braces here and I come here every 8 weeks for a wire change. It takes 1-3 hours in the waiting room due to “dental emergencies”. When you’re sitting on the chair and having your orthodontist work on your teeth, the owner would come in every 5 minutes chatting with the employees - distracting the dentists, right? Or run in to check the money balance; “Oh no, where’s the $1000 that was sent in last Friday? I don’t see it on the records. etc etc.”

Fantastic experience: Great experience and absolutely professional experience. I have a giant fear of dentists but tammy was the best experience I've ever had. Definitely would visit again!
