Fantastic experience: I have been going to Bill for years. Highly recommend him to everyone but especially those with a fear of dental work. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Negative experience: This dental clinic is appalling. The dentists I saw here were unprofessional and most staff demonstrated deceitful business practices. The manager made an agreement with my mother and I (in writing) to have new nylon dental splints made as we were given no options/choices with regards to which material was used in our original splints. An agreement, which today, was dishonoured. Nylon is a superior, modern material to make dental splints from that offers many oral health benefits compared with acrylic. One of which, is fewer microplastic shedding overnight (due to the highly durable nature of nylon) and it's smooth, sealed surface resists plaque, stains, and bacteria . The dentist we originally saw essentially lied by omission and ordered us the worst possible material to make our splints from - acrylic. The manager booked us in to have scans done (in order to make the new nylon splint) and when I attended today, the dentist I saw refused to proceed with the scan as was agreed. I had driven from such a far distance only to be treated in a rude and unprofessional way for a second time! She stated that she was not the dentist who had deceived me originally and therefore wasn't responsible for organising the new splint (despite the fact that an agreement had already been made with the manager). She also advised I go elsewhere. After the shocking, rude and deceitful business practices I observed today, my mother and I will not be returning to this disreputable dental clinic and will be pursuing a full refund.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Bill for over 20 years and he's a brilliant dentist. Super friendly, explains everything and doesn't unnecessarily perform services/charge for things you don't need. Our whole family sees Bill and will continue to do so!

Fantastic experience: I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr Kedar Samant and his dental assistant and can not recommend the two of them enough. They were both very personable and took their time explaining the procedure to me. The procedure was painless and my recovery was extremely smooth. I had no bruising and was able to work the next day.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever. I had my teeth checked by Dr Urvashi Payal. She was very friendly and listened carefully about my symptom. She then informed me about the overall procedure for treatment and its cost. Throughout the treatment she kept checking that I was okay. She also gave me a through explanation about my condition and recommendations for home care by the end of the session. Front of house staffs were very friendly and helpful. Booking was easy. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Moonee Ponds Dental Clinic (MDC) for the first time, feeling new to the country and unsure of how the dental system worked here. From the moment I arrived, I was met with kindness and professionalism. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and welcoming, Eleanor was kind, friendly, patient, and made me feel at ease. I was seen by Dr. Payal Urvashi and her dental assistant, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I came in with tooth pain and other concerns, and Dr. Payal was so thorough in explaining everything clearly, making me feel relaxed and supported throughout the whole process. I went back for a second visit two weeks later, and again, Dr. Payal was just as kind, professional, and attentive. I really appreciate how everything was explained in detail each time, which gave me a lot of confidence and peace of mind. Their fees are also very reasonable, which made the whole experience even better. My tooth has felt so much better since, and I’m truly grateful for the care I received. Fantastic experience: I have been a regular patient at NDC Moonee Ponds for many years and recently had to have a wisdom tooth extraction with Dr Kedar. I had some trepidation due to previous experiences with extractions but Dr Kedar was extremely patient, explained the procedure and aftercare thoroughly. I barely felt the anaesthetic being applied and once it took effect the tooth was out in under a minute. I was incredibly impressed with Dr Kedar's efficiency but also with the entire booking process and experience from all members of the team at NDC Moonee Ponds.

Fantastic experience: Im not a fan when it comes to dental appointments but I force myself to go. Yesterday I had to have a large back tooth (which had a root canal treatment done years ago) removed. I saw Kedar Samant for this procedure. He was so kind but also professional and removed the tooth successfully. His care and professionalism put me as much at ease as was possible under the circumstances and his 2 lovely assistants were also great.... sorry for squeezing your hand so tightly oh and the odd F word ‍♀️ I would recommend visiting national dental care at moonee ponds the team there are lovely.

Negative experience: This Christmas Eve, me and my kids had a very bad experience in this dental clinic. I had three seperate appointments with the times 10:30,11:00,11:15. I was late for my first appointment, because of finding car park. The receptionist told me that I could have two people for treatments, so I accepted the idea. However, when I was filling the forms, the doctor Bill came to chat with the receptionist rather than starting the treatment for the first person. After I completed all the paperwork the receptionist suddenly informed me Bill would only give treatment to one person now instead of two as he agreed three minutes ago. The thing is it just turned to 11am and there wasn’t any other patient in the waiting room. There was only myself and two kids. I am really confused why they kept cutting off the number of treatments in my family in just a few minutes when they had plenty of time chatting with each other. Had they started checking my kids first while I was doing all the paperwork, no time world have been wasted. This is a common sense about how to manage time, but it seems to be difficult for them to work out.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dentist James at Moonee Ponds, he was very helpfull, professional and experinced. The treatment I had for my teeth was not painfull at all and didn't even feel any disomfort. Definately I will be back.

Negative experience: My partners crown broke and she wanted to get a temporary crown before going back to Japan to have a replacement done for free. The dentist was unprofessional, loudly exclaiming "Oh god" upon inspecting the tooth that was there to be treated. They then wouldn't install a temporary crown because insurance would only cover a certain amount for it and it wasn't worth it for their practice. They said they would only do the temporary crown if my partner chose to do the full crown treatment and even refused to allow us to pay out of pocket for a temporary crown.

Positive experience: My dentist who was recommended many years ago through Australian Unity is excellent! It’s annoying they’re not owned by Australian Unity anymore as my card wasn’t in my wallet yesterday, so they couldn’t process the claim, so I’ve had to pay $600 so I’ll claim it all back.
