Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom teeth removed a few days ago and had such a pleasant experience thanks to the dentist Dr Nicole Hocek, the anaesthetist Dr Murray Jacob’s and the receptionist. Everyone was so kind, professional and knowledgeable. Such a lovely clinic!

Fantastic experience: I visited this dental clinic today after not seeing a dentist for around six years, and I was honestly quite nervous going in. From the moment I arrived, the professionalism and kindness of the entire team immediately put me at ease. Dr Joachim Peermamode was incredibly patient, thorough, and reassuring throughout the appointment, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making sure I was comfortable at every step. Melanie was also fantastic - friendly, attentive, and very supportive during the visit. A special mention to Bella at the front desk, who was welcoming, organised, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free from start to finish. The clinic itself is clean, modern, and well run, and you can genuinely tell the team cares about their patients. I left feeling relieved, informed, and far more confident about coming back. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone who feels anxious about dental visits or is overdue for a check-up.

Fantastic experience: Thanks a million team Very grateful for your help, I feel a million bucks better now than I did this morning. I’m pretty sure the local anaesthetic has worn off, and yet still have zero pain. It is always worth travelling the longer distance to have your fabulous care.

Fantastic experience: My partner had a broken decaying tooth and we have gone through two different dentist. No specialist was available anywhere- until we called Dental Sense up. This lady had been working all day and she still managed to help my partner with his tooth. So very thankful, this business cares so much about others well being not just money. The owner should be very proud of they're employees. New favourite dentist- will definitely be coming back. P.S Instead of going home on time, she stay back longer to help us out. What a gem truly.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has not been to the dentist in over 10+ years due to extreme anxiety and fear, I left today feeling a total sense of relief, calmness and reassurance. Fantastic experience: The team at Detal Sense cannot be commended more. They performed a critical tooth extraction, preventing a potential life threatening situation. The entire process from describing the procedure, fitting me in to their busy schedule, punctual, efficient, experienced. Top result. Successful removal of difficult tooth and large septic abscess. Fantastic experience: I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out by Nicole in hospital, she was absolutely amazing. So kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her if you are anxious to get them out.

Negative experience: Be cautious that you will be over charged at this dental clinic. Very disappointing & unfortunate when a patient is being over charged for not getting the service. In 2023 in three sessions with Dr Ema & Dr J I was charged $177 + $233 + $292 for only cleaning NO Fillings' NO Obstruction or NO Xray's I would call it the ripping off patients especially with Dr J who spends around 15/20 minute's talking, checking & cleaning for almost $300. (Only 15/20 minutes) For the above reason" The clinic doesn't even deserve 1 star For my last session I Explained twice to the receptionist that our dental insurances has NO GAP policy for cleaning, exam & Xray but I was still charged almost $300 only for cleaning for the 3rd time within 10 months. The clinic has lost our trust & we wont be going there ever again. This is HADI & I had an appointment last Saturdays at 11:40 along with my Partner.

Fantastic experience: I started going to Dental Sense after seeing how amazing they were with my 16 year old daughter who is deathly afraid of needles - she has now had 2 fillings we thought would be impossible! I called them for myself this morning after suffering all weekend with an abscessed tooth and they managed to fit me in. Wasn’t with our usual dentist but the dentist I saw was wonderful and although I am a bit sore now, I am grateful he was able to extract the tooth with minimal issues. My family and I absolutely recommend Dental Sense, especially for anyone who is afraid of the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Cannot fault a single thing with the clinic. Their kind & caring dentists are truly top notch; kind, gentle, informative and work with dental anxiety so well. The reception staff and Practice manager are also so lovely. I would have no hesitation to recommend Dental Sense. I drive nearly an hour to get to the clinic and will happily continue to do so as I know it’s worth it 100%, if that helps to understand just how much I value the care my family and I receive. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Tooth clean and two x-rays 400.00 dollars plus. Very friendly and professional dentists.

Positive experience: Pretty good. Didn't even feel the pinch of the numbing stuff. Took about as long as they said. Cost was a bit more at $300 for 2 fillings. But the dentist was really nice and clear. Place was very clean. But they could do with some music.

Fantastic experience: I went in for an extraction yesterday and Dr Adam was amazing, I explained to him my anxiety around the procedure and he kept me calm the whole time, walked me through it and was gentle as possible. I have never had a bad experience with this dentist, very well priced and everyone is just lovely. Cant recommend enough especially if you're terrified of the dentist like me Thankyou!

Fantastic experience: I was delighted to have experienced three visits to this clinic with two different Dentists, Nicole and Adam. I have previously used their services in Kalgoorlie and feel it is well worth the 640km trip to Perth to have Dentists I trust and who understand my anxiety levels in having dental treatment. I never imagined that I would feel safe enough to have a tooth extraction in a chair, yet Nicole magically removed a very bad wisdom tooth with expertise and finesse that is beyond mosts dentists capabilities - or at least those that I had met prior to meeting Nicole and Adam. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone, especially those who have severe dental anxiety - they know how to address the most fearful patient. Well done to a great team

Fantastic experience: A BIG shout out to Dental Sense with their great service, caring & compassionate staff!!! It is always a pleasure when you step inside and greeted with a bubbly welcoming from Ivana, Cherise & Debbie. The kids love coming in to see Dr David Makse for their regular 6 monthly checkups. He takes the time to explain to them what he will be doing, how long it will roughly take and the tools that he will be using. Thank you for making my children feel welcomed and at ease at every appointment. If only I had the same experience when I was a child. I must say, the highlight of the dentist trip for them is they love the mini toothpaste samples on the counter... which I find in their pockets :-) Suzie Zec

Fantastic experience: I have seen a number of dentists in my time across a number of practices, but Dental Sense is the one place I am happy to stay with. The team there are like family to me and I never fear my trip to the dentist. I have had previous dentists that I felt like were just trying to take my money. I do not feel this way at Dental Sense. I trust them to only do what is required to keep my teeth healthy, but also to be completely up front with me when something needs to be done. They are able to communicate with me clearly, explaining any feedback I provide in a logical and understandable way. I like to know what is going on with my teeth and I know I can walk away from Dental Sense with a full understanding as well as guidance on how to best look after my teeth. I think it is difficult today to say that you can truly trust a provider, but I do completely trust Dental Sense to look after my teeth in the best possible way.

Negative experience: It is unfortunate that I feel sufficiently distressed to alter my previous extremely positive review from 5 to 1 star. I am perplexed by Dental Sense's recent neglectful treatment and absent follow up; which is in stark contrast to previous consistent compassionate care. Have you gotten to big so as to focus on profit over people? Do you not accommodate those in need of help for dental phobia? I hope this review and feedback assist's your business model to be socially responsible and conscious of how advertising a 'for patients with dental phobia' promotes levels of expectations for those who struggle to see a dentist. It is this particular change of my review that I hope informs those patients who maybe searching for a sensitive dentist that makes sense. Hence, equipping them so they are able to manage their expectations to reduce the chance of ambiguity and a possible environment that elicits expectation management failure, and ultimately to be prepared for elicitation of anxiety escalation. It is in good faith that I share this to empower consumers/patients to make an informed educated search and selection of a dentist. ____________________________________________________ Having experienced two separate dental emergencies over the past 6 months, the down-to-earth professionally friendly team at dental sense have gone above and beyond. Their practice name is evident in their provision of the highest, reliable, and responsive patient-centred dental care; nothing short of making ‘dental sense’. For a person who experiences high levels of anxiety that emerge as a dental phobia, I did extensive research on the most suitable practice. Specifically, Dr Nicole Hocek is a phenomenal practitioner. Dr Hocek is extremely talented at dentistry and calming anxious patients. Dr Hocek is a warmly humanistic and genuine practitioner, with exceptional abilities to express empathy during conversation, and explain and elaborate on treatments and the process thereof. Her extensive experience and clinical skills enable her to provide a broad range of treatments. These are greatly beneficial for extremely anxious patients like myself. Dr Hocek and Cherise always go the extra mile to ensure that the necessary treatments are prearranged for my appointments, which assists me in attending and not cancelling because of the dental phobia. Dr Adam Peermamode delivers a warm welcome, is extensively patient and understanding. Dr Peermamode did his utmost best in successfully putting my jaw back in place twice - helping me avoid needing to attend the hospital emergency department. So, thank you for your tenacity. Dr Kalen White was the first dentist I ever had an appointment with at dental sense. I was in excruciating pain and highly anxious. Dr White is very skilled in verbally de-escalating your anxiety and delivers unmatched persistence in successfully making you feel a part of your treatment plan. The Practice Manager, Cherise is consistently compassionate. From first contact 6 months ago, I entered without an appointment given the tooth pain I had. Cherise kindly greeted me with the ideal customer service approach - what we ‘can’ do for you, rather than telling me what they can’t do. Cherise promptly assessed and triaged me, and then organised for treatment immediately. Recently, unable to speak clearly, Cherise recognised my voice on the phone and, once again, showed the rare commodity of compassionate care. Cherise is the cherry on top at the practice; even for someone who is so anxious they are afraid of the dentist. Thank you to you all. I am forever grateful. As common sense is not so common in society, neither is compassionate clinical care with a humanistic take. Although I feel confident in this practice, for they make ‘dental sense’!

Fantastic experience: Emma Tan is perhaps the best dentist that my wife, Julie and I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is the most gentle, kind, considerate and a highly professional person. What's better is that she has a great sense of humour!

Fantastic experience: Very happy I decided to try Dental sense approx. 6m ago after seeing a practice previously that I was kinda OK with but not happy with. Firstly I went and saw Kalem who fixed up my chipped composite veneer and he did a great job, he also did a filling for me and I even expressed to him at the time that I have NEVER had anyone give me such a pain free local injection! I was amazed and happy and I always end up shaking in the chair from anxiety yet Kalem and myself were so surprised at how calm I was! (ive unfortunately had a lot of dental work the past 3 years) Then we came up with a plan for my teeth and some more fillings, xrays etc. Shortly after my wisdom tooth became infected so I saw kalem and he gave me a course of antibiotics and we organized for removal of my bottom wisdoms which was booked for 2nd Aug 2019. This is a very anxious thought for me as I have been putting off this surgery for YEARS but Kalem was very good at explaining everything and answering all my questions. I then saw Nicole dental surgeon who was lovely and also made me feel so relaxed about everything. At the hospital, for my wisdom tooth removals, Nicole was so lovely and kind right before the procedure in the surgical suite and also came to check on me that afternoon also after I had recovered on the ward. The team were great with any concerns I had after surgery (my calls and multiple emails haha) Nicole had a long conversation with me two days after to make sure all was ok. And then I went in for a post op check 1 week later with Dr Adam who was also super lovely and then I had one more check 2 weeks after (last friday) as I was a bit worried and everyone was so great. In conclusion, I never thought I would say that I am happy to go to the dentist!! Thankyou for looking after me :-)

Fantastic experience: I had never before been to this dentist and was booked in to see Adam. The staff here are really kind and caring, but my experience as Adam’s patient was better than I’ve had with any of my previous 5 dentists at different practices. He took the time to really listen to my concerns, gave excellent advice, and delivered exceptional work to my old veneers. I was very impressed.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nicole Hocek and the team are spectacular. Nicole has been my dentist for a few years now and is easily the best dentist I have ever been to. Highly professional, knowledgable and caring. The surgery has a warm, calming vibe about it , which is unusual for any dentist surgery, but a definite bonus. Two thumbs up!

Negative experience: Christina was rough, not personable, and literally after two fillings as soon as numbness wore off i developed a severe large infected mouth ulcer for a week-due to her being rough with dental utensils and had to be put on penicillin for a week. I have never had this from any dentists throughout my life, she was extremely rough. I complained and went back in after 5 days- and the head lady dentist had a look at it my abscess/ulcer and said that it was already healing.... What a joke, my mouth had a massive hole in it and i could not eat or talk properly...and it was healing apparently?... She also told me to STOP taking my anti biotics i was prescribed and tried to down play the situation, i KEPT taking my anti biotics which HAS helped heal my mouth nearly, lucky i listened to myself and not to the "so called" professionals - I also asked for a partial refund as i had to pay for doctors and medicine and was rejected with a simple no and no apology , will not return ever again

Dr Lego provides a remarkable service and with his background in treating the cause of tooth decay outside of the conventional "stop eating sugar" spiel that all dentists give, you feel in safe hands. An approachable dentist who I travel over an hour each way to see. Will recommend every time!
