Fantastic experience: I required an emergency appointment today (Sunday) and Dr. Shizas was able to see me within 2 hours. A lovely dentist, would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience for my son who had broken his front tooth. I called Dr Arthur around 730pm and got an appointment made first thing the following morning. Dr Arthur was so gentle and reasurring as my son has a phobia of needles. No needles were used and everyone was happy. Definately will be going back even if ot os a 30 min drive! Thank you Dr Arthur!!

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Mend yesterday and it was a great experience. I don’t enjoy going to the dentist, but the whole team was so lovely that it really put me at ease. Particularly the lovely admin girl (I didn’t catch her name), but she was incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr Zac did a very good job in repairing Diana's broken tooth today. His professional approach and listening to the patient was very reassuring. Diana really appreciates Zac's excellent work. Dr Zac has today (different to Diana above) inspected and cleaned Peter's teeth. For someone who "doesn't like to go to the dentist" he made me feel comfortable and I was more than satisfied with the result. I am confident to return as I can trust he will do a good job. I was back to see Dr Zac again. He removed two very old (60 years) fillings and recreated two teeth. Brilliant job. I can recommend him as an excellent, patient, professional dentist. Dr Zac is truly a valuable member of the Mend Dental team. Dr Zac did two more fillings for me today. His work is so good my mouth did not feel any stress after one hour. He really is very good at his job.

Fantastic experience: I broke a front tooth two days before leaving on holiday, but managed to get in early next morning to Mend Dental. What an amazing job Dr Serena the Dentist managed to do in transforming my gaping tooth! Working quickly and efficiently, she and her assistant produced a whole tooth that looks and feels stronger than the original! Thanks to them, I can now go on holiday feeling confident about my tooth's appearance and function! Mend Dental is a very appropriate name and I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: I needed emergency care on a public holiday and I chose Dr Shizas based on google reviews as an emergency practitioner. I suffer severe dental phobia, to the point of needing almost all care done under sedation. Dr Shizas was able to get me through having a tooth (needing root canal treatment) cleaned out and prepped without sedation, thereby relieving my pain before referring me to a specialist for the RCT. Update almost a year later :) Dr Shizas is now the regular dentist for me and my family. His hygienist is amazing, he’s popped a couple crowns on (under sedation - love that he offers this). Wouldn’t go anywhere else. He’s talented, compassionate, and most importantly I no longer break into a cold sweat just sitting in a dentist waiting room. Lots of dentists say they’re good with anxious/phobic patients, this guy is the real deal and I wish I’d known him decades ago. Unbelievably talented with severely anxious patients, I would highly recommend any fearful patients consider Dr Shizas. He offers sedation as well, although I doubt I'll be needing that in future! Hugely grateful for the time and care he provided me.

Fantastic experience: A huge thank you to Dr Arthur Shizas of Mend Dental for seeing me for Emergency treatment on Sunday 22/12/2024 (within 2 hours of my call for help). Dr Shizas offers a true After Hours Service and I found him to be extremely professional and he took his time to make sure I was comfortable and understood what was going on throughout my consultation. Within 15 minutes Dr Shizas had diagnosed the cause of my extreme pain, thoroughly treated me and had me pain free by the end of my visit. I am one very thankful and appreciative patient- keep up the good work!.

Fantastic experience: Travelling for next 5 months and out of State and broke a wisdom tooth. Within hours of contacting Mend Dental I had an appointment and within days had the tooth removed. Truly a professional organisation from front of office to Dr. Ali. This was a no pain experience, friendly and professional, cared about my well-being and I did leave, maybe not smiling as I was holding the gauze in, but definitely happy.

Fantastic experience: I have moved to live less than 1k.from Dentist Dr. Arthur Shizas at MEND DENTAL. much closer than Modbury where I lived, and for about 40years had the excellent treatment for my dental care there. I had need of dental treatment due to a broken tooth, yesterday, Mothers Day. Checked out Dentist in my area, and found one with incredibly good reviews. One day later I booked in for an appointment. 2pm later in the afternoon I received the best, and very professional treatment one could anticipate. Must mention the receptionist as well. A1, Ace, Surperlative, and very professional. Excellent person for the position that she adequately is employed for.

Fantastic experience: Saw Arthur on a Sunday morning I had excruciating toothache that was infected. I have a morbid fear of dentists. Arthur was fantastic he pulled my tooth with a minimum of fuss he made sure I was completely numb before he started. cost was very very reasonable I was extremely impressed

Fantastic experience: I was in so much pain this morning (Sunday)and thought that I would have to wait until Monday to see a dentist. Thankfully I was able to get an appointment straight away although I was happy that my pain would be relieved I was very anxious as so many people are when visiting dentists. Dr Arthur was amazing, I didn't feel a thing and it was all over before I knew it.

Fantastic experience: I had severe tooth pain and needed a dentist on a Sunday morning, which is not easy to find. I found Mend Dental at Firle Plaza and gave them a call. I got an appointment time in less than 2 hours and I arrived to find a lovely dentist happy to help me. I am very anxious at the dentist, especially one I have never been to before but he made me feel at ease from the very start. He talked me through everything he was going to do and kept checking to make sure I was all right. I left in a lot less pain and at a very reasonable price considering it was after hours on a Sunday. He even sent me a text message in the evening to check how my tooth was doing. I can’t recommend this dental surgery enough. I’m very happy indeed.

Fantastic experience: Dr Arthur Shizas has been my dentist for 8 years now and I cannot recommend him highly enough. 8 years ago, heavily pregnant, I woke up with a tooth abscess. After four hours of trying to get help, I found Arthur on Google and on a Sunday late morning, he came to my rescue. I was already anxious about dentists but being in the late stages of pregnancy, I was even more anxious. Arthur explained everything clearly and calmly, and talked me through each aspect of the procedure. Anxiety about going to the dentist is a thing of the past now (unless I've not been flossing...;-) ). To this day, with any procedure, big or small, Arthur explains it clearly, talks me through it and is, without a doubt, the most gentle dentist I have ever had. He's a wonderful dentist, and a genuinely kind person.
