Fantastic experience: Dr Amit is very friendly and is very good at explaining what he is about to do. He is very competent, caring and gentle. He is in the process of fitting an implant for me, which required the extraction of the damaged tooth. I am happy to report that the extraction went well and I had no pain during or after the job was completed.

Fantastic experience: After my dentist retired from the workforce I tried a variety of dentists in the Canberra region. Affinity Dentistry was conveniently located close to home, so in 2021 I made my first appointment. Although the surgery is walking distance from my home there is both free and pay parking in the vicinity. The surgery is very clean and smells fresh. There are puzzle books and colouring in books for patience while they wait for their appointment. Because I am 65 years of age, my goal is to keep my old discoloured teeth munching, crunching, chewing and gnawing throughout old age. Remedial care and maintaining healthy gums are a priority. The dental hygienist cleans my teeth every 6 months and gives me tips on how to maintain healthy gums. She also gives free sample bags containing appropriate toothpaste, brush and floss. The cost of the clean including X Rays and sample bag is about $260-. The dentist uses a proprietary method to resurface the tooth when the gums recede. He calls it "an adhesive restoration "and it costs about $190- for each tooth. Full crowns cost about $2000-. Teeth whitening is also available in-home kit form and surgery procedures. The practice also entertains urgent appointments with only a few hours' notice. Since my first appointment, my gum health and sensitivity has improved. Everyone's dental needs are very unique, but I have been very lucky to find a dentist with skills that align with my special needs.

Fantastic experience: I've never been a confident dentist visitor - a bunch of reasons why, and since finding Affinity, it's made my dentist visits so much better. Emma on the desk is kind and a great distraction when you're nervous, and Chloe is a gem. She is kind and efficient and really wants to make going to see her a pleasant experience. I was in Adelaide making an appointment for my Autistic Son in Canberra, he has many sensory issues and Emma made the appointment quickly and with the right Dentist taking all this into account. Dr. Jeffrey was fantastic with my son, explaining everything with great detail and patience. He was extremely gentle and understanding of his sensory issues. He did a great job and the best part is that my son loved Dr. Jeffrey and is looking forward to seeing him again. For me that says it all as a mother of an autistic child that has experienced nightmare situations in the past. Thank you to all at Affinity Dentistry, you are all so very much appreciated. I most definitely recommend this practice to everyone, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I attended Affinity Dentistry at Deakin, Canberra on 27th December 2023. I must admit, Dr Jeffery Guo and his assistant were amazing. Not only they were professional, but also genuinely care for their patients. Before I attended Affinity Dentistry, I went to another dental practice on 24th December due to a severe nerve pain in one of my tooths. That practice not only charged me a fee for something they couldn’t fix, but also put me in great pain for 3 days during Christmas time. I was unable to find a dentist over this period due to Christmas shutdown. Dr Jeffery Guo was kind, and checked my tooth carefully and explained all my options. The procedure went smoothly and further care plan was explained at the end. They even called me next day to check up on me and the progress of the recovery. I highly recommend Affinity Dentistry at Deakin, and Dr Jeffery Guo for top quality service, reasonable fees and his professionalism. I definitely go there again for my annual dental check ups.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at a this dental clinic. Not only was the treatment excruciatingly painful, but the staff also seemed disinterested and dismissive. To make matters worse, I suspect that they overcharged me for unnecessary procedures. It felt like they were more focused on making money than providing genuine care. I left feeling deceived and in even more discomfort than when I arrived. I wouldn't recommend this dental clinic to anyone, and I urge others to be cautious when considering their services. This experience has left me feeling deeply disappointed and distrustful of dental professionals. After a long process with very high cost of my insurance at least two teeth were broken and I feel all my teeth affected very bad because of this clinical misbehaving.

Procedure took ages because my teeth suck, but I've honestly never thought I could laugh so much while having someone pull my teeth out. You guys are a hoot. Negative experience: Beware! If you have purchased a Government dentist Permit... Dont make the mistake of choosing these clowns.there Judgemental and the Dentist is a real Pease of work Had nothing but problems since.. The clown adjusting my partial denture whitch a month later has broken . filling has fallen out. Had to pay to see another dentist. Would return to see this D.. Rest of the staff are Beutiful and friendly. Just the Dentist is on some cloud.. Be warned....

My long time aversion for Dentists harked back to childhood memories of sometimes "brutal", unfriendly, condescending Dentists with no care or respect for their patient's needs & quite often over-zealous & unnecessary servicing costing the earth. I just avoiding going, "forever". Then, I found Dr Henna Bhardwaj & her fantastic team at Affinty Dentistry Deakin, A.C.T. The welcoming smile & friendly interaction from Sunday May at the reception desk, to the quiet, peaceful welcoming waiting area calmed my nervous apprehension. I was immediately at ease. Dr Henna is the most genteel, kindest, supportive, friendly & ultimate professional I have ever met in the dentistry universe. I had quite complex work required within a short time-frame with Christmas looming( fillings, cleaning, teeth removal & partial denture made & installed) . Dr Henna walked me through each step, advised me wisely & administered her dentistry skills perfectly. She is a superb technician & went above & beyond to meet all my needs to obtain a dentistry result I would be happy with. Every step was explained & the costing broken down into itemized sections. I was not overcharged & was offered time to pay via payment plans if I needed. Dr Henna is always happy & it is obvious that she has a genuine care for her clients & strives to reach the outcome they desire. She is kind, gentle, honest & caring, & totally professional, yet personable within that realm. A treasure. I am more than happy with my dental work, & now have a beautiful smile again thanks to Dr Henna & her staff. Dr Henna has changed my ingrained distrust of Dentists . I trust her & her professional judgement totally. I actually look forward to my visits with her knowing that I am in safe & professional hands.
