Fantastic experience: UPDATE 26.02.25....I WANTED TO WRITE A NEW REVIEW BUT GOOGLE WOULDNT LET ME....BUT TODAY EVEN THOUGH I SUFFER DENTAL ANXIETY I HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO NAKHOTA AND DR LAUREN GILL FOR SUCH GREAT CARE AND MAKING ME LAUGH WHILE HAVING MY TOOTH TAKEN OUT. YOU GIRLS ROCKED!!!!! ALSO OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS DR LAURA A HAS HELP ME FEEL MORE RELAXED VISITING THE DENTIST AND SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE I TRUSTED UNTIL TODAYS VISIT. THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SO CARING. OLD POST FROM 2022 I had a toothache for a week that was getting worse. I had an appointment for Friday 20/5 with Dr Gurpreet K. Doing the X-rays was quite traumatic for me, she was rough, shoving it in & out & in & out, pinching, hurting, felt like was going down my throat, & wouldn’t fit. Eventually it worked BUT She seemed inexperienced & the whole dental visit was a horrible experience. I was sent home with no resolution except take neurofen 3 times a day. I spent the rest of that day in tears & in absolute agony & terrible pain all weekend. I would NOT recommend Dr Gurpreet & definitely would not take children to her if you don’t want them scared of dentists. On Tuesday 24/5 saw Dr Laura A. She was wonderful. She was gentle & patient & caring. I also Can’t believe it was the same X-ray plate, went in first pop, with no pinching or stress to me. She also found the problem causing my pain, cleaned the area & I am now on antibiotics! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr Laura Asenstorfer

Fantastic experience: Dr Shane is by far the best dentist ive ever had. Hes so calm and professional. His dental assistant is amazing aswell, so friendly and funny. Reception are very friendly and professional even with alot going on. Hallet cove dental is well worth it.

Fantastic experience: I have a significant phobia relating to dental treatment after a very bad experience many years ago, and really dread going to the dentist. It was my first visit to this practice today and everyone was so kind and supportive. For the first time in more than 20 years I did not find the experience to be overwhelming. Thank you so much, especially Dr Lauren Gill who could not have been more understanding and compassionate.

Fantastic experience: I always had pleasant experiences with Dr Song and the staff here. I had a routine checkup and a necessary filling recently. I was originally required to make another appointment for the filling but Dr Song and the assistant were understanding and happy to do the filling on the same day due to my busy schedule. The whole process was pain free and quick. Dr Song has a gentle and calming demeanour that made me feel completely comfortable. I highly recommend this dental to anyone in need of dental care!

Negative experience: Went to my half yearly clean and check up, was told I had only booked for a check up and didn’t receive a clean. (Been coming to this dentist for 15+ years and always received a clean and check up) I was then charged an $80 gap (I had never been charged a gap previously and this time I didn’t even get a clean). When I called up to ask for an explanation the person on the phone told me to go elsewhere. Do not go to this dentist

Fantastic experience: Can not speak highly enough at the fantastic customer service I received today at the Hallett Cove Dental. From the wonderful lady at reception, who went above and beyond to help me out, the lovely dental assistant and to the amazing Dentist Dr Sofia Tsavtaridis , who listened to what was concerning me, checking my teeth and making me feel completely at ease. Every time I've have been here , everyone has been amazing and just wanting what is best for their customers . Keep up the great work

Friendly staff, my dental treatment is always of high standard, the practice has the latest technology, up front quotes, reminder texts for appointments, and being a 'preferred provider' of my health fund the prices are excellent. I highly recommend this wonderful clinic.

Fantastic experience: This Dentist is my go to for my dental appointments. Friendliest staff you could ever want to meet. Dentists talk to you and understand your needs and fears. They advise you on everything and give you all the information, products and follow up service that's second to none. I've been going there for more than 7 years. They know about and provide for people on blood thinners, transplant needs like immuno-supressants. I can't rate them highly enough.

Negative experience: Have always liked my dentists but the women at the front counter are awful. This morning - the receptionist accused me of pushing in front of an elderly couple when I had never and would never do that. I was in line when the couple came through the door and lined up behind me and the receptionist made a point of not wanting to serve me because I had ‘pushed in’. I asked the couple ‘sorry were you waiting before me’ and they confirmed - no. The receptionist was still rude to me for the remainder of the transaction. I’ve always thought the receptionist are pretty unpleasant and I think after that experience - I’m done with Hallett cove dental. I’ll go somewhere else where I hopefully get treated with respect. I’m not going to put up with that rude and unfair treatment.

Negative experience: I have never had a more horrific experience in my whole life. I paid this practice for a treatment ($5k), the dentist moved to a new practice and they told me they couldn’t help me; they would only conclude my treatment if I signed a waiver to prevent any adverse action towards the dentist. This is disgusting. I’m out of pocket, no one would support, the dentist was argumentative and only cared that he was a contractor and didn’t care that as the patient I have “buttons” on my teeth that need to be removed. Do not go here!

Negative experience: 7 visits and 4 different Dentists later and still having issues with a filling that was never an issue till it was filled! have been in pain since Jan and no idea what's going on, went in with no problem and came out with one! and why are your fill in dentist's advising not to enter the practice till its fixed? and if you want to know the dentist who advised me this, it was the Asian dentist from Sydney, I've lost too much of my annual leave due to this, also today (15/4) called and ask for an update EOB 16/4 and was hung up on.

Fantastic experience: Really appreciate the professional group of doctors here. Went in today with heart problems and their response and treatment was first class from the doctor and nurse. Even had a prompt follow up call from the very knowledgeable doctor with some key results as they knew I was anxious - very much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Dr Spiro Tzerefos was a champion today. I have had issues going to a dentist due to a past experience. Explained what would be done well and didn't just say we need to do this that and this. Did the job at hand and didn't rip me off. Cheers mate. Was a comfortable experience.

Negative experience: Asian doctor with poor communication skills. Didn't give me what I wanted. Get no invoice for 90 days then get a letter of demand. Very poor should sack him. Ask fo another doctor

Fantastic experience: Can have long wait times if busy, but no different to any other doctors clinics. Staff are amazing, very caring and try to accommodate your requests when they can. Doctor Jennifer Watt is lovely, caring & thorough, I was a bit worried what i was going to do when Dr Helen Paech left after being my doctor for years but I am so happy with Jennifer, she is fantastic. Nurses are all wonderful. I will not go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for years. First for myself and now my husband and children. My extended family go also. The doctors I see are caring experienced and knowledgeable. They can Always fit my children in on the day which I am grateful for. Nurses are lovely too, personalised care.

Fantastic experience: Dr Peter Alvino removed my last wisdom tooth today and I can not recommend him highly enough, everyone is dental phobic but he explained everything above and beyond and talked me through everything and was super caring and considerate, will be requesting him again for all future visits for sure! Negative experience: I phoned them up today asking for stitches removal, but had to wait for weeks to book an appointment as far as I am a new customer. What a service for Hallett Cove community! Ended up making appointment at Trinity Medical Centre in Port Adelaide where we used to live.

Positive experience: Lack of doctors who seem to care and extensive wait times. Half of the gp's are great the other half seem to treat you as an inconvenience to their day. Got a first booking and ended waiting 30 minutes. This is probably why you're always waiting for half an hour no matter what time you get there.
