Negative experience: I went there probably 3 weeks ago but i was disappointed with a result. Very first appointment was okay then second appointment didn’t well went. He didn’t say that what he was going to do and Dentist didn’t even offered a mirror at the end of the appointment to check my teeth. It was very quick and fixed 4 teeth at a same time he said. But when I checked basically looked no different to when I went in. And cost me 800 aud for just little scratch on it. First appointment was 150 aud around. Totally 950 aud just blew away from my pocket. I was shocked still. Dentist wasn’t that social much. That is why it is confusing. My treatment plan was 7000 aud around when he showed me.. I want refund for 2 teeth which has no difference at all. Decided to go different dentist now.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 I walked in off the street and got my teeth cleaned beautifully same day. We discussed other cosmetic work I was interested in, and the quote was extremely reasonable (4 front teeth $2200) so I booked in straight away and now have had the work done. I am extremely happy with the results. Also the rooms are spacious clean, calm and comfortable. 2hr parking around the corner. Fantastic experience: I am extremely pleased with Dr David Nguyen work. He is calm, gentle, professional and goes above and beyond with his services. I originally came in to get Invisalign but along the way I was required to get braces on my bottom teeth as well and also get cavities filled and he did all the services amazingly and with no problems. He did everything he could to provide me with the results I was seeking. 10/10 recommend, the best dentist\orthodontic service I have ever received. I really appreciate everything that they have done for me!

Fantastic experience: I first came to Dr David in an emergency with an infected wisdom tooth. I was fitted in very quickly and the problem (and subsequent extraction) was dealt with quickly, very empathetically and professionally. I was extremely apprehensive and in a lot of pain and Dr David and his assistant (I'm sorry, I don't know her name) made me feel at ease and relieved at a very stressful time. I subsequently visited for a long overdue checkup and clean. I can honestly say that over three visits now, due to Dr David and his assistant being so kind, sensitive and caring, that my very long held dental phobia has been relieved. I cannot recommend the South Melbourne Dental Smiles practice highly enough - absolute the best dental experience I've ever had and I cannot imagine going anywhere else now.

Fantastic experience: I realized that one of my tooth was dead and went to this place to have it checked out. The dentist, Dr. David Nguyen, confirmed my problem and recommended that I do a root canal procedure. As someone with dentist-phobia, this was one of my greatest fears. However, David was very gentle and professional and completed the root canal procedure smoothly over several weeks. My tooth looks good as new now and I don't have to feel self-conscious of my teeth. Glad I went here and I will be returning in the future.

Negative experience: I had expensive root canal therapy and Dr Seles doesn’t know what he was doing as I was in extreme pain during the procedure and few years later my tooth was infected and had to be removed. I would not recommend any dentistry work to be done here as plenty of other better options. All show but no go.

I had a small issue the day after the procedure and Dr Selers opened up the surgery late in the afternoon just for me, for something that took 10 minutes. Thanks for the concern Doc. Fantastic experience: We had a GREAT experience at Smile for Life! My 3 year old son had chipped his front tooth and was quite nervous about visiting the dentist. Dr. Selers took the extra time to make my son comfortable and got him laughing quickly, which allowed Dr Selers to give a thorough & complete check up. Victor then thoroughly explained & discussed with me next steps and best approaches to help remedy my son's front tooth. My 5 year old daughter then proceeded to have a great checkup and clean with Dr Victor & team. They are so good with kids at Smile for Life! The whole family will be returning.

Negative experience: I wanted to get my teeth whitened but was nervous because I'd read a lot of conflicting information online about the right way to do it. I thought going to the health professional would help clear up my concerns but got no help here. Literally all I wanted was: a) information about how whitening works and the different options out there b) a quote for how much it would cost After sinking $200-ish for the initial clean, I repeatedly had my phone calls and emails about getting a quote ignored for a month. I would've gladly gone somewhere else but all the other dentists in my area insist on doing their own initial session (fair enough) and I'd already wasted my time/money here. Slow, awful customer service that made me feel guilty for wanting to know more about the service and how much it would cost before committing.

Fantastic experience: I got a glass of water on arrival and orange juice when l finished. I was nervous after having had orthodontic treatment and root canal treatment in Sydney. I had three absolutely painless fillings and the experience here was first class. I am coming back for a smile makeover for my wedding. l would recommend the team with the loudest voice. And l scored a freebie brush!

Negative experience: Do not go to this dentist. Doesn't use qualified dental assistants, just gets the girl on reception to assist and she clearly was not familiar with the equipment, kept making mistakes, dropping things etc. Highly unprofessional and not even sure if legal. Also failed to adequately brief me on a treatment which turned out to be intensely painful. I had been planning to drive home afterwards as I had no idea I would be so incapacitated. Had to call my partner to help me get home. Actually shocked by how awful the whole experience of going there was.

Positive experience: Highly recommend Smile For Life,very friendly and professional staff that made me feel extremely comfortable. The dentist has a genuine concern and understadning for each patients needs, and I will continue to travel across town for the great service.
