Negative experience: I had an appointment here a few weeks ago, when I came here no one greeted me and I sat in the waiting room for 10minutes before someone finally came to the reception. I could hear them talking in the back and even after ringing the bell I was left waiting. When I saw the dentist it was way too quick and I felt like my teeth were not properly examined or cleaned. They did not check my gum health or floss my teeth like most dentists I’ve been to would. There was barely any communication and it just felt like a money grab. Whole appointment took less than 30minutes including the waiting time. Maybe I just got unlucky but it didn’t feel very welcoming or helpful.

Fantastic experience: I took my child for a tooth extraction, which I'd never a nice experience for them, but the doctor was very patient and did everything so my child was comfortable. They were very professional and kind.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Applebite Dental Coburg for many years and introduced all my family. I have been very happy with the friendly service but more importantly with the maintenance of my teeth. My daughter is also very happy with Dr Gandhi for making her feel comfortable when she had a tooth taken out a few years ago and ever since hasn't been anxious about going to the dentist. My father who is 93 recently has had 4 fillings and was very happy and comfortable throughout the procedure. The staff are friendly and the dental equipment is new and state of the art and a covid safe environment.

Fantastic experience: Broke a tooth and lost 2 fillings 12 hours before flying to Melbourne from Sydney. Choose closest to me. Phoned Applebite Dental in a.m. and they had me in the chair at 11.15a.m. and an hour later both teeth painlessly and professionally repaired. They always told me what was about to happen. Great service by all the staff. I "hate" dentists but was so impressed I asked the Dr. if he had time to clean my teeth. No problem. Great service.

I was treated by Dr Jean Lim. Her and her team were so so good, I cannot shout high enough about how good I was treated and their professionalism and expertise. The service was top level. Negative experience: Dr Ghandi did a simple extraction on my top two wisdom teeth, no surgery not impacted and took 10 minutes all together. Tried to put it as surgical extraction on hicaps to get double the price. Also when I told him I had private health he frantically searched my mouth for further work to do as he said “we can use limit for the year” told me I needed a filling on my back tooth and I’ve since seen another dental at a much cleaner and nicer clinic who confirmed that wasn’t true. Dr Lim did a small filling beforehand which I’ve had to now have replaced very rough job and left a significant gap between my teeth which could have caused further damage. May have been because of lack of equipment. They definitely take advantage of the patients limit knowledge and the health fund coverage. The clinic itself is dirty and old.

Given how sensitive some areas around my teeth are I was surprised it didn't hurt. The staff also swiped my Medibank private health insurance card to show me what I was covered for.
