About Smiles Crows Nest

Fantastic experience: I am a long term patient of Dr Peter Norton at Crows Nest. He and his regular assistant, Cecelia, are very considerate and careful with my dental care. I trust his recommendations and the technology that they have allows patients to easily see, on-screen, any issues with their teeth and understand why treatment is being recommended. The reception staff - Caroline usually - are always friendly and happy to help. The premises are light and airy and the overall experience is always pleasant. I can thoroughly recommend this practice to any new patient.

Negative experience: Signed up for the $250 new patient package and got charged $420 against my health fund instead. Was then advised the higher of the amounts is charged to patients whose health funds cover it which apparently is depicted in the fine print (which can be found nowhere on their website or associated with the promoted offer). Unnecessarily also had radiation exposure from X-rays I didn't want or need but proceeded with as the dentist advised they were part of the introductory promotional package (despite then be charged additionally for each of them). Terrible experience.

Immediately greeted by Caroline who was very warm and my experience with Dr Catherine and lovely Cecilia was beyond expectations- highly professional, patient and very responsive, consistently ensured that I was comfortable throughout my session. Highly recommend this dental clinic!

He explains every step of the process so she knows what is going on and what’s happening next which is helpful to relief anxiety. I liked that they kept records of the cartoons that my daughter asked last time to display in the ceiling screen. They had it ready for her!

Fantastic experience: Dentist Catherine Wu were friendly and patient when communicated with me. When she was doing her job, she and her assistants were gentle and professional. The clinic is modern and very well maintained. The room is spacious with big windows letting in natural light which eased my nerves of seeing a dentist. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this place for quite a while now. They have changed their company name but they are still all great here. My kid has been seeing Dr Norton since they were little. And Mark has completed an emergency filling for us. I've seen Catherine a few times and she did a great filling as well. They are all knowledgeable and friendly and they make seeing a dentist that bit easier.

Fantastic experience: Super happy with my experience so far with Dr Mark and the team! They have been super clear on cost and process for Invisalign and even general check ups and cleans have been very comfortable for me! Fantastic experience: BEST DENTAL VISIT EVER! I’m 37yo and this was my best trip to the dentist yet. Dr. Lu and his staff are world class. They went through my dental history at the start of the appointment and then did a full physical inspection to identify any problem areas. This was my first appointment and he helped me understand every step of the process by explaining opportunities for me to maintain and improve my home care. He showed me the images he took of my teeth so I could see for myself where I needed additional procedures. My wife and kids also go to Dr. Lu and we have all had such a great experience. His practice is clean and bright and he even put on a tv show for me on their ceiling TV during the cleaning. I couldn’t have asked for a better first appointment - exceeded my expectations in every way!!!!

Fantastic experience: I've always found the staff at Dental On Clarke very personal, friendly and thorough. I know visiting dentists is not my thing but MIchelle Andrews is always able to make me feel at ease during my treatments. I can be confident of her thoroughness and attention to detail with my teeth is first class. I also know she would never recommend or suggest unnecessary dental work for me. She is genuine. I'm so glad I've found a very good dentist in my local area and hope she won't ever leave.

He advised preventative care by determining habits I wasn’t aware I was doing. Example clenching teeth in the day while at work. Michelle is so careful when working, that going to the dentist isn't the horrible experience I come to expect. I twice feel asleep in the chair while having fillings replaced. I have since moved away from the area but come back over anyway. Michelle offered to recommend someone good in my new area, but when you find a good dentist you stick with it!
