Fantastic experience: The only dentist I’ve ever been to where the nurse was truly kind, compassionate, mature, and intelligent. The dentist is lovely too, but honestly, Vanessa is the reason I’m going back. If you’re nervous about the dentist, let them know - they genuinely care and will do everything they can to make you comfortable. Plus, the state-of-the-art technology is a bonus!

Negative experience: I went to this dentist last year before my kidney transplant - I was told I need multiple fillings (Around 10) and my wisdom teeth pulled out that were coming through. I walked out with a $7k bill to get everything fixed before a transplant…. I did not proceed as I went to a dentist 1-2yrs prior and had absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth. I then went to another dentist post transplant (6months ago) and they only found the start of 1 tooth that needs white filling. I asked Smile dental to send me the photos and X-rays. They could only send the photos no X-rays which a friend of mine who works in dental said is very strange. I am so shocked and enraged by this. To be ready to go in for a life changing surgery. I felt this Smile Dental was trying to take advantage of the fact I had to get a dental check for transplant. I will never return and wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist experience I've ever had. I was Soo scared to go to the dentist today, to have a tooth pulled and a clean. Dr vinash Kumar and his assistant made me feel so at ease. I was offered gas to calm me (best thing ever)and the whole experience was Soo easy and painless. Thankyou. This will be my dentist 4 ever.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency tooth extraction done in this clinic, and I need to tell you that these guys are professional! Great service, kind treatment, very understanding! Dr. Amol was amazing, my tooth was out quickly and pain free.

Negative experience: I recently had an experience with Smiles dental care, I was not impressed. I needed a number of teeth removed and I planned to use private hospital for the procedure, a week before I repletely asked for paperwork for hospital, and Anaesthetist, nothing. I was told paperwork would be coming. Days before procedure, still nothing. Fortunately, I contacted hospital and got that sorted. At 4.30 pm prior to surgery, I got an email telling me to fill out paperwork 48 hours before procedure, what a joke, nothing for anaestetist. I arrived at hospital who were wonderful and helpful. Anaeesthetist came and talked to me, and he said he only got notified 7 pm the previous night and told me he was lucky he had a cancelation that he could look after me. He was good. After the procedure the nurses told me the dentist had buggered off. I thought he would have come and talked to me about it like any other surgeon would do. He got his money, so he was gone. I definitely would NOT recommend these people.

Fantastic experience: Gemma was welcoming and helpful with a form I was required to fill in. Reception area was very clean and comfortable chairs provided. Dr Amol Dabholkar put me at ease as my first appointment as I have just moved to this area. Emma was brilliant in every way.

Negative experience: I was very disappointed with my experience as I had a main Molar removed because of an abscess which I later found out from another dentist could of been fixed with a simple antibiotic, causing a lot of unnecessary issues now and requires a $7000 implant.

Fantastic experience: After avoiding the dentist for over 20 years, I finally had no choice due to issues with wisdom teeth in early 2018. I had significant fears related to procedures including dental. Dr Amol and Vanessa both undertook my initial consult, advising of the treatment required, and options for additional teeth effected. They're happy to facilitate procedures in the local private hospital (if preferred) ensuring ultimate patient comfort. The administrative/reception team are always friendly and welcoming. I look forward to arriving to a positive environment and catching up with the team. Emma-Lee helped coordinate my latest hospital admission ensuring a smooth process from booking through to post-operative follow up. Dr Amol is also very considerate with post-operative care, undertaking general reviews within reason without additional fees.

Fantastic experience: Love, love, love this dental practice. I'm dental phobic to a major degree. They are so patient and kind, they even pull out the stress squishy so I don't go white knuckle. They also have the most up to date equipment and most importantly for me, they offer sedation.

Fantastic experience: I Recently had some composite veneers applied to fix some aesthetic issues I had with my original four front teeth.. To say wow to the result is an understatement, the teeth I have now are an absolute mirrored result of everything I had asked for, they are without a doubt flawless. Dr Dabholkar sculpted the teeth to the finest detail of the specifics I had requested & any admin efforts that were needed during the process from start to finish were always courteous & very robust in achieving instructions from myself. Finding a dentist can be easy but when it comes to cosmetic procedures you want the best & I can safely say you will be in the best hands with Dr Dabholkar & his team. Cheers guys!

Negative experience: My mother left this practice with a broken tooth left in her gums with no treatment plan. I'm no dentist however I'm fairly certain that standard practice would have your patient leave with the problem rectified or at least sealed for a future plan. Fortunately my mother has since found a reputable dentist who has fixed her issue. Smiles? No one is smiling guys

Negative experience: Would not recommend this dentist. My wife went here to support a local dentist. He told her the tooth was loose and not enough tooth left to refill, it had to be a crown @ 2500.00. So she went to our normal dentist at eatons hill. Re did the filling with a pin at a cost of 140.00 out of pocket. Do you actually know what you're talking about?

Negative experience: They charge you a fortune for doing nothing

Negative experience: Horrible experience. My daughters first teeth were coming out next to her baby teeth. The dentist tore them out with no anesthetic. My daughter is now terrified of dentists.

Fantastic experience: Very professional, Dr Amol listens to what you want and explains everything clearly. The whole atmosphere of Smiles Dental Care is one of warmth and friendliness, everything is explained well and you know exactly what is going to happen. Dr Amol keeps up to date with technology and keeps abreast of changes. I highly recommended Smiles Dental Care.

Negative experience: Asked if they could take on a new client and got the phone slammed down by a very rude receptionist. AVOID calling these.....

Fantastic experience: Having not been to the dentist in a long time, I was quite anxious and uncertain on how the process would go. My first visit to Smiles however was quite exceptional, the staff were accommodating and professional, I felt comfortable knowing that I was being looked after and everything was explained very well. I highly recommend this clinic for their experience and overall care for their patients. Thank you!
