Fantastic experience: We have been attending this practice for many years. Dr. Darshan is wonderful with our children and very caring. Her approach is gentle and she provides the best possible care for their unique needs. The office staff are always polite and let us know a week in advance when our appointments are coming up. I would definitely recommend this service.

Negative experience: My children previously attended this practice regularly but not anymore. We booked our kids' checkups 6 months in advance and got told only 2 days before the scheduled date they can't honour our two appointments. Then instead of trying to accommodate us for an issue of their own making they insisted on booking us in on dates we already had other appointments. Just a lack of common sense, courtesy and professionalism. It wasn't the first time we've been asked to reschedule due to their mistakes. They charge customers a cancellation fee for not attending their appointment, but it's ok if they decide to cancel a client's appointment. And good luck getting them to answer their phones and getting a call back. Read some of Smile Line Dental's replies to negative Google Reviews. Some very snide and defensive comments to cover up for excuses and shortcomings. Update after they replied to my Google Review: they claimed they left me messages earlier but couldn't reach me. Absolute lies. We got a text message a week prior asking us to confirm our appointment and we responded immediately. I find their feedback to my review astounding - they are openly saying they can prioritise some customers over others without explanation.

Fantastic experience: The whole family see Dr Nate and are soo pleased to have him as our family dentist. Great bedside manners, doesn’t upsell things to fill his own pockets, just tells you how it is. Most importantly, Dr Nate runs on time and is extremely gentle.

Fantastic experience: The best dental clinic in the west! Both Dr Nate and Dr Darshan are professional, highly experienced, gentle and caring dentists. Their dental assistant Zen has also shown great care and attention, helping every experience run smoothly. My children have always had a fear of dentists, but Dr Nate has completely changed that! He has an amazing ability to keep them calm and cooperative during every visit. Always showing such pride and perfection in the quality of his work. I had my first ever root canal treatment with Dr Darshan. She helped me feel calm from the very beginning. Explaining in detail what the treatments will involve, with so much reassurance and comfort. Her high expertise definitely shows in the quality of her work! We will definitely continue visiting Smile Line Dental.

We’ve all received excellent treatment and friendly care, and I find it easy to make appointments even at short notice. Clean practice. I find watching shows on tv screen above the chair whilst having my dental treatments a good distraction. Fees are comparable with others in the area if not better. Lots of parking available. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I have been coming here since they first opened. From the beginning I was seen by Dr Nate he was super friendly thorough and takes his time in which I like and was happy with his service overall. However my last 2 visits with him I noticed he was slacking off rushes his job with the check cleans and filling. My last visit he only spent 15mins on me and this was the check and clean. He started on me at 1705hrs and I was out by 1720hrs. He didn't use any numbing cream which he normally would. I have left the dentist with my teeth not feeling clean and very unhappy. Originally I wasn't going to complain, however I then experienced some sensitivity on my top right molars. I managed to get an appt with Dr Rashan (the boss) have then found one of my top right molar have cavities and needed a filling immediately (something Nate have missed completely). She also found my teeth to be residing which I was not made aware of by Dr Nate. Dr Rashan was okay on that day she refused to do the clean on my teeth and have rebooked me for a filling 2 days later. When I came back for the filling with Dr Rashan she was so rude speaks to me like a child, she was very snappy when I ask her questions about my teeth as for everyone else we have concerns. It was definitely a terrible experience with her and mind you she was the boss. She had no customer care and is not a genuine person. She disregard my concerns and just wanted to get her job done quickly and move onto the next. I paid and thought to myself you have lost me as a client.

Negative experience: I have tried to no avail to get this company to take my family off their system due to the constant text and mail reminders they keep sending. I don’t even remember ever attending here!! Cannot contact them at all - only get an answering service/ which I’ve left messages with but no one ever bothers to respond. Edited to respond: It is not 1 reminder. They started 2 years ago and we get sms reminders for OVERDUE treatments and paper reminders monthly for all family members. We have had a consistent dentist for 6 years. I have NOT booked an appointment with you. As for your phone, it is either engaged or rings to the message person WITHIN business hours! I have left messages detailing what it was in regards to to be told someone would have to call me which no one does. Your messages have no ‘stop’ included in them. It amazes me that you can respond to unwanted negative feedback within minutes but cannot update your database. Even your response to this complaint that at no point was to rectify the situation, clearly shows your arrogance.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nate Tran is hands down the best dentist I have ever seen. You can tell he honestly enjoys what he does for work. He is kind, compassionate and practices without judgement. I particularly love that he explains everything at different points during your appointment and in doing so gains your consent to perform treatments on you. He is particularly great with children, my 6 year old son was so relaxed and at ease during his front teeth extractions this year! He is looking forward to seeing Dr Nate again to watch the TV on the ceiling!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this dental clinic more highly. After quite a rather lengthy time between dental visits, I very nervously booked an appointment with Dr Nate for a check up & some much needed work. I needn't have been nervous or anxious. Nate's patient, calm & friendly manner instantly calmed me, and without hesitation, had a dental plan in place for me to restore my smile. I'm now well on the way to that perfect smile, and no longer fear dental visits. Dr Nina, who also practices at the clinic, has also done some work on me, and like Nate, is very skilled, patient & super friendly. These guys are diligent, professional, great at what they do, and competitively priced. Very highly recommended.

Negative experience: Got charged a cancellation fee, wasn’t made aware of this at the time of booking, I called them 3 and half hours earlier to notify them, I couldn’t make it. Life happens and sometimes you can’t make appointments. There also more expensive for general check ups and cleans, X-rays are not included and are charged per shot. In my opinion, poor policy/management and uncompetitive prices. Edited I appreciate you accomodating me, but being charged a cancel fee without even mentioning it at the time of booking is unfair. It’s not like I didn’t just not show up, I called as soon as I found out I couldn’t make the appointment. Things can happen out of patients control within 24 hours.

Negative experience: $90 cancellation fee, poor policy Whilst Aus is in recession and there’s a bloody pandemic in the world, are these the type of business we should be supporting? Do they have our community in their best interest?! Edited 8/01 Thanks for your reply, please see attached photo, I did indeed enquire about your practice on Wednesday. Cancellations are a part of business it’s no different when people don’t show up to Resteraunt table bookings. I’ve never heard of them charge a debit on next visit. I’m fortunate enough to not have gone through with a booking, I’m simply raising awareness of my experience.

Fantastic experience: For someone who is petrified of the needle I was speechless when after 40 yrs I DID NOT feel the Needle AT ALL!!! Dr Tran was fantastic, reassuring, calm and very informative. I highly recommend anyone who is as afraid of the dentist as I am give them a go, you will not be disappointed.

Negative experience: I went to the clinic with sensitivity in my teeth and Dr Trang did filling for one of my tooth saying it should be ok for good 10 years. He wasn't really sure before starting the treatment but just did it for money.. suggested me 2 tooth extractions too. I wasn't in pain that time but after getting the filling my tooth was sore for a week. I called back and went to see him again a week after but again he wasn't sure of the cause and said I might have to see a root canal specialist or wait for few more weeks and pain will be gone. I saw great reviews and went to their practice but unfortunately my mistake I fell for their reviews. I did call again and asked receptionist to email me my X-rays as I wanted a second opinion but still no one from their clinic gave me a follow up call to see why I am looking for second opinion neither did any other dentist from their clinic cared to follow up. Finally after 2weeks of pain and discomfort I had to visit another dentist with so much pain that had to get my same tooth extracted . Still called Smile line dental to see what can they can do as I had another appointment lined up with them to which I got told only if extraction was done with them it would have been free not my other extractions and no assurance of any discounts or services for the fact that I lost my tooth cause of their dentist not been sure of what treatment I needed to begin with!! A doctor should take responsibility for his wrong treatment .Take your chances if you decide to visit this clinic. Won't recommend it at all.

Fantastic experience: Best visit to the dentist in my whole life. All staff from the point of call making an appointment, to the end of service was excellent. There was miscommunication between us about the confirmation of my first appointment so I had to reschedule. An honest mistake on both sides that I wasnt too fussed about - but they were so apologetic and insisted on a generous discount. I especially love the equipment - xray, camera shots on monitor, comfort of chair; and how all my options were were explained and discussed through out my visit and the complete friendly manner of the staff. I will definitely be going back their soon to address my other problems.
