Negative experience: One dentist there is really bad...talked about her problems to the dental nurse the whole appointment...sloppy dentistry, fillings fell out quickly...she seemed impatient.. I'm now at Dental Logic getting top level treatment...worth it compared to the sloppy work at Valley Dental.

Fantastic experience: I brought my partner here to have his tooth filled and Dr Sonali and Abbey were amazing! He was given the choice to either have it filled or pulled. The girls made sure he was comfortable the whole time and really helped calm his anxiety about needles and the dentist. He said he will come back here for his other tooth in the near future and hopes to have Dr Sonali again. They also have the best prices in the area!

Fantastic experience: The Valley Dental team were very friendly, on time, and offered reasonable prices at both occasions (first for a general check and clean-up, then for a filling). Rupali is a great dentist. She was gentle and communicated clearly during the procedure, always making sure I was comfortable and didn't feel too much pain. She is also the first dentist that offered me to do a filling in a difficult spot where others said they couldn't do anything. I will definitely go back there and highly recommend you give them a go.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sonali is absolutely amazing. I am mortified by the dentist and often need anti-anxiety medication to go, but Dr Sonali makes it feel so comfortable that sometimes I’m okay without. It’s expensive, but the treatment is fantastic! Will be back :)

Fantastic experience: 10/10 best Dentist I have ever been to. I shopped around for months for a dentist that could offer an effective, affordable & pain-free treatment for crooked teeth; Valley Dental were recommended to me and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The brand they use is ‘Smile Styler’ (Australian owned and manufactured here in Melbourne). After a free scan, 100 nervous questions answered (happily) they helped me start my journey! Despite covid delays, the team were always prompt for my check ups and keen to fix anything if my teeth weren’t on track. After a quick 10 months, my teeth were straight, white & healthy. The entire process was pain-free and about $3000 cheaper than other places in the area. It’s not often you come across companies that still have the customers best interest in front, but these ladies wear their heart on their sleeves, love and care for their customers. I recommend this dentist for friendly service, affordability and a genuine experience. Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit at this clinic. I haven't been to the dentist in years and am also quite an anxious patient. Dr Sonali was wonderful and understanding and I'm impressed we discussed all aspects of health and its relation to my dental health. Prompt, professional and caring treatment. For me it was a very positive experience. I highly recommend them and I'll be going back for sure.

Negative experience: I strongly DO NOT recommend Valley Dental. I also caution reliance on positive reviews as the practice offers a 5% discount if the patient leaves a positive review. Prior to booking an appointment I confirmed by email and telephone that the clinic could support severely immune compromised patients. I was reassured that this was possible and that the clinic was COVID safe. Whilst at the clinic not a single staff member was correctly wearing PPE. The only attempts at PPE were masks (two staff were not wearing a mask at all), and I witnessed masks being worn under the nose or under the chin at all times. This included when enthusiastically socialising with other shop staff who were entering multiple rooms at the practice, also not correctly wearing a mask. A dentist later confirmed by telephone that she and the staff “don’t like wearing masks” and that they are only worn while with a patient in a consulting room. It is my understanding that no other PPE is worn, and from what I witnessed masks are not worn correctly and would provide no protection. Staff comfort is prioritised over patient medical safety, including when specific enquiries were made about their management of immune compromised patients. After my appointment was due to have started, I was advised the dentist was “stuck in traffic” and would be 15-20 mins late. I note that the roads local to the clinic had very light traffic at the time, but the dentist may have been coming from further away. After more than 20 minutes waiting for the dentist to arrive, I could hear a staff member whispering on the telephone about me waiting for my 9.30 appointment. It was at this point that I left. The dental practice warns you that if you’re late or miss an appointment you’ll be charged, but they do not offer the same respect in return to their patients. They also choose not to wear PPE “because they don’t like wearing masks” even when they have assured patients the practice would be medically safe during a pandemic.

Fantastic experience: Who ever walks out of the dentist saying ‘now that was a good experience’…my family do every time we walk out of Valley Dental. The sisters are dynamic, friendly and expert in their approach and delivery and the whole team make visiting Valley Dental a pleasure. Thanks ladies!

The ladies here are so great and make you feel so safe and not silly for feeling anxious which is amazing! Couldn’t recommend them more if I tried! Found my forever dentist!
