Negative experience: I do not recommend this practice. It is my opinion that If you are looking for a clinic that puts patients and full patient care first maybe this is not the one.

Fantastic experience: I had Dr Matthew Huynh for my appointment, and the service did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the atmosphere more inviting, and the doctor himself was very understanding and made the process feel less anxious. Sincerely recommend this place and Dr Huynh.

Negative experience: The most terrible experience ever had

Fantastic experience: We saw Dr Barbara today for a couple of decayed teeth for my 9 year old son after visiting 2 other dentists elsewhere (one of which quoted us over 4K for taking out 6 for several reasons, and full anaesthesia). Oh how I wish we'd seen Dr Barbara sooner...! We were able to get the major ones sorted on the same day with much more reasonable treatment plans. (one that actually made sense) Reception staff was also very friendly and professional - our visit was 10 out of 10, A to Z. All those weeks wasted visiting other places....! Will definitely be visiting Primary Dental going forward for any dental treatments for our family!

Fantastic experience: Really great service and support. Admin was friendly and helpful. I get super anxious at the dentist but the doctor was so calm and kept checking in with me. The assistants were kind and efficient too! I’ll be attending regularly now.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t get a chance to fully express how grateful I was to have had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Matthew Huynh. I was very anxious about potential complications, but he was swift and did an excellent job. They also followed up regularly after the procedure. Overall, my experiences have been positive and informative. The dental assistants and receptionists are also wonderful, making it a truly lovely team.

Fantastic experience: I've had a lot of bad experiences with dentists before coming to Primary Dental. Unfortunately it left me a bit sceptical about dentists in general. I still wanted to look after my teeth, so I put up a hail mary and ended up here. Let me tell you this is by far one of the best decisions I've ever made regarding my health. The team here are consistently exceptional at what they do. The communication from the dental receptionist was both professional and pleasant. The dental assistant made me feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout my procedures. Dr Lim did an amazing job both times I visited. I've had extractions, fillings and cleans done and Dr Lim made each of my procedures feel seamless and relatively pain free. The thing I appreciated the most and what set Dr Lim apart for me was the approach to my dental plan. She clearly explained all the work that needed to be done, breaking it down in an easy to understand way while prioritising what was most urgent and what could wait. It made the entire process less overwhelming and more manageable for me. I've had majority of the work I needed in only two visits and it's had a massive impact on my confidence levels. I couldn't recommend this dental practice and its staff enough. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: Dr Emma Lim at Primary Dental Springfield is amazing! I found Dr Lim a couple of years ago after avoiding going to the dentist for years. I see her regularly and trust her skill and care. My teeth have never been looked after so professionally. I feel confident going to the dentist now and highly recommend this surgery.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dental practice we’ve been to. We’ve been coming here for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr Emma and Dr Matthew are super friendly and always make you feel comfortable. My most recent visit was with Dr Emma who explained everything to me in detail and ensured I was well aware of any cost involved. She was also great in making the dentist a fun time for my 2.5 year old who wouldn’t stop talking about how she got her teeth cleaned once we left, she was so excited. All staff are friendly including the dental assistants and the receptionist (sorry I can’t remember all your names) thank you so much for making each dental visit a breeze, especially with my children

Fantastic experience: Dr Emma Lim is the best dentist I have ever seen, she is incredibly skilled, extremely friendly and considerate. She made the whole procedure a breeze and I could not recommend her enough! As someone who has avoided the dentist for years out of fear, I felt absolutely no judgement and no fear! I left feeling extremely well looked after and excited to care for my teeth from here on out. Thankyou Dr Lim, you are incredible!

Fantastic experience: Primary dental is the BEST dentist ever!! I hate going to the dentist but Matthew makes you feel so comfortable and he is very informative throughout the process. He makes it quick, painless and cheap! If you have BUPA they don’t charge you the gap payment - so I got my checkup and clean for free, bonus!!

She can’t wait to go back next week to get her fillings done. Dr Matthew showed me what was going on in her mouth with the camera and clearly explained what our options were. Fantastic experience: Had a great experience today with Matthew at Primary Dental! I’m absolutely petrified of going to the dentist but he made me feel very comfortable. I had my wisdom tooth removed, he was gentle and got the job done nice and efficiently. They were super accommodating and able to get me in this morning without an appointment, reception staff and dental assistant were lovely and easy to deal with. Highly recommend! Negative experience: Hi, i was booked saturday 3:30 pm and take note, , this is properly booked with corresponding confirmed message but when i arrive 25 minuted earlier the dental office is toooo dark. What went wrong. Dr. Mathew. ha ha Ha ha ha very very sad experience. Good luck, Dr. Mathew.

Fantastic experience: This would have to be the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr Matthew was so caring and gentle and I now have no fear of going to the dentist all the staff were very lovely.

Positive experience: I didn't realise I selected one star on this previous posting :/ This was a good dentist, and they were able to fix my chipped tooth. Plus, they are Bupa providers as well. Praise be!

Fantastic experience: As someone who get quite anxious when going to the dentist I am very grateful to Primary Dental Springfielfd and the staff and would definitely recommend Dr Emma Lim. She always checks in to see how I'm doing through out my procedure and always makes the dental process as comfortable as possible. Dr Emma Lim and the staff member are friendly and you are treated with respect. I always like the fact I am given options for treatment and that it can be spaced out. I also like the fact that Dr Emma Lim has open and honest conversations about her recommendations and treatments available. Much respect to you all.

Fantastic experience: If you are afraid to get your wisdom teeth out. You should go see Matthew he is very good

Negative experience: I would not recommend this dentist. I recently went there to get a crown which was long overdue and the dentist suggested I needed 2 more crowns and possibly having all my wisdom teeth removed or have to get new fillings in them which are hard to get to. All this would cost me around $4000. I went to another dentist that was highly recommended to me for another opinion and they said I didn’t need anything further done at this time and to just come for regular check-ups. What a difference and what a crook.

Fantastic experience: If you are new to the area or looking for a dentist in general, I could not speak more highly of Dr Emma Lim and all staff I met at Primary Dental Springfield (located inside Springfield Medical & Dental Centre). I appreciated being able to go over the images taken (x-ray & photos), at the end of the session to visually observe any issues with my teeth & gums. Dr Lim educated me along the way, speaking in layman's terms and was able to offer different solutions to further treatment required in the future.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sally is lovely, such a bubbly dentist and very thorough without un-necessary upsells which some dentists like to push. Prices are great, with little out of pocket for Bupa members.

Negative experience: The reception staff at the dental area is outright rude and disgusting. Extremely poor customer service. Would never ever suggest.

Fantastic experience: Sonia is fantastic, I have had 2 tooth extractions done by her in the chair and she is very careful, professional and good at what she does. She explained the process and aftercare to me so I actually understood what I was required to do. The receptionists in the dentist are also very friendly and approachable too, go out of their way to assist - unlike the ones in the main medical area!
