Fantastic experience: I would absolutely recommend Pelican Waters Bupa Dental,all the staff are great,I love the bright uniforms,they are all so welcoming n Dr Tee is wonderful, she explains everything as she goes n is very caring Dr Tee is an excellent dentist.

Dr Tee has an extraordinary way of making you feel at ease in the dentist chair She lets you know what to expect, plus accommodates any dental nerves... she is thorough and efficient. She also set out my next few visits by priority, then unexpectedly there was a next day follow up by the team to see how I was going, amazing!. I highly recommend this Dental Service, even when you don't like going to the dentist

Fantastic experience: Love the team at BUPA Dental at Pelican Waters! I’ve seen multiple dentists and they’ve all been wonderful and the reception team are always so welcoming and friendly. Most recently I saw Alex to assist with TMJ issues/headaches and he was amazing, going above and beyond to assist in multiple ways - including saving me hundreds of dollars in the process, couldn’t be happier, thank you Alex!

Negative experience: While the Dentists are amazing, the receptionist have literally never got a single appointment right. Each time we would turn up as per day/time arranged and we would be told otherwise or we would "miss" the appointment booked for a time we could never have made nor did we make. In addition, we have also had checks and cleans booked for different appointments and/or a double booking which left the dentist "popping in" for the quick check after the hygienist did the check and still being billed for both appointments. Even the text messages were incorrect and the phone calls reminding us always left us changing times again. I have left this dentist to go to the Kawana Bupa and have never had an issue there. My partner called Pelican Waters today to make an appointment and was informed he could get in so he rushed out to Pelican Waters only to be informed that the receptionist had it wrong and he can go tomorrow. What a waste of time and fuel. I have raised the issues and have mentioned it each time there has been an issue but today is yet again another mistake of the receptionst. I thought it was time to share our experiences as a review. If it was not for the amazing dental staff, we would not be going. Huge stuff around every 6 months. I had been going there for 4 years before I had enough of the unorganised receptionists. I have literally never found it this hard to make an appointment with any other medical practise or salon before. Such a shame as it is letting the dental professional down.

Fantastic experience: My level of dental care has increased significantly since meeting Dr Mariana Leie. She is extremely caring, listens to my needs, and is a great dentist overall. Unlike other dentists that have tried to sell me unnecessary procedures, she truly cares about me and my dental needs. I especially liked the teeth whitening, and her help in protecting my teeth from grinding. I cannot recommend her enough both for “regular” dental care as well as “aesthetic” care. If you’re looking for a caring, professional and skilled dentist that has your best interests in mind, then Dr Mariana Leie is the one you’re searching for.

Fantastic experience: My anxiety level increases just by thinking about dentists and dental procedures. Dr. Mariana Leie however made it a priority to make me feel comfortable and to take her time explaining all steps. Mariana also introduced me to “happy gas” which makes a huge difference for nervous patients like me. She explains everything in detail, is genuinely concerned about my well-being, and provides impeccable care. What I like the most though is that she identified the root cause of my dental problems and carefully crafted a plan to avoid issues in the future. She truly went “above and beyond”.

Fantastic experience: Lovely and friendly staff. It was also so nice to not have to pay a gap fee. BUPA covered the whole two visits I’ve had so far, which included x-rays, a clean, and the next visit was two large fillings. Very satisfied BUPA customer.

Fantastic experience: For personal reasons I had to find a new dentist and decided to go to Bupa, Dental, Pelican Waters. From the very start they have been so understanding of my situation. Maddie, Shay, and all the nurses are superb. Big shout out to the best, and gentlest, Hygienist I have ever seen Ashleigh Cooper. I am now going every 3 months as she is so good. Having just had my first 2 crowns fitted by Dr Scott Heather, I have to say I have nothing but praise for him. I was very nervous but he put me at ease and did not make me feel silly for being that way. He was patient and explained everything he did. I have had one other dentist that was that good and finding another was always going to be tough and emotional for me. Thankfully this dentist, hygienist and the whole practise delivers the best service. If it let me score you 12 out of 10 - I would do that!!

Fantastic experience: The best experience I’ve had with a dentist in Queensland! For someone who really hates to go to the dentist like myself, that’s your place! Dr Mutaz Farjian is very professional, he gets the job done very smoothly with always making sure that you are feeling comfortable. All the team was very friendly and helpfully too.
