Fantastic experience: My last cleaning was done in Hong Kong when I went back, so I was a bit wishy-washy about seeing a dentist here. I was also a little embarrassed because I have a lot going on in my mouth in my late 20s — one bridge, one crown, and a few missing teeth (actually three, including the one under my bridge). But I didn’t feel judged at all — everyone was really nice and just focused on helping me with my teeth. Susanne was my hygienist and Dr. Morrison did my check-up. Both were super gentle and professional. The best part was Susanne talked me through what I’ve been doing correctly and what I haven’t, showing me in the mirror so I can be aware of it in the future. She also kept reassuring me that I’ve actually been taking good care of my teeth, which made me feel much less embarrassed. Even though I know my dental problems, I also have a budget — and I felt totally comfortable asking for a quote and letting them know. Don’t feel ashamed to talk about money! For me, it really felt like a big step to take care of my teeth. Dr. Morrison recommended I take care of another urgent issue first instead of the crown I thought should be done, which I really appreciated. Dental assistant Holly was super nice too! She made me feel very relaxed, and even though she was busy helping with x-rays and assisting Susanne, she was always friendly and attentive. (She was wearing the really cute teeth earrings today!) The highlight for me at the end of the appointment was the warm towel — it felt so nice and completely freshened me up. So glad I came here for my first cleaning in Australia!

Fantastic experience: There is no better dental practice. Wr're so lucky to have Dr Kam. She and everyone at Medland take such detailed care in every way, and yet time passes very quickly both in the chair and in the lounge. All the top equipment is right here too at their fingertips, including the crown lab. The service they provide an the kindness everyone shows is second to none. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I've been to a few dentists before, and some experiences weren't great, but Medland Dental in Annerley was a real game-changer for me. The service was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The receptionist welcomed me warmly, offered a hot drink, and even found a private spot for me to wait-such a thoughtful touch! The dentist was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, picking up on issues that other dentists had completely missed. The whole experience was so smooth and light, totally breaking the usual horror stories you might expect from a dental visit. If you're looking for a great dentist who truly cares and provides outstanding service, I highly recommend Medland Dental. They really are the best!

I was privileged to see Dr. Morrison, who is outstanding - an exceptional human and health professional. Dr. Morrison and his assistants are masters of their craft, and their pride in delivering a gold-standard experience is evident. They genuinely care about their patients' experiences and outcomes. I love that they are an independent dentist—one of few remaining in Brisbane, meaning I received advice in my best interests, not the health fund's! One of Medland's strengths is putting nervous patients entirely at ease. I have already recommended this practice to friends who have also had excellent experiences. If you need a new dentist because you haven't been for years or are looking to make a change, I couldn't recommend this practice more highly.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Medland Dental and Dr Ian Morrison more! I hadn't seen the dentist in too long and knew I likely needed some work done. I visited Medland's on a recommendation and from the minute I got there I felt extremely well cared for. Everything is done with the patient in mind. Dr Ian was fantastic through the process, understanding and gave me options for treatment. When I returned to get fillings, the blankets, ability to listen to music and happy gas made the almost 2 hour treatment fly past. At Medland's they genuinely care for you and allow the time to work with you (no asking questions with tools in your mouth!) to find realistic solutions to ensure you teeth are the healthiest they can be. I can't recommend them, and in particular Dr Ian Morrison, enough!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Ian Morrison for a few months now. I had issues with grinding and fractured some teeth and required a number of fillings. We developed a plan to treat priority issues and prevent further ones developing. Ian and all the staff are super friendly yet professional and make you feel very comfortable. I surprised myself looking forward to chilling out in the chair!

Fantastic experience: About 30 years ago I was going to a dentist for basic dentistry. This dentist said I had a problem with grinding my teeth and so sent me to Medland Dental, a clinic that handles Basic and Specialist Treatment. I've been going to Medland Dental ever since. Dr Yang is now my dentist at Medland Dental and I must say he is extremely competent, has excellent qualifications and I feel at ease with him whether the job is big or small. Fantastic experience: There are a lot of impressive ads around for dental practices but Medland is the real thing. You get a genuine welcome, attention and sincere patient care. The staff are lovely. I had my teeth examined in the UK and the dentist said that the dental work from Medland was "the best I have seen" and "your dental work is perfect" - "you should be proud of crowns like those." She told me that 4 years after having this dental work done it was "in perfect order" and only needed hygienist support. An outstanding dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Medland dental for several years now and highly recommend this dentist, and I regularly do refer friends and family to this practice. All the staff are very friendly and considerate, and the practice itself is immaculate. My dentist specifically is Dr Yang - he takes time to explain the details of procedures and reasons for these, and is a perfectionist in his work. Dr Yang provides recommendations for my dental plan, and while I've always felt comfortable in making my own decisions i have trust in his recommendations and i am always happy afterwards and often surprised about how good my teeth now look. Prior to Medland i was (stereo)typically anxious about dentists but i feel very confident now days.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Medland Dental for almost ten years and I highly recommend a visit, if you’re looking for a good dentist. In fact I have recommended people and they’re happy too! The service is next level and everything is done on site, including implants and dentures. Particular mention to the amazing Dr Morrison, who is growing a small fan base, thanks in part to me. He is the best. If you’re scared of needles, he is the best. All staff from welcome to goodbye, are absolutely fantastic and the level of service is very high. I can’t recommend enough to come here for the best dental care ever.

As noted by others, this is not the cheapest practice, but as with many things, you get what you pay for.

Fantastic experience: The staff demonstrate obvious enthusiasm for their work. They demonstrate the thoroughness of their examinations and scope of their clinical knowledge when they take the time to explain what they have found and the course of the treatment prescribed. The admin staff seem willing to go the extra distance to ensure the experience is easy and pleasant. The cost may be higher than other dentists, but I feel I received value for money. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: An amazing Dental practice! Customer service is outstanding and the facilities there are second to none. For those that aren't usually keen for a trip to the dentist, they offer a range of solutions to help ease those nerves (happy gas / listen to music). Positive experience: Medland Dental is by far the best dental practice I have been to. I have to say I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews that suggested a place that could make going to the dentist dare I say it a 'fun' experience existed - but it seems to be true!!. I was looking for a new dentist as I had recently moved - so I took to google to find a hopefully friendly dental practice with a good reputation. I found Medland Dental and ended up with the 'infamous' Dr Ian Morrison as my dentist. He got to work setting up a plan to address my dental concerns and issues and I have to say his work is truly amazing. I have had many fillings and have never felt better after a filling - it must be down to Dr Morrison's skills - not to mention the support staff and dental assistants (I'm sure the happy gas helps too). I still receive compliments about how good my teeth are looking from work colleagues. Its the little extra touches that add up to make Medland Dental so different to ordinary dental practices - they seem to go the extra mile to ensure patient comfort and wellbeing before, during and after any treatment. They really do look after you on every level at Medland Dental. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team and Dr Morrison at Medland Dental !

Fantastic experience: Medland Dental has changed my view and my experience on dentistry from a negative to a positive. I have just finish having a root canal and a crown done on my front tooth, as I have now learnt one of the hardest tooth to work on. The first time I had it all done at another dentist after I had an accident I had no idea what treatment I was getting as I didn't have a clear treatment plan that was given to me or options that I could choose from. The difference from my old crown and root canal to my new crown and root canal is outstanding! I couldn't completely smile because of the bad colouring of the tooth. The quality of work AND the exceptional knowledge and options I was given for all my treatment was so reassuring and put my mind at easy. The few major points that took me back in how exceptional Medlands is, was time that as taken to get the best possibly colour with internal bleaching from the root canal with our Endodontic specialist, the time that was taken with our onsite lab to get the perfect shade colour of my final crown on the day of it being put on.  I also had huge phobia of needles and the fact that Medlands has gas complimentary for all dental procedures was a dream come true for me. I do work at Medlands as of June 2017, so just ask me when you come in, I would love to share my experience with you!  Thank you to my amazing colleagues and outstanding Dentist I have the pleasure of working with and who have made my smile much brighter.

Negative experience: Nice people, shame about their pricing and recommendations. Why do they push you off to a hygienist for cleaning? I've just had my teeth cleaned by the principal dentist at another practice and there was no pain whatsoever even though it had been years since my last clean. Always painful at Medland. Why do they always say you need another crown? My new dentist wondered why an amalgam filling was covered up with a crown when it could have been replaced with a composite resin filling which would not have put stress on the tooth. Every time I went here I was told "those teeth need to have crowns put on them". Sorry, not coming back. I've found someone who doesn't want to do the most expensive treatment first.

Fantastic experience: Everything about Medland Dental is first class. The service from the support staff is the best you will find anywhere, in any any industry. The service provided by the Dentists (in my case Dr. Ian Morrison) and the experienced team of dedicated Hygienists has exceeded all of my expectations. They are reasonably priced, flexible with appointments and overall an absolute pleasure to deal with. Highly Recommended

Fantastic experience: I used to be so afraid of the Dentist and didn't go for about 10 years. Then when I absolutely had to go, a friend recommended Medland. They are so caring and welcoming and really put my fears at ease. The staff are always friendly and positive, the centre has a great atmosphere. I've been having treatments for over 10 years now and the quality of work goes hand in hand with their excellent personal service.

Positive experience: This dentist may have a good reputation and are definitely fantastic at providing the best treatment for your Dental requirements. Unfortunately, they are also extremely expensive. My partner is in the process of having orthodontic treatment which has so far cost over $12k and is to have his braces removed next week. He has now been advised he has to pay an extra $1500.00 for retainers?? WTH?I would have thought this would be all inclusive in the treatment plan? My advice, get quotes and ask questions before agreeing to any major work being done. I estimate my partner will have overpaid in the region of $5k once they're finished with him! Not saying their work is bad, just the pricing. Buyer beware!

Fantastic experience: Dr Morrison Is the perfect mix of dentist you didn’t think existed. Not only is he a perfectionist in his work, he also brings knowledge and a gentle nature which puts you at ease. My partner was referred to Dr Morrison by his Periodontist after years of going through various, and at times debilitating surgeries. Within His first consultation, Dr Morrison took a holistic approach to find the genetic reason behind my partners troubles, solving the root cause within minutes. No more surgeries for my partner!! Since then I too have had the pleasure of Dr Morrison being my dentist. He found (after I had been told by numerous dentists they didn’t exist) I had all four wisdom teeth. He replaced fillings which felt like smooth bath tubs that were not yet 2 years old, but cracked and leaking with new ones. They form the companion shape to my upper teeth fitting them exactly! I honestly cannot recommend Dr Morrison enough. I have to also point out that the staff are always lovely and helpful too. Win, Win.

Fantastic experience: Medland dental is by far the best dental practice I've ever been to in my life. Dr. Ian Morrison has turned me from someone who hated everything about the dentist to now where I actually LOOK FORWARD to going. Never in my life did I think that was even a possibility. The staff are super professional, the place itself is nice and fancy looking and you get treated nearly too well that it's overwhelming. High recommend this practice, if you're on the fence- book a session here. You won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Dr Andrew Paddison has been my dental surgeon for the last 15 years. For me going to the dentist was never a happy experience. However, the staff at Medland Dental Centre go out of their way to make a trip to the dentist, if not pleasurable, at least as non-threatening and pleasant as possible. What impresses me the most is that when I walk into the practice, the receptionists know me. This immediately puts me at ease. I am offered a cold drink or a cup of coffee. If I forget my iPad, I can use the ones supplied while I wait. Andrew is also very caring and, best of all gentle. I am happy to say he is also an excellent practitioner. On my last visit for a chipped tooth, I was horrified to see how badly chipped my front teeth had become. Nothing hides from that camera! I thought I would need both teeth crowned. However, Andrew was able to work his magic and when I left the surgery I had two front teeth that looked like new! Thanks Andrew! Thanks everyone at the practice. Janet Jedroszkowiak

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of MDC for 7 years. During this time I have always been impressed with the professionalism of all the staff. Every time I arrive for my appointment I am warmly welcomed by the reception staff. The Dentist always comes out to greet me and then proceeds to advise what he is about to do. Even if an injection is necessary it is pain free. The Hygienists always provide an extremely thorough service.

Fantastic experience: I've never been to a dentist pracitise like this before. Incredibly wlecoming staff, calming and super comfortable environment - and great results. I couldn't have been more pleased with my visit last week and would happily recommend Medland to anyone looking for a better experience from their dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Medland Dental Centre now for 4 years, and I have regular appointments now, I have seen a few of the dentists there and even a few of the ladies in there hygiene department, everyone that I have seen is great. I remember feeling really nervous before I started going to see them but at every appointment that I attend they make sure that I feel comfortable, and feel at ease. They have an iPod with headphones that help block out the noise of the dental drills & have Happy Gas that just makes the experience just that little bit easier for me, my wife is also happy that we have found a dental surgery that I will continue going back to, I always find the staff at Medland dental centre to be extremely helpful & caring I wouldn’t even dream of going anywhere else now and I think I can speak on behalf of my wife too as we are both really happy.

Fantastic experience: Large centre with all equipment in house and very professional staff. They certainly go the extra mile to make you comfortable and are very flexible when it comes to scheduling appointments and working with your finances :) They are more expensive but IMO worth it. I had a root canal done by a solo dentist that fell apart and had to be repaired by Medland, the difference in treatment and results was quite obvious.

Negative experience: Horribly overpriced.
