Fantastic experience: Dr Sophie Nguyen is very professional, she helped me remove my wisdom teeth very quickly and made sure that I didn't feel any pain before the removal. I let them know that I have sensitive teeth before teeth cleaning and they made sure that my sensitive teeth didn't hurt. Wait times are not too long, never waiting more than 10mins. Their dental equipment is simple (not as advanced as another dentist I've been to), but gets the job done.

Negative experience: Avoid at All Costs! THIS IS ZERO STAR We are utterly disappointed with the service we received from this dentist. Not only did she display a lack of professionalism and arrogance, but she also failed to complete the job she started. After promising to address my wife's dental issue, she left the treatment unfinished, leaving her in discomfort and frustration. It's unacceptable to leave a patient in limbo without completing the necessary work. This level of negligence and unreliability is simply unacceptable. Steer clear of this dentist unless you want to deal with incomplete treatments and disappointment.

Negative experience: If i could i would give this clinic 0 Stars! BEWARE! This dentist is very unprofessional. I attended this clinic to get a root canal done, I only wanted to get a quote at first but the dentist, Sophie suggested she can take away the pain by removing the nerve straight away which i accepted and agreed to go ahead with the treatment. A day later the pain came back so i went back to her with my sister and while the dentist was knocking on my tooth to see if im feeling pain my sis made a remark saying "did we get the right tooth". From this comment "Dr" Sophie took offence that she questioned her profession. My sis just made a very simple and innocent comment which she did not mean to hurt or be offensive in any way. But later that day the dentist messaged me saying if you want you can go ahead with the treatment which i was because i had a appointment booked with her already or she suggested i can go to a specialist or another dentist. So for my piece of mind i requested for a referral so i could get a quote from a specialist too. After getting a quote from the specialist i decided to go with Dr Sophie as the specialists cost was out of my budget. When I requested Dr Sophie for an appointment she suggested i go see another dentist, I advised her that no other dentist is ready to take upon a job that has already been started by another dentist. I had requested multiple times to Dr Sophie to complete my treatment but she said go see another dentist and that she's not comfortable to do my treatment and when i called her she ignored my calls. Now I'm left with an incomplete dead tooth. Along with the education she received she should have learnt how to be a professional too. I really hope she does not do this to anyone else.

Negative experience: Unprofessional, arrogant, and appalling service. Likes to provide expensive options for simple routine procedures. Does not explain why I need x-ray for my whole mouth when I only have have pain in one tooth. Will mislead you into believing you need more work than what is needed, she will not outwardly lie, but will make snide comments and lead you make health decisions that benefits her more financially. For someone who has worked in the industry for 25+ years, her behavior, professionalism and attitude is beyond the pale. Criticizing and insulting someones previous dental work history done by other Australian educated and qualified dentists because she felt insecure about her abilities is arrogant to the extreme. Hopefully, she has accrued enough money and will move on so more caring and competent dentists can move in and replace her. But judging by her years of experience and lack of patient care, she will probably be still scamming unsuspecting people. She is an example of health professional who looks at your wallet before asking about your health issues. Her attitude towards patients is clearly written on the permanent scowl she has on her face. Dr Sophie Thuy Nguyen - AVOID.

Negative experience: After recently speaking with a dental surgeon in regards of your malpractice and deliberately drilling into numerous of my healthy teeth over the past 10 years I will be proceeding to contact in writing the Dental Board of Australia I an still experiencing problems to this day and can barely eat due to numerous missing teeth. Ill be contacting and writing to The dental board of Australia this week it's time you do what's right, you'll be sued and be paying for partial dentures Or Maybe implants after The dental board investigates. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr Sophie Nguyen for many years now and I can not say enough how professional and great her services are. I recently got my teeth cleaned and once again she has done an amazing job. She was gentle and detailed. She was also explaining what i should be doing to maintain healthy teeth and how to do it. The staff here is also very helpful, accomidating and caring. I really appreciate her service and advice in addition to the team working here and would recommend if anyone needs a dentist they should come here.

Fantastic experience: I went to Dr Sophie for a cleaning and check up for my teeth and she is very professional and despite being short on time she still kindly answered the questions i had concerning my teeth. During the process of cleaning my teeth i can tell she work gently and thoroughly and I didn't feel any pain when cleaning my teeth. Fantastic experience: From my experience, this is the best dental clinic in NSW. I travel from the Central Coast regularly, just to have my teeth checked by this friendly team led by Sophie. They take care to check my teeth thoroughly, minimise any pain with treatment, and charge the bare minimum. I strongly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Needed a dentist urgently as my wisdom tooth was bothering me. I was fortunate enough to have been seen same day, literally within mins of making an appointment and getting off the phone with the very vibrant receptionist Lily. Dr Sophie, is very professional and patient, not only did she assist with my wisdom tooth but also gave me advice on other issue's. Such a quick and pain free service, as for the price it was fairly reasonable. Initially it was only me visiting the dentist, but as I had my 2 younger children with me, Dr Sophie insisted to give them their first check up. My sons already looking forward to his next visit here, so glad to have come across this place!

Cleaning is gentle but thorough and they make sure you are as comfortable as possible and Valinca gave me great advice on how to best take care of my teeth. Highly recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: I came here for general checkup and clean and found that I had gum disease . That explained why my gum were bleeding when I brushed my teeth. I took more 2 visits for perio treatment. It was little sore but really gave remarkable effectiveness after that. My gum stopped bleeding. My teeth are stronger . My breath is fresh. I come back every 6 months for checkup, cleaning and review my gum. My gum continues keeping healthy after treatment over one year. Thank Valinca a lot for your gentle, careful and hard working on my gum and my oral health. Also thank Dr. Sophie helped me with beautiful bridge on my front teeth. It makes me more confident when smiling. Thank receptionists for your always warmly welcoming.

Fantastic experience: My family has been with her for many years. My gum usually were bleeding when i brushed my teeth. She referred me to a specialist and he fixed the problem. She always look after my family and always give good advice. Thank you Dr Sophie and her team.

Negative experience: if you dont speak their language dont go. 1st time walk-in...Waited 2 hrs and the receptionist allow another patient jump queue speaking in their own language.

Fantastic experience: I first came here to clean my teeth then realised that I needed to pull my wisdom teeth out after seeing an x-ray. Dr Sophie is a very skilled dentist who outlined the procedure to me and the dangers it involves. My teeth were growing horizontally so she said it was better to remove it asap. During the procedure, I experienced very minor pain and Dr Sophie would continually ask me if I was in pain to stop. It was very quick to remove both my wisdom teeth. In fact she pulled my top one in a second whilst my bottom one required a few dissections.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been using Sophie for some years now. Originally I used a dentist in Rose Bay who was very expensive and hurt a great deal. I don't know how she does it but she keeps pain to a minimum, sometimes even without injections. I have had a bridge and a cap and I'm delighted with her work. Also I don't have a lot of money, her fees are very reasonable, sometimes my health fund covers 100%. I feel that those that critisize her can't have been there as she is an outstanding dentist. Her receptionist is efficient and too the point. If you think that's rudeness you need to realise she is busy. Not rude!

Negative experience: Total scam, becareful. Sophie used to be ok, but now is only in it for the money. She will scam you becareful. They will ask for consultation fee and then a exorbitant x-ray fee before disclosing how much it can cost to pull your tooth. And she charge a lot now... That's $110 all up before you can find out how much it cost to pull your tooth out. Avoid this practise at all cost, I should've listen to previous comments.

Fantastic experience: I visit this place months ago when I feel bad smell on my teeth, she come and have my tooth check, so I found that I have a wisdom teeth. She do remove it in a second with no pain at all, I was surprised with her skill, fast and clean and the cost is acceptable.

Negative experience: Been here a few times with my son and the service was terrible, the receptionists are the most rudest people you can the ever find and the dentist likes to rip you off with unnecessary check ups. They did a filling for me WHICH CAME OUT IN LESS THAN 12 HOURS LATER! Will never go there/trust the people there again. Then when the dental hygienist finished she asked whether I would like a fluoride treatment. I would've said no but her exact words were "it's free". Not that you get 100% back, but it's free. When paying, they ran my medibank private card through and billed them for a checkup plus fluoride treatment plus the cleaning (which was all I wanted.) They then made a separate manual invoice to me which ONLY mentions the cleaning. So the dental practice scammed Meduibank private financially and me morally for fluoride treatment and checkup. I went for a regular check-up with a neighbourhood dentist and to have my fillings checked out. The dentist did not bother looking into my teeth and advised that I needed an XRAY for 14 'cavities'. I've got no pain in any of my teeth so I thought this was weird. She then proceeds to say each of those cavities need to be filled ($175 each)! She mentions that such procedures are for 'pre-cautionary measures'. But it's a load of crap, it's purely about the profit. Regrettably being incredible ignorant about health issues I went for 3 fillings for teeth which were deemed most a risk. All up the procedure cost me $634. My gut feelings were telling me this was wrong. A week later I visited a ADA associated dentist who said those cavities can be naturally healed by the tooth itself so long as I made some diet changes and made sure to keep a proper cleaning regime. They were so small that fillings were unnecessary. So I basically had fillings done for nothing! I cannot take the fillings out as my teeth cannot go back to their pre-treatment state since the enamel has been drilled off. I beseech you all to be careful of dental practices and preferably seek an ADA associated dentist. Dentist then shows up and spends less than one minute doing a quick look in my mouth. So I get charge a "check-up fee" for this. Then when the dental hygienist finished she asked whether I would like a fluoride treatment. I would've said no but her exact words were "it's free".
