Negative experience: I went to this dentist approximately 3 years ago for a clean. I also had some xrays taken which I was not shown. I was told I required 2 fillings done urgently. My teeth were not causing me any issues so I cancelled the booking they had given me. Recently I have just been to a different dentist and they took xrays and cleaned my teeth. They were very professional and showed me the xrays. My teeth are perfect and do not require any fillings. Make sure you get a second opinion if you use this dentist.

After reviewing your X-rays, our professional opinion was that two fillings were advisable to ensure the long-term health of your teeth. It is important to note that dental X-rays are two-dimensional images, while cavities are three-dimensional. In many cases, the actual extent of decay can be larger than what appears on the X-ray. Our recommendation was made with your best interest in mind - to prevent potential future problems and to be on the safe side.

Negative experience: As a pensioner who had to use the 'dental cheque' from the government. I was surprised to have a rotted tooth filled in (should've come out)but as I was ushered out I was told if there's any problem with infection to come back but first get another cheque! It all happened soo quickly. In the chair & out the door within 20mins. It's easier to fill it in than out & I was still left with a bad tooth. Can always tell the ones %100 in it for the cash the way they treat the less fortunate.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency with my tooth on Easter public holiday and George came in to fix the problem promptly. I don’t usually enjoy going to the dentist but he made it very comfortable and my tooth has never looked better. I have definitely found my new dentist, a perfectionist with good taste in music.

Negative experience: Please read other 1 star reviews, it will save your life!! (I should have read that review before wasting money and jeopardizing my health). Dentist is a butcher and money driven and caused gum infection like other patients with 1 star reviews. On the phone, they quoted me maximum cost for gum infection $180-220 but it actually costed me $300. Dentist didn’t even do any X-ray checkup. He didn’t treat gum infection but crazily drilled the entire my teeth which caused enamel damage and causing big gaps on my front teeth. I felt something fallen on my tongue and almost swallowed because he didn’t do any suction while he scaling my teeth and my gum infection was untreated and spread to other side teeth which ended up my jawline and neck nerve. He put numbing injection to my lips(yeah not gum but on my lips) when he did half away through scaling cuz my body was trembled with shocking pain, he injected it to my lips!! It got worst overnight and when I explained my condition, they advised me to extract 2teeths without even x-ray checkup!!! Another dentist from other clinic located in maroubra that I visited for gum infection, it only costed me $198 including x-ray checkups and gum infection treatment which was so effective and I was recovered overnight!!! Do not trust 4-5 star reviews- it must have written with paid reviewers! I arrived there 10min earlier but had to wait 30min. My review is from purely my experience! I had to take a day off at work due to infection and had to see my another dentist!!! What a wasting money and time. Plus almost jeopardising my health. Don’t waste $300 with unprofessional money driven dentist !!! After his treatment, I got 3-4 gaps On my front teeth which requires another cosmetic treatment to fill unexpected gaps due to his drilling. Horrific experience by being butchered. Update: my another dentist confirmed that enamel of my 3-4 front teeth were damaged significantly due to the drilling deep cleaning from maroubra junction dental center and they also caused the gaps on my front teeth which requires filling. Gum infection was fully treated by my another dental clinic with very reasonable cost.

This is a very unfair review. The price you were quoted over the phone of course was a general price for check-up, clean and x-rays however as you were made aware, you were diagnosed with a different periodontal condition which required a different treatment (with different price) which you agreed to. You were advised to wait 2-3 days post treatment to see if the treatment was effective and you rushed to the conclusion the treatment was ineffective the day of and decided to write a negative review. In terms of taking x-rays, as you were made aware, you had an obvious abscess which could be seen with the naked eye so the dentist felt it would be unnecessary to expose you to radiation for no reason. Also, for you to say our reviews are paid for is completely ludicrous and uncalled for. We have been servicing the local community for over 15 years and treated thousands of patient who have left happy.
All in all, i am sorry your experience with us was unpleasant but i advise you to follow the treatment plan advised to you by the dentist as opposed to rushing to conclusions and if you have any problems, we are more than happy to see you.

Fantastic experience: Was very nervous about a wisdom tooth extraction but John was very good at keeping me calm. Had the tooth removed within minutes and the best part is I had zero pain whatsoever after the removal was done. Not even a panadol needed. Not sure why I avoided having it removed for so long. Negative experience: I have anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. I went here and he completely stuffed up a filling.( food keeps getting caught and it’s a struggle to get floss in and out). I went to another dentist who said it was down poorly and would cost $350 to fix. When I went back to have it fixed he said there was nothing wrong with it and didn’t try and attempt anything to fix or help the situation. I am in discomfort constantly. I highly recommend that you DONT visit this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Finally! A dentist that understands my dental phobia. Dr Arzani and his staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable before, during and after my procedure. I can confidently bring the rest of my family here and know they are in safe & professional hands.

Negative experience: Came in there and came out within 10 minutes, he rushed the dental cleaning session without care about my gum, pressed hard and it was hurting a lot, 2 days later my mouth has 5 or more ulcer spots because of the rough polishing he did later on without care for my gums. This guy is all about money absolutely will not come back, The first time i came here was 2 years ago, it was fine, now whoever the guy is rough and seemed to just want to hit his quota and go home. Go at your own risk
Negative experience: I went there a couple of times and tried to do everything in one visit due to distance from work. John tried to keep me coming back for multiple visits at a cost each time. Maybe a little over servicing.
Negative experience: Absolutely terrible dentist. Arzani isn't clean or professional. He drilled my teeth so much there were massive gaps between all my teeth, what a nightmare!! The staff lack professionalism and are tacky talking about their daily life over me and not dressing appropriate. DO NOT RISK THIS DENTAL CENTRE! Absolutely shocking.

Fantastic experience: I am highly impressed with the quality of service and reasonable price in this dental practice, the dentist is very experienced and develops good personal relationship with his patients. i have finally found a dentist i would be happy to send my children to.
Fantastic experience: A very rare visit to the dentist for me. The dentist, John, was very gentle and quick with my clean/polish and filling. Very nice staff too. I wouldn't normally recommend a dentist as they completely freak me out (and I rarely go anyway).... but this one is my new go-to-man for teeth stuff.
