Negative experience: I contacted this clinic and was very clear from the beginning that I am an adult with retained baby teeth and that I wanted to know whether composite bonding could be done. I specifically asked whether this was something the dentist could do. I was told to come in and see the dentist and that they do bonding, but that they could not confirm details over the phone. I then asked about X-rays, as I understood imaging would be required to decide whether bonding was possible. I was first told that an X-ray would be an extra cost and that I would have to pay for it. When I questioned this and asked whether I could have the X-ray done elsewhere, I was told that it would cost money everywhere and that I could not get it done for free. After I continued asking questions, this explanation changed. I was then told that I should come to the clinic, see the dentist first, and that they could give me a referral for external imaging, which would be free. I asked if this referral could be provided without attending, and I was told no I needed to come in. Based on this, and the understanding that the dentist would assess me for bonding and arrange the necessary referral, I agreed to come and paid the consultation fee. At the clinic, no X-ray was taken, no referral was given, and imaging was not even offered. Instead, I was given lengthy explanations about treatment options I had never asked for, including braces, veneers, implants, bridges, and dentures. When I repeatedly brought the discussion back to bonding, I was told clearly and repeatedly that bonding is not done on baby teeth and only on adult teeth. This made it clear that bonding was never a real option. When I questioned this further, the explanation changed again from “we don’t do bonding on baby teeth” to “your baby teeth are not stable,” despite the movement being minimal and despite no X-ray or objective assessment being performed. Key information changed depending on what I questioned. It was also stated that even if another dentist were to do bonding, it would not last and could come off quickly, and for that reason this clinic would not do it. The wording and reasons kept changing, but the answer was always no. Had I been told upfront that bonding on retained baby teeth is not a treatment this clinic offers or supports, or that no imaging or referral would actually be provided, I would not have attended or paid the consultation fee. The issue is not that the answer was no it is that I was encouraged to attend and pay based on shifting information and expectation that was never met. I was given inconsistent and misleading information. I recommend Clear, honest communication at the booking stage would prevent patients from wasting time and money on consultations for treatments that are never going to be offered.

Negative experience: I highly will never recommend this dental clinic, I was not happy with the final outcome of my teeth so she refused to see me or even rectify the issue. Not professional in my personal experience. I strongly believe that aphra and the HCC should be looking into her professionalism. To answer your reply, You had multiple chances to resolve the issues and rectify the problem. My dental work was never put on hold for 2 months, your statement is incorrect as i started treatment in the beginning of april and my ended by the end of may. Your aim was to hurry and finish the job. When i sat in the dental chair and told you i was not happy, the only response I got was extremely brutally rude i mentioned to you many times I was unhappy with the shade as I was paying you thousands of dollars and I wanted you to fix the issues with the lab, but instead you gave me the labs number and had me deal with them directly and you refused to do any further work. Si please don't try to mislead any one with false accusations about your aim is to cater for your patients cause you surely didn't try to rectify any issues with me.

She has been so caring all through my treatment and even called me a few times to see if my pain had gone away. As a patient, you can feel it that she is genuinely concerned about your treatment and doing this work out of passion and not to grab just money like many other dentists I’ve come across. Fantastic experience: I am attending PROSMILE DENTAL since Dec20. I find Dr Hina GOHIL to be dedicated, personable, efficient, & to the point. I find her very down to earth & common-sense. She very capably takes in the concerns of the individual person & responds appropriately & realistically. She is not there everyday of the week as she also attends a clinic in Harris Park. Dr Payal Mate who I have also seen, attends both clinics also. They are a fairly busy clinic, but run very efficiently & I have never felt rushed. ProSmile Westmead Clinic is in a small centre, on the main street, with flats above. Nearby are some shops including a barber shop. There is quite good parking outside, but in high demand, & it is opposite a petrol station. A Parramatta to Blacktown 700 Bus 1 mt walk, runs every 30mts from cnr of Church St & Hawkesbury Rd. ProSmile entry door is accessible for Disabled, & the waiting room small but very comfortable. Toilets outside unsuitable for disabled. There is (limited staff &) no Ans Mach. If they are not able to answer the phone Dr Hina Gohil's capable Dental Assistant will generally contact you back on a missed call as soon as they are able to between appointments, so there is no need to keep ringing. Having attended Dentists over many decades I have had better success with Dentists that are self employed in their own business compared to Dentists that are employed on a set salary. Dr Hina Gohil is the very capable owner of her business.

Fantastic experience: I have visited multiple times now and the service is prompt and professional. I felt I was in safe experienced hands and the results have been great every time. At my first consultation, photos and X-rays were taken and discussed together so I was able to understand what exactly needed to be done to prevent further decay in multiple cavities that were found, including under existing amalgam fillings. They took the time to touch up and polish the new fillings so that my bite felt completely comfortable. I am back to being able to freely chew my food without the growing sensitivity I had become accustomed to when eating. To top it off I was pleasantly surprised that the experiences have not put too big a “cavity” in my bank account either. Two thumbs up from me for satisfied service and affordability. Negative experience: Pretty disappointed overall. I booked myself in for a consult for braces but didnt get told about there being a fee of any sort. After the consult that the dentist told me that the consult fee was 65 dollars. I said that because I wasnt told of any fee, I thought first visits were complementary. (Many dentists offer a complementary first time visitation) Instead of acknowledging that perhaps I should have been informed, the dentist said, 'you've been in Australia for a while, you should know this'. A pretty unnecessary and condescensing comment. All in all, poor communication plus quite expensive compared to other dentists.
