Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Dr Sakinah highly enough! She was the fourth dentist I saw for a stubborn tooth issue I’d been dealing with for almost a year. While the others couldn’t get to the bottom of it, Dr Sakinah quickly identified the real problem — a failed filling — and replaced it on the spot. My tooth has been perfect ever since. She’s thorough, professional, and clearly cares about her patients.

The Vietnamese lady with him I think her name is May, rubbed and held my hand when I was getting an injection and saw I was sweating so wiped my forehead for me, what a kind gesture, the Irish front desk lady is also very kind. Fantastic experience: I've been going to the Marmion Dental Care for a number of years now. It's been run by a new dentist in the last 2 or 3 years. It is an excellent dentist and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it. I have regular cleans and in the last 2 years have had a filling replaced as well as two crowns. All excellent with no issues. The prices are competitive. My wife and I are so appreciative that we have a great dentist in our local community.

He's very obliging, has very reasonable fees and doesn't try and sell you treatments that you may not need. If it's possible to have a pleasant dental experience, a visit to Marmion Dental is about as close as you can get. Really good service and quality work. When Dr Farham opened this Dental practice I was very pleased as I was previously seeing him at another Dental clinic in Hillarys. Dr Farham has the gentlest touch and is very aware of his patients and their problems, he caters for each and every patient individually and remembers all their nervousness and helps them to relax. He is patient and listens to you. I have recommended my friends to Marmion Dental care and will continue to do so. Plus their fees and costs are very reasonable. Fantastic experience: Farham has been my dentist for a couple of years now. Never before have I been so satisfied with a dentist. With Marmion DC I’ve had a couple of major procedures including a couple of dreaded extractions. I have always been a very nervous dental patient and had put off treatment many times. Farham was extremely patient and considerate through my decision making process. When I finally decided to have the work done, each time, he was extremely careful and attentive to ensure I was not suffering pain and discomfort. His assistants are also very caring and careful. He ensured I was prepared for the expected after pain, which in fact lasted for a minimal amount of time. His surgery followed up with me to ask if everything was ok. Honestly, I can’t recommend Marmion Dental Clinic more highly.

Fantastic experience: I had a consult with Dr Farham to ask if he could please help me with my anxiety with dental work for a crown after having a really bad experience. Prior consultations with other dental clinics said for me to be sedated was my best option. This played on my mind for a while and I felt I needed to overcome this fear and have a strong mindset. Dr Farham and the team did the most amazing job they couldn't believe I went from an anxious person to perhaps one of the calmest. Trust the process, trust the dentist. No sedation needed.Highly recommended.

I was very anxious about the appointment and any procedure, but Dr. Farham was very patient with me and spend a lot of time trying to explain the procedures. The dental nurse was very helpful and kind and always available to help. Fantastic experience: Friend recommended to this dental clinic. I went for general dental check-up and got my teeth cleaned. Overall my experience was great. Dr Min and nurse Ashley were very professional and James who did cleaning my teeth did good jobs. I do have some dental phobias, all staffs in the clinic were friendly and made me comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Marmion dental care has absolutely amazing dentist and staff that you can always count on! Dr.Min finds wonderful ways to treat each patient with professional care and affection at all times. It is really important to have my own trustworthy dentist who takes care of my oral health in general every now and then. I'm so lucky to have Min as my dentist. Thank you Marmion dental care team!!

Negative experience: My son attended for a regulation scale and clean. After the clean, he was told everything looked fine but on leaving was handed a treatment plan for over $730 with the explanation that there were some minor fillings that were required. I felt this was a little excessive when he was just told that everything was "looking good" so I took him to another dentist for a second opinion without mentioning anything about his prior visit. The dentist took x-rays, something this dentist did not do and reported that everything looked very good, except for a small bit of decay on the back tooth and that they would not drill and fill that at this stage. Not wanting to discount this dentist's recommendations, I showed them the treatment plan. The dentist looked this over and re-stated that there was definitely no issue and could see no reason that this was suggested. My husband also visited just over three years ago as he needed a filling replaced and was also seen Dr Min. The dentist replaced the filling and told him he also needed a crown. Less than two days later, the filling fell out. Unhappy with the quality of the work, he went to another dentist had the filling replaced. This filling has been absolutely perfect and no crown has ever been needed, nor suggested. I also read the 1 star review left by Alex, then noted that 2 weeks later, two wonderful 5 star reviews were left praising the practice. Interestingly enough - one of them is written by the business manager of this clinic. Possibly the second one is also related. They seemed perfectly timed to negate the 1 star review left earlier. I have emailed the practice about my experience as they say they welcome feedback and three days later they have not replied nor acknowledged my request to be notified of closing our files as we will no longer be returning.

Negative experience: As of 19/08/19 both my husband and I are no longer patients at Marmion Dental Care. My husband has terrible anxiety and a fear of dentists due to previous significant dental trauma and requires sedation during his appointments which he would normally receive in the form of the Green Whistle (Methoxyflurane). This is noted in his file, Dr Min has previous experience with him, and we reiterated this a number of times both on arrival to, and during the appointment. We specifically said that my husband will need the Green Whistle during the appointment in order to be able to remain calm enough to sit through it. However, we were completely ignored each time - Dr Min would acknowledge our request and then simply carry on with what he was doing. He completely disregarded my husband's obvious signs of distress and began the procedure without allowing him to have any kind of calmative or sedative. Even when my husband began to vocalise his distress and pain while the anaesthetic was being administered, this was simply brushed aside with a a cheery "we're almost done" as apparently finishing what he was doing was a lot more important to the dentist than the fact that his patient was beginning to have a panic attack. The moment the needle was removed my husband was left clutching his head, just about screaming in pain, as it had aggravated the issue we had come to the dentist in the first place for, to the point that he had to jump out of the chair and run out of the clinic as he simply could not be in there any more. There was no apology from the Dentist, no reference to the fact that he had ignored our repeated requests for the thing that could have avoided this whole situation, and to boot we discovered that because we had booked the appointment through HealthEngine, they hadn't actually checked the file notes beforehand (HealthEngine does not flag anything so a manual check of the patient file is required by the medical professional before each appointment). The only one who actually apologised was the receptionist. In less than an hour Dr Min has undone the 7 years of hard work put in by us and our former dentist as my husband is now back to square 1 with his fear and distrust of dentists. I have managed to track down our former dentist (Dr Magdalene Ting, who is an amazing, compassionate, understanding, and gentle Dr who works very closely with her patients to make sure they receive the best possible care) and have transferred our medical files to her already as we will never be setting foot in Marmion Dental Care again. No attempt to make up for this utter fiasco of an appointment, and to top this off, they have now removed all the reviews from their Facebook page after this incident.

Fantastic experience: Marion dental have always been very willing to help they Go above and beyond to look after my kids especially with the Medicare grant. Staff are all very helpful even if it is just a question you have they will answer it before you have got to the chair.
