Primary Dental Dapto

Negative experience: I went to see Dr Maria Ahmed on the10/9/25 with pain in two teeth had them repaired cost $449 once the anaesthetic had worn off I found one tooth wasn’t repaired. 10days later still in pain I went back but this time saw Dr Syed Humayun (Great Dentist) Was told Dr Ahmed didn’t fix the obvious crack in the tooth she fixed so had to get them both fixed cost $718.00 So I asked for a $449 refund, after multiple emails and phone calls still waiting for my refund it’s now been 3months

Fantastic experience: I visit Primary Dental Dapto every 6 months for a checkup and the experience is always friendly and professional. You get a notification via text prior to the visit, and it is easy to reschedule if things pop up. The clinic is always spotless and inviting. Reception is friendly, helpful and accommodating, and always happy to have a chat. My dentist Dr. Syed is always professional, friendly, and enthusiastic about his work. And it wouldn't be a visit without being reminded to floss at least once a day. Primary Dental is a Bupa first provider so my checkups are always fully covered. There are also plenty of parking options, I find it easy to get an hour spot on Marshall Street.

They were very warm, friendly and professional and explained everything clearly from the moment I walked in until completion. The receptionist was warm and friendly. We brought out daughter who has dental trauma and Dr. Maria was very calm and reassuring. I would recommend them.

Fantastic experience: This Dental Practice has the most caring, reassuring & kindest staff; including Alison/ Reception and Leanne on Reception/ Dental Assistant and all of the Dentists and Assistants. All staff are down to earth. Treatment is carefully explained and costs transparent. I have always been made to feel comfortable and cared for, from the time I walk in the door to the time I leave. I have been attending Primary Dental for a few years and highly recommend this beautiful Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Humayun Syed is a great dentist, he is a warm friendly Dr that really cares about his patients (their teeth and their wellbeing), considerate, holistic practice. The nurses Leanne and I did not catch the name of the other lady, are fantastic caring and friendly people, I went in grumpy having to see a dentist on a Saturday, and I left smiling not only physically with my teeth feeling good, but smiling in my heart. Thank you Primary Dental Dapto staff for always taking great care with your patients and having such a great practice

Fantastic experience: I have only just recently attended Primary Dental in Dapto. I needed to replace my dentures and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I especially thank Leanne for manually processing my insurance claim for me since I just couldn’t get my head around it. I will be returning for any future dental work.

Fantastic experience: Saved me by fitting me in for an emergency appointment on Easter Saturday when a filling in my front tooth fell out (and I am heading overseas for a month tomorrow) . A very positive and caring experience from the lovely receptionist who found a way to get me in and the kind dental assistant and caring and professional dentist Maria. Fantastic experience: My husband had a tooth extraction yesterday at this practice and it was such a positive experience. Friendly reception caring staff and a fantastic dentist. Treatment was thorough and gentle with every step explained. The extraction took only a few minutes and there were no post procedure issues

Fantastic experience: Primary Dental in Dapto has always impressed me with its friendly manner and brilliant customer service. They are professional, whilst simultaneously feeling like old family friends. Dr Justin has a gentle manner and makes me feel relaxed and valued.

Fantastic experience: I have 4 kids that I take into Primary Dental at Dapto. Allison at the front desk and Dr Huma always are very helpful and somehow get all the kids checked up even when one or some of the kids are not playing easy to treat. I would recommend this practice to anyone with kids and especially kids that don't like or love the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Dapto Primary Dental. I’ve been attending for over 20 years and have always been so happy with the caring staff. I even had my wisdom teeth out in the chair there 18yrs ago. Then my husband started coming too, and these days we bring along the 3 kids for family check ups, cleans and more. It is a real comfort for all of us, especially the kids to see the same long standing amazing staff each time we come in, and they are learning the routine and what to expect too. Alison and Leanne are always happy to help me find a time to accommodate all 5 of us. And I rely on Dr Le to give me advice on all my families mouth care needs, he has always pointed me in the right direction and made great referrals for orthodontic needs aswell. We will be attending for many years to come and I will continue to refer family and friends to Dapto Primary Dental.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr Maria Ahmed at Primary Dental Dapto. Prior to my procedure, I was very anxious and Maria and Allison reassured me that I was in good hands and made me feel at ease. I was mostly anxious about the injection in which Maria used her professionalism and great care, to which I did not feel any pain at all. The whole procedure was a very positive experience. Couldn’t recommend her enough!!!!

So welcoming, warm, professional and one of the best Dental Clinics I've ever been to. They really look after you and always strive for the best outcomes for your dental health. The clinic is equipped with the best tools and technology and hygiene is top priority. Reception staff are lovely and helpful and the dentists are amazing. At the beginning I had a major fear of the dentist and all staff have gone above and beyond to make me feel at ease during all my visits, and have helped me build my confidence with each visit, as I know I am in caring and competent hands every time. As a dedicated customer I highly recommend Primary Dental, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Each time I have been to this clinic, I have been greeted by a friendly and helpful staff, who are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure my dental needs are met. I have always found the clinic to be a clean and tidy establishment, and seems to run smoothly and efficiently as I’m never in the waiting area for very long, but it seems to have a good influx of patients. I look forward to attending my appointments, well as much as you can when you go to the dentist!
