Negative experience: Quite a bad dentist I went there with a voucher for having teeth that need fiiling done.and just did a clean and thengot me out of chair and said it take would take to much time to do the fillings for my teeth so very dishonest dentist and greedy and the previous lady dentist I saw stated that the top one needs to redone.he tested me with bit and cold and my 2 top teeth are very painfull and getting worse and other dentist at blackhall terrace said you need to have the other filled.so Aiden didn't do that and just said contact the public dental and get a general voucher.and do any fillings witch where needed.

Fantastic experience: I have spent my entire life being afraid of going to the dentist, and as a result, I have largely avoided it, except for in absolute emergencies. Today I had my first check up at Blackall Terrace Dental, and despite the fact that I have quite a few issues that need attention, I don't feel worried in the least about getting some long term issues fixed. The entire team are so warm and welcoming, and I very quickly forgot about my nerves. Dr Hollywood was thorough, explaining everything at every step of the way, and he made sure I was as comfortable as could be expected. We even had a few laughs - very reassuring! At the end, he very patiently went through the x-rays and results with me and again, explained everything clearly and without jargon. He has given me the first steps to correcting some of the issues and there was no judgement or pressure of any kind. I am looking forward to working through the "to do" list because I completely trust his judgement and expertise. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is avoiding the dentist.

Negative experience: I have been dealing with this dental practice for nearly 6 months. They have put me on a plan but have not done the work to my teeth. I've tried to get it sorted with the practice manager, and all he can say to me is all the work you got. Done has been charged to your plan. i was waiting as Rebecca went on holidays to have the rest of my work finished, but it never happened. I have been overcharged, and being a single mother does not make it easy. I would not recommend this dentist. Smiles nambour is the best

Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth yesterday morning so l rang Blackall Terrace dental surgery to see if I could get an appointment as I was a new patient, I was able to get an appointment later in the morning and had a repair done all before midday. I went back this morning for a follow up appointment as I haven’t been to a dentist for some time, the checkup was extremely through and l was given a plan for follow-up work along all the costs for future work. I was very impressed with the level of information I revived during both visits and would like to thank Joe and his team for their professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Would 1000% recommend! I am a total sook when it comes to going to the dentist and I had to get 2 wisdom teeth extracted. I was so nervous but the team here are so incredible! They make you feel so comfortable and at ease the second you walk through the door. Negative experience: Incompetent staff in the knowledge of private insurance. I had to spend over $ 250 for their incompetence. They didn't inform me that they weren't members of the private insurance I owned. If they had informed me, I would not have spent a dollar. Obviously they would not have me as a client as I would go to a dentist who is a member of my insurance. ( The bill was $750 teeth cleaning. Teeth that didn't have any problems. I think the extras were created just to make the bill bigger). I find all this dishonest. Be careful. Regarding the dentist, I also have doubts about her. I'll check out her work when I visit my new dentist. One star only because I can't put less of 0 stars. Ps for the owner: don't try to make excuses. There are none. I clearly asked if I could use my insurance and the staff told me there was no problem with that. It is part of your job to inform your customers which insurances you are able to acept in total and which insurances no. If you are unable to do this it is right that you deserve a negative judgment for incompetence. It means not having enough knowledge to support your customers and it is only fair that everybody know.

Fantastic experience: The best thing is that every step is described so you know what's happening and why they are doing it. I always feel treated as an individual, not just another customer and, for more complex needs, am given a realistic series of options and possible outcomes. Down to earth good service!

These guys are friendly, professional and efficient ( and as painless as I’ve ever had- better even than SC Smile Centre-who are great dentists, lousy empathy-less receptionist). These guys no problem Everything is explained and any questions answered. Great record keeping as well. What can I say…it’s just like in the brochure.

Negative experience: Had two crowns done which weren’t cheap 2yrs ago n a month ago one cracked n broke off n the other one is giving me grief as well. Phoned them up n they said that the dentist that did my work has retired and was self-employed contractor through them and they would not Guarantee her work but said I could make an appointment for one of their other dentists to have a look at it and work out why it’s cracked off but there would be a fee for the examination STAY AWAY THEY DON’T STAND BEHIND THERE NAME

Negative experience: Went with a $1000 voucher from Queensland health and got a surface filling and a scale and clean. A report was supposed to be sent to Queensland health but never was resulting in a lengthy delay for needed treatment culminating with a loss of a tooth and some major cavities that would of been obvious at the time of the examination.
