Fantastic experience: Kim is an exemplary dentist, with equally exemplary support from her staff. Well done. A great team! I am glad I listened to Kims initial advice 3 years ago. Because I would require 3 implants prior to her fitting crowns, she suggested a referral to an oral surgeon (Andrew Chang), where I would be admitted to hospital for bone grafts and implants in two separate day surgeries. I saved many thousands of dollars, as my private hospital cover subsidised a large amount of the dental costs vs being treated in the dental chair. Once again thanks, Kim! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: My wife Rakhi needed an urgent appointment for putting in a screw and we were lucky to get one at Northgate Dental. When she came back, she was so happy and thanked me that I book the best every time she need’s anything. I asked her why so and expressed that Dr Kim Tran was so affable and comforting even though meeting first time. Fantastic experience: WOW. Rang up and booked appointment. Told them what I wanted done. On the day of appointment, they had all the details ready to go. Dr Kim discussed everything through. I went for tooth extraction. Dr Kim explained few options and was so thorough. We went ahead with the extraction. This is the best part, I didn’t even realised, that doctor had pulled my tooth. That’s how smooth it was. Dr Kim said it’s all done. I was like you took the tooth out? and she was like yes it’s here. I was just amazed how she painlessly managed it. Pretty Unbelievable. I would highly recommend Dr Kim and the practice. Everyone hate going to dentist including me but this surely has changed things moving forward .Thank you so much Dr Kim.

Fantastic experience: What a little gem I came across on the HealthEngine app! I was feeling a bit nervous about visiting the dentist, but I'm so happy with my decision to see Dr Kim! She's super lovely & personable; her bubbly personality & friendly chit chat honestly made me forget she was prodding around in my mouth for at least 30 mins haha. Dr Kim also explained all my options for me in a clear and concise way including the cost of things, which was a first for me but so definitely appreciated as I now have an idea of what I could be paying for further procedures rather than being left with a nasty bill at the end. Fantastic experience: Well what a pleasant experience. Like many, I had dreaded going to the dentist, but Dr Kim Tran was wonderful. She took the time to check on all my dental needs, then she explained everything in detail. She gave me her recommendations and told me why. She also told me how to get into the public system waiting list, for future long-term dental care, as I am on a very low income. Her rates are good, very fair, not bloated. Most importantly, Dr Tran, and her assistant, Tanya, put me at ease instantly. They are professional, kind and friendly. If you're like me, and haven't been to a dentist for a long while, and are anxious about seeing a dentist, I recommend Dr Tran, same if you just want a professional, friendly service at a reasonable price. Oh and the couch in the waiting area is super comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Every dental procedure comes with some pain. Until now. The dentist administered injections and performed a root canal and I experienced NO DISCOMFORT. Amazing. Very friendly and informative, and kept me comfortable. I highly recommend this dentist.

I have been shopping around for a number of months looking for a new dentist and have researched / sampled quite a number of Adelaide's best (being disappointed with the service I was getting from my current dentist), and made Northgate Dental my go to for all my dental needs after my first visit! Not being the most local Dentist for me (I live in the west of Adelaide); the service, value for money, ease of making an appointment, plenty of parking and good location (post office, Woolworths and other services at this location), skill and knowledge of the dentist, the friendliness of the people who work at the practice and the level and quality of the personal service won me over and has continued to do so since my first visit. The dentist were more than happy to show me the capabilities on site and a run down on the experience in the team. All the equipment was well maintained and kept as new and was much more advanced than what I have seen in other dentists in Adelaide. I have always felt I was given all the information I needed to make the best dental decision and never felt pressured into a service. Having said this I've witnessed and spoken to others in the waiting room who wish to take a hands off approach and let the experts do the work with similar positive experiences and trust built with the practice. The dentist seem to also have a focus on families and children, with those that I've seen visit actually seem excited to go to the dentist! The team handled transfer of all my records from my previous dentist and avoided the requirements of additional expensive x-rays other dentist were telling me I had to get with them. The transition to Northgate was seamless and stress free and completely taken care of by the team. I have been very impressed with Northgate Dental and have no problem recommending them to others. Thanks for the quality service you provide to the community!

Fantastic experience: My 4 yr old had her regular check-up done with Dr Kim for the first time. She and her staff are very friendly and professional. They've done a great effort to ensure my daughter was calm and comfort to stay on the recliner chair as there's a tv on the ceiling!! They are also bulk billed for Child Dental Benefit Schedule without any gap. Dr Kim's advice is very detailed and helpful too!
