He was incredibly professional, calm, and kind - his approach made the whole experience so much easier and far less stressful than I expected. My 5-year-old daughter also had her checkup and clean with Teresa, who was absolutely amazing with her. Teresa made her feel involved and comfortable, turning what could have been a daunting visit into a fun and positive experience. We’re so grateful to have found St Ives Smiles. Fantastic experience: Dr Jeremy Hockey and Teresa Tran- Nguyen are professional, knowledgeable dentists. I have overcome dental anxiety due to their caring manner and clear explanations. They also communicate with me current and potential issues and how best to approach. They are fully familiar with my history. Their staff are communicated professionally when needed together with sincere interest in them. Their facilities are modern. They ask me what I want to watch on Netflix.

Fantastic experience: I came into St Ives smiles after bouncing around a number of different dentists over the years and not being able to find one I was happy with. I had a good amount of work needed, Jeremy and Theresa took the time to listen to my concerns, asked all the right questions, and were super flexible in the options presented to me, down to scheduling 3 separate fillings in one sitting at my request. To top it off they're just lovely people. Would definitely recommend - I've found my new dentist for life.

Fantastic experience: Our whole family went for our first check up and clean. The service from Dr Jeremy was very detail, I’m glad we found a good dentist after trying out more than 4 dental clinics. We brought our 3 year old as well and she was introduced to their procedure by Dr Jeremy in a very fun way. We are so glad for our little one’s experience. We have planned to come back for gum treatment and wisdom teeth removal. Receptionist (sorry can’t remember your name for now) was very polite as well! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Our family has been treated by Dr Jeremy and hygienist Theresa. They are both incredibly patient and knowledgeable. Taking time to explain processes to my children 12 and 7, making them feel at ease. They are both very caring and great at what they do. She was very nervous and I am pretty phobic about all things dentist so to say we were anxious before the appointment would be an understatement! However the experience could not have been better. Julian and team went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and informed throughout. And the operation was quick, successful and pain free. They (and their staff) are super gentle, explain things well, and make the overall environment feel positive and welcoming for both the kids and I. The practice is also conveniently located so all round has been a great transition for us.

Everything was explained clearly to me and the whole team were just kind and very patient with any questions I had. Heaps of parking nearby as well so you don’t have to scramble to find a park right before an appointment.

Dr Hockey is extremely attentive, friendly and makes the whole experience of going to the dentist so much more pleasant and even enjoyable. He has a relaxed demeanor and never makes you feel pressured into any cosmetic procedures and really takes a holistic approach to your dental health.

Fantastic experience: My dad went into see Dr Hockey and I was seen by the hygienist Theresa for the first time as I was referred to them recently and it was the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr Hockey was very caring and took the time to assess each individual tooth and not only just consulted but actually listened to my dad's concerns. We felt like we were a part of decision making process and given a couple of options. My dad said he has never felt so comfortable at a dental practice before and he mostly appreciated professional yet personal dental plans created for him on the day. Thank you so much Dr Hockey! The hygienist Theresa was very thorough with her clean and so gentle with my sensitive gum. It is so satisfying WHEN YOU HAVE SQUEAKY CLEAN TEETH! She also found one loose tooth that needed the Dr Hockey's attention which I had no idea about and she kindly also educated me on brushing so I don't further recede my gums. I have had my teeth cleaned at many other dentist before but this is another level. Thank you again for making our dental experience a real pleasant one St ives Smiles!

Negative experience: In February 2021 I saw Bentley Sachs regarding a troublesome tooth. He fitted crowns to 34 and 37, then a bridge was made for the space between these two teeth. The Bridge was not successful, resulting in the Bridge becoming loose and coming out five times. I have been to another Dentist for a second opinion, as tooth 37 was sore and 34 was tender. The outcome has been there was decay under 34 and 37. Both of these teeth had to be extracted. This has resulted in my being out of pocket by $7,000.00. I raised this matter with Jeremy who would not take any action.

Fantastic experience: Relatively new to the area so I thought I'd give these guys a go for my routine check up. Ended up having the smoothest (and most enjoyable) experience I've probably ever had with a dentist. Receptionist was super friendly and Dr Hockey was an absolute professional. He even went the extra mile with the clean and spent some time afterwards explaining certain things I wasn't quite sure about. Already booked my daughter in for her checkup next month as these guys are fantastic. Highly recommend paying them a visit but just be sure to watch out for Dr Hockey's jokes (don't quit the day job just yet mate ;) )
