We appreciate your feedback. For accuracy, we would like to clarify that the fee of $459 was not for a single filling. The total amount included:

Two x-rays
A fail-to-attend fee
The fail-to-attend fee was clearly outlined in every reminder and confirmation message prior to your appointment. Unfortunately, when the appointment was missed, three of our staff members waited 45 minutes on a Saturday morning before the session had to be rescheduled.
We also wish to highlight that during your visits, you expressed several times how impressed you were with the care provided by our dentist, particularly noting how comfortable your child felt after previously being traumatised by another dentist at a different dental practice.
With regard to the treatment fee, our staff explained that the charge reflected a multiple-surface filling, which is a standard and transparent fee. While we welcome questions and discussion about treatment costs, the abusive and aggressive language you used towards our staff on the phone was unacceptable and deeply concerning. No healthcare worker should ever be subjected to hostility or verbal abuse, regardless of the circumstances.

Negative experience: I am editing my review after seeing a specialist. I cant believe you have the audacity to respond in this manner (actually you edited your initial comment). I had a very distressing and painful experience at Main Street Dental, Bacchus Marsh. I came in with the goal of restoring my dental health through a full treatment plan, which included extracting decayed molars under general anaesthetic and eventually placing implants. I trusted the team’s advice and plan — a decision I now deeply regret. After they removed multiple molars, I was left with air passing between my sinuses and gums on both sides. I was told this was "normal" and would heal naturally. It never properly healed — something I’ve since learned requires specialist intervention. Worse still, I was suffering from an undiagnosed sinus infection caused by infected roots that were left in my mouth after surgery. These were never mentioned, monitored, or treated. I only found out months later when a new dentist, Dr Nabil Ishak, removed the roots and told me the infection could have become life-threatening. He also told me I should have been referred to a specialist immediately after surgery. To make matters worse, a metal object (like a broken dental tool) was left embedded in one of my teeth during surgery. When I brought it up, I was given vague explanations and told I would lose the tooth, but I was never offered a clear reason how this happened or what exactly the object was. I was given no apology, no ownership of the mistake — just confusion and avoidance. Despite numerous attempts to get answers and full records, the clinic avoided accountability. I received only partial documentation and was referred to an external association without any of my direct concerns being addressed. Now I face additional surgeries, specialist procedures, and loss of a natural tooth — all of which could have been avoided with proper care and honesty. I strongly encourage others to get a second opinion if you’re considering treatment here. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic and feel that patients deserve far more transparency and responsibility than what I received.

We’ve checked our records, and we have no record of you as a patient. If we had ever spoken to you about a procedure like this, you would be in our system, as we only provide quotes after a thorough consultation. We take the time to assess each patient’s needs, explain the treatment options, and ensure they receive the correct care—not just a number over the phone.
Now, let’s talk about the numbers. You claim we quoted you $19,650 for six caps. That would mean a price of $3,275 per cap, which is completely incorrect. We’ve checked our price list, and in even the most complex cases, our price for a cap is starting from $1844 to maximum $2,195 per tooth —a fair and competitive market rate. It is simply not possible that we quoted you the price you’re claiming.
On the other hand, you say a competitor offered you six caps for $3,500, which works out to $583 per cap. That is not a market price for high-quality dental crowns. It is below cost . It must either be a price for something else entirely—or not true at all. No reputable dentist can provide proper caps at below cost .
Usually, when people read an online review, they can click on the reviewer’s profile and see their other reviews. This helps them determine whether the reviews are genuine—whether they’re all in one country or spread across the world, whether they’re all negative, or whether they seem to have a clear pattern. Hiding your review history makes this difficult, and we’re not sure why someone leaving an honest review would want to do that.

Negative experience: Reception staff are lovely but twice now I've been the first appointment of the day and both times the dentist was late. I would understand if there were previous cases that went overtime, but first appointment of the day should start on time, or within ~5 minutes at least. Also the dentist is incentivising clients to give good reviews on social media with the chance of winning free teeth whitening. She was very insistent, even asking me to get out my phone and watching me. This is immoral in my opinion for a health practice - it takes advantage of people and skews the online reviews.

Fantastic experience: I have attended Main St dental for many years now. Dr Saba has spent numerous hours reconstructing an old injury on my front teeth. Dr Saba has seen me at short notice more than once to conduct ‘repairs’ whilst I was awaiting surgery and the results/ follow up since surgery has been very professional. Positive experience: I had one of my teeth filled two years ago, and the food was stuck into my teeth during lockdown. I was tired of using floss after each meal and decided to try this dental clinic before Christmas to get my teeth refill. During the treatment, the dentist suggest that I might need a root canal due to the deep of decay. After two weeks, the teeth was still sore. I waited and rang after Christmas even I couldn't enjoy any family time due to the inflammation. The lady in the phone was nice and told the clinic would open tomorrow. I felt my teeth didn't heal well and I might need a further treatment straight away, therefore, I went to the clinic second day to get my X-ray photo for getting a quote to compare the price. When I came to the clinic, the reception was very nice, however, I was told no need to take any further treatment which could be a misunderstood. After another two weeks, my teeth was still hurt and New Year holidays were about to end. I decided visit this clinic again to check if there anything they can do for me. Surprisingly, the reception gave me an early appointment which I thought it might take a week. On the appointment, I got a quote for root canal and decided to do it straight away. I rated this clinic at my expectation. Very good response so far.

You have mentioned that you paid $414 . It is a minimun fee you can pay for the type of complicated treatment you have received.
When you saw the dentist at our dental practice 4 weeks back you mentioned you were not happy with the dental treatment provided to you at your previous dentist and needed some treatment to be redone. You were advised at the time of your treatment that the tooth can play up due to the complexity of the existing issue . You were advised that you may need a root canal treatment. It is normal to have some pain or sensitivity after a complex dental filling .That was advised at the time of the treatment . It is the nature of your existing condition. The dentist had no control over it.
2 weeks later you rang the dental practice on a public holiday requesting to have your dental xray send to you. You were advised that it is a public holiday and no one is present at work, please call us next working day and ask the receptionist for the xray she will email it to you.
In stead of calling us you walked in the next day without an appointment before our opening time in the morning.
You walked in and asked for your xray and also a quote for root canal treatment as you were having some complications.
It was not possible to address to your query at that time as there were a few patients who had appointments were due soon . You spoke to the dentist and she advised you to call us and make an appointment with her if your issue persists in next few days and then we can discuss further need of treatment. Saying that the symptoms you were facing at that time and you told the dentist ,could have been treated if you came to see her . Thats why the dentist told you that you do not need a root canal at that time. We strongly encourage our patients to call us whenever they feel any issue or not sure about any thing we have done. We never heard back from you.
The dentist advised you to stay with the same dentist for a course of care is a universal thing. Whenever a dentist has started a treatment on a tooth and if you need further treatment on the same tooth it is understandable and makes sense to stay with the same dentist as every time when you change your dentist you pay more to the new dentist to start the treatment from scratch. Even if you see a different dentist at the same dental practice the new dentist will charge you again. The dentist was simply been ethical. It never meant that you can’t see any other dentist .
If you are experiencing pain we strongly encourage you to make an appointment and see the dentist. It is not possible to diagnose and treat the pain when you are standing at the reception or when you have called us on the phone .
The dentist is more than happy to help you with the issues you are having and will be able to help you with all your queries .
You have mentioned that the dentist said you don’t need any further treatment must be a miss understanding as dentist’s notes written at the time of your conversation with the dentist mentioned that she advised you to come back and see her and she will be able to help you with your issues.

Negative experience: Way over priced, think they are just our for a money grab. I was charged $251 this week for a child's teeth clean, almost fainted as that wasn't the only thing we were there for $756 dollars later I will go back to our usual dentist when it opens again.

We understand that you are not happy about the charges that you paid for your children’s dental visit at our practice.
You have mentioned that you were charged $251 for a child's teeth clean.
Your child had a comprehensive dental examination, clean and polish and fluoride treatment done. The charge was not just for a clean.
All this was done on your request.
$756 was the total amount you paid. Your other child had a comprehensive examination, 1 Xray and 2 fillings done. All that was done on your request, and you insisted on having everything done in that visit.
When you look at the amount of dental work performed on your children and time spent on doing it the cost is very below average.
You mentioned in your visit that the children’s last dental visit was a while back. Every dentist has their own dental fee depending on a lot of factors, one of it is depending on the quality of materials used and expertise of the dentist and their knowledge.
We are pretty sure if you had visited your usual dentist after 17 months from your last visit their fee would have increased as well.
You came in when there was a lot of restrictions due to covid lock downs and a lot of staff and supplies shortages. But we still made sure that we provided the best service to your children, and we take great pride in that.
A lot of dental practices increased their fees in that time due to increased overheads and difficulty in sourcing material and staff, but we didn't. We kept on providing the same excellent service at the same price. We wish your children the best.
Fantastic experience: I had serious major dental work that required immediate attention. All my fears of dental chaos were put down to waste with the first consultation. Their quality is unsurpassed (and I’ve seen a lot of dentists) I'd like to especially mention Dr. Saba who was very accommodating for both financial and time restraints and dare I say a good sense of humor. Fantastic experience: I had a tooth pain and Dr Saba fit me in same day. The Dr showed me pictures of my tooth and explained all my options, and the prices of each procedures. Really pleased with results and the professionalism and quality I received from Dr Saba.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Main Street Dental for as long as i can remember and every time it has been a great experience. Dr Saba is the best dentist i have ever had and probably the only dentist that i will trust my teeth with clean practice, excellent work, amazing results and great customer service.
