Her solutions are innovative, and I’m impressed with the new technology and treatments her practice embraces, now including a mouth cancer check. The practice also has a good booking, calendar invitation and reminder service.

Fantastic experience: Until I started seeing Dr Bal Bahra at Dental Rooms in Woollahra I hated going to the dentist, but Dr Bal and her friendly team have completely turned me around. Dr Bal is so kind and her medical competence shines through her calm and lovely manners. At my last appointment she took the time to calmly talk me through the procedure while I was still sitting up, she got to the bottom of my fears and did everything to address those and make me feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. The stress ball she had for me also helped a lot. The procedure was absolutely pain free and I am so happy with the results. I can highly recommend her practice for adults and kids!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Bal Bara for 18 years. If it were not for her I would now be wearing dentures top and bottom. She diagnosed my gum disease, referred me to an orthodontist and between the 2 of them saved my teeth. She has also done excellent crown and bridge work to ensure a beautiful natural smile.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous to get my top wisdom teeth out as I had heard some scary stories over the years! But Dr Bahra, from the start, was so soothing, efficient, kind and amazing at her job. She took her time to explain the procedure to me and address any anxieties I had. The procedure was quick, straightforward (despite my roots having a few hooks on them), and the actual removal of them was virtually pain-free! I could have cried from relief (and I did once I got to my car). I had to take some Panadol for the pain on the first day and once the numbing cream & local anaesthetic wore off, but have been pain-free since. I experienced no noticeable swelling, either. Thank you Dr Bahra! <3 I read a lot of Google Reviews reviews before my appointment, so hopefully this one will help someone who is nervous as well. Also the reception and nursing team was receptive, soothing and lovely as well! Thanks to all xx

Fantastic experience: Bal is fantastic! Kind, patient and conservative in approach. She removed two of my 10yo sons teeth without him realising she had given him local anaesthetic, just by talking calmly and applying a topical numbing cream. He asked if anything had happened yet as she told him to rinse once it was all over! Can't recommend highly enough.

I've been putting off getting a wisdom tooth out for a number of years and thanks to her reassurance I decided to finally get it removed.It was all done in 20 minutes I don't know why I was so worried! She also did an amazing job on a cosmetic filling I got replaced on my front tooth!

Fantastic experience: When I tell people I'm going to the dentist, and it's in Woollahra, they're usually surprised. It's quite far from me, and there's many, many places that would be more convenient. But Bal is worth the trip. She is a very skilled dentist, and while I'm sure there might be others I could find with comparable skill, there are none that could compare with her empathy and kindness. It's because of visiting her that I ended a decade-long practice of avoiding the dentist whenever possible. The dread I used to feel is completely gone. She will treat you like a family member and genuinely cares about giving you the best possible treatment. Give her a go, you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Dr Bahra is a miracle worker.All my experiences with Dentists to date have been pretty awful, painful, stressful experiences, so I have avoided them for many years. But eventually you have to go back. Dr Bahra is super fast, super gentle, super gifted! Several fillings, no pain - amazing! I walked out feeling great, whereas I walked in shaking. Can't recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: I had some very bad opinions of dentists over years and would ony go o one when I had a bad problem. I went to and saw Bal (April 2022)when I had a severe toothache. I even told her my thoughts. She was very warm and probably not encouraged by my comments. She says we have been on a journey and I suppose we have. She has restored my all my teeth issues and now when I see her I still give her a bit of a hard time about dentists. she just smiles and says let's get on with it. I highly recommend her and her team. who I have also very friendly and happy to help

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Bal for dental work for a few years now and can’t rate her highly enough. Besides her dental work being excellent, she’s just a lovely human in general who is very kind and considerate towards her patients. Reception staff and assistants are also super friendly and helpful so it’s always a pleasure to visit the dental rooms. Dr Kornfeld provided me with my treatment and comprehensively documented my dental health complete with x rays and a fantastic clean and polish and this was all provided without any additional gap payment as a new patient. The quality of the service was exceptional and I could not recommend this practice highly enough. Thank you to all of the staff for making this the best dental experience I have ever had!

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Bal for a cracked tooth that had become infected and incredibly painful overnight. I called first thing in the morning and her receptionist organised for me to come in right away to get it sorted out. I am a very nervous patient, due to a bad experience with another dentist that left me in shock, and I was terrified and in extreme pain. Dr Bal was so careful and gentle with me. She has a wonderful caring bedside manner that immediately put me at ease. She made sure I had adequate pain relief - I did not feel a single thing during the entire extraction! Fantastic experience: Exceptional dental surgery. Have been attending for five years and have had some major dental work. Dr Bal’s expertise is first rate, her and the whole team are wonderfully warm, empathetic and professional.

Pleasure and dentist do not ever seem to go in the same sentence, but this is the exception to the rule. I suffer from dental anxiety due to bad childhood experiences, and I have finally found a dentist that alleviates all of my fears. The whole experience was so relaxed, professional and efficient. I highly recommend this dental surgery, especially for scaredy cats, scarred by inferior and unscrupulous dental services.

Fantastic experience: Towards the end of last year I had very complex dental issues as two separate bridges were badly abscessed. Under Dr Bahra’s care I now have each bridge replaced by perfectly positioned implants which look truely natural. Not only am I delighted with the result, I must also commend Dr Bahra and her team for their delightful, professional and reassuring approach.

I couldn't believe it! Dental Room's provides a unmatched homely personable service that would be hard to find anywhere else. I now live 40 min drive away and wouldn't think twice about making the trip over again to see Bal!

Fantastic experience: Maureen and I have been patients at this practice for three years. We are both extremely satisfied with the treatment care and attention we receive from Dr Bahra. I have dreaded visits to the dentist in the past. This meant only visiting a dentist in emergencies. This changed when Dr Bahra moved to this practice. At the time I needed to have implants to fill in the gaps where I had teeth extracted years earlier. I was reluctant to do this. My concern was heightened because I also have an extreme gag reflex. Dr Bahra took the time to talk me though what she would do. During the procedure itself she ensured that I knew exactly what she was doing and why. I am most satisfied with the outcome. I am now having regular checkups. I no longer dread the dentist chair. As a result of my experience I have recommended Dr Bahra to family and friends. They too are extremely satisfied with their treatment. On costs, Dr Bahra's prices are not as high as many other independent practitioners I and my family have visited in the past. This is despite her level of expertise, her attention to the needs of individual patients and her commitment to successful outcomes, being far superior to those other practitioners we have used in the past.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the Dental Rooms for over thirty years since when it was run by Tony Cruikshank and continue to do so even though Tony has retired. I have been to dentists in the UAE, America, UK and a few locations in Australia, but Dr Bal Bahra is the best dentist I have ever been to, anywhere. Her compassion is moving, her explanations of what she is going to do and why are clear and simple, and her touch is so gentle that she puts paid to all those fears of visiting a dentist. In fact I always look forward to seeing her, and she is so good I once fell asleep in the chair while she was working on my mouth. I sincerely doubt you will find a better dentist anywhere.
