Fantastic experience: Dr. Katie Lee is the WORLD BEST DENTIST. I visited Bubudental in Eastwood after my fixed retainer came off. I didn’t have insurance and was quite anxious, but Dr. Katie was amazing — kind, professional, and honest. She gave clear explanations, treated only what was necessary, and made me feel genuinely cared for. I've had bad dental experiences before, but this was completely different. Quick diagnosis, fair pricing, no pressure. If you're a student, on a working holiday, or just nervous about going to the dentist, I truly recommend this place. Dr. Katie is the best dentist I’ve met — hands down.

Negative experience: Re: Cut off a 7-year-old child’s swollen gum without anaesthetic or mother consent and being charged untreated procedures. On 15/06/24 at 1:45pm, my 7-year-old daughter had an appt to treat her swollen and pained gums. We entered the room at approximately 2pm and after inspection, Dr Youngbin ( Matthew) Kim noticed that she had calculus around her teeth and a swollen back gum due to the emergence of a new molar. He then suggested scaling to rectify the former and gave me a choice for the treatment of the latter: leave the swollen gum as it should settle without interference which would take a few weeks or presently remove the gum and any pain would settle within the day. I chose the second option as my daughter was previously complaining about severe gum pain and was unable to eat. The doctor proceeded with scaling first before cutting off the swollen gum without dental anaesthetic. I was adjacent to the door during the treatment and thus was unable to see or hear the procedure in detail as the room was quite large and there were various noises in the room. However, I heard the doctor ask my daughter something which ended with “your choice” and was confused as any medical decision should have been asked to me, her mother. I attempted to ask the nurses of the situation, all of who ignored me, and get closer to the treatment area, but my daughter began screaming in pain and burst into tears. During his various incisions, my daughter was wailing in agony and there was a consistent stream of blood from her mouth. Despite this, she did not close her mouth, use her limbs or change her position in any way to hinder the doctor. We exited the room at 2:26pm and I paid $420 for the removal of calculus, cutting off of her swollen gum and topical fluoride. I did not the verify the receipt as my top priority was to care for my daughter and brought her home as soon as I could. When she was placated at home, I went back to the clinic at around 3:30pm to question the doctor first, his justification for my lack of consent and second, the excess sum charged for Topical Fluoride. Dr Kim was not present so I spoke to the receptionist. I stated that he did not use any Topical Fluoride as there was too much blood, saliva and water for any solution to be applied on her teeth. The nurse verified my claim and the receptionist refunded the cost of $35 and an extra $15. At 5:24pm, I received a phone call from the doctor who said he left the clinic early due to being unwell and attempted to justify his actions in asking my 7-year-old daughter for medical consent. The doctor said that I was crying during the procedure and did not want to alarm me further. However, I was in no way prohibited of making the best decision for my child. This event heavily traumatised my daughter as during each consecutive night following this incident she has woken up screaming refusal, sobbing uncontrollably and consistently going to the toilet an unnatural amount of times. She refuses to open her mouth for anything, including rinsing her mouth or brushing her teeth in fear that I would see any mistreatment and bring her to another dentist again. Thanks for reading my experience and want to ask you that would you dare to bring your child or yourself to this clinic?

Fantastic experience: I started having my check-up here about 2 years ago. Had one major dental here too. Dr. Won is very professional. Staff is so friendly (I don't know the name of the receptionist but she is so friendly and helpful!).

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Paik yesterday. Because dental floss accidentally stuck between my teeth. He elaborated very kindly and also concerned about my jaw joint(no one has ever mentioned the sound of cracking) I was a demanding patient with some issues But, Dr Paik and the lovely assistant were very patient and made me feel relaxed. I really appreciated. The lady at the front desk is also sweet and caring. I strongly recommend for anyone who lives in the area.

Negative experience: Disappointed with the service of Dr Jane Na. Worst experience! I have booked an appointment with Dr James Paik, 3:15PM, 18 May 2024, however, I received a call on the same day saying that they have to move it to 3:30PM. So I arrived the clininc around 3PM and was were assisted by Amy. It was already 3:30PM, but my name hasn’t been called. So I asked Amy that there’s gonna be delay as the dentist was working on a serious case. I asked her if who will be the dentist, and she said it will be Dr Jane Na. Amy said another 10mins to wait. But my name was only called around 4:10PM. So total delayed was about an hour from my appointment. I still waited patiently as I was already in in the clinic and I dont wanna waste my time to travel back again to the clinic. Since I’ve waited already for an hour of delay, I was expecting that it will be still a good service as I have read good feedback to Dr Jane Na. But at the end of the session, it was a horrible experience. I felt like Dr Jane Na was in a rush as the clinic supposed to be closed by 4:30PM. She wasn’t able to complete the procedure and she wanted to me to visit the clinic again on June 8th which is ridiculous! It was a bloody procedure. My gums were bleeding so badly. She only did the upper part of my teeth. She only did the scaling, but never polish, floss and didnt put a topical agent. It seems like she doesn’t care about her patients and not doing her job properly. So unprofessional and no empathy with her patient. I would like to commend the receptionist Amy for being professional and friendly. I was complaining about the dentist and I told her that Dr Jane Na doesn’t deserve to get paid as the procedure was not finished. She resolved it by cancelling the transaction with my Bupa account. It was a bad experience with Dr Jane Na. Not recommended.

Fantastic experience: 김영빈 선생님께 신경치료를 받았습니다. 제 인생에서 가장 친절한 의사 선생님이셨어요..! 신경치료는 처음이라 너무 무서워했는데 긴장 풀어주시고 최대한 안 아프게끔 신경써주셨어요. 하나하나 꼼꼼하게 봐주셨고 가격도 워홀러, 학생비자 고려해주셔서 저렴하게 차징해주셨어요!! 무조건 추천합니다.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr James Paik for your dental treatments. No dentists has described dental procedure and conditions so thoroughly to me before! He has also not pushed for unnecessary treatments like some does. Truly feels very well cared for!

Fantastic experience: Dr Jane Na is an amazing dentist! My partner and I have been seeing her for a few years now, and I would not go anywhere else. Prior, another dentist missed a very severe cavity and because of it, it's caused me issues. Dr Na found it on my first exam. She's gentle, extremely kind, and her knowledge is second to none. The practice is always impeccably clean and sterile (exactly what one would want at a Dentist). The dental assistants, though, are far from that. They are kind, helpful and always in sync with Dr Na. Amy is the kindest person you would want to deal with. She is funny and very efficacious, often squeezing you in in an emergency. Even if they are running a bit behind schedule, Amy will call or SMS you to let you know; so you do not spend time waiting for no reason. I'd highly recommend Dr Na and the staff, including Amy, for all your dental needs.

Negative experience: I came to this clinic because it is listed by my insurance provider. There are at least two dentists here. One is the junior/lady and the other is the surgeon. Both of them always push for the more expensive treatment option IMHO. The junior found a cavity during clean up and immediately suggest to perform a root canal. And it turn out that just a filling will do the job. Had a crown done by the senior surgeon once, and he kept pushing for the gold crown. He also kept pushing for a implant (while I know there are cheaper options else where). Both of them are limited in speaking English, IMHO do not communicate to patients enough about treatment options. Maybe this clinic is better suited for Korean speaking people?

Negative experience: It seems the dentist keep pushing for implants instead of denture when there are options for patients. It's quite high cost for seniors when it comes to implants option. My mum's been going there for while and she's getting anoyed with the attitude and intention of the dentist. It sounds he is only interested in making big money instead of patients welfare. Not sure whether to recommend to other people.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Won a few weeks ago for a root canal and he was very professional and even though I was very anxious he was empathetic and made me feel very comfortable.
