Fantastic experience: Dr Asmono Truong and Dental Assistant Amelia were absolute champions!! Fitted me in for an emergency appointment, tooth was removed in literally minutes with ZERO pain, they were calming and so kind!!! Helped me understand I didn’t need to have surgery for the remainder of the work I need (unlike another dentists advice) and saved me thousands!!! My new dentist for sure!!! Thoroughly recommend especially if you have BUPA cover as I nearly fell over when I paid the bill I was expecting another zero lol!! Cheapest by far. Thanks so much for taking me on as a new client. Oh don’t forget the wonderful receptionist and Practice Manager, never has a business taken the time to sit down and chat to you about your day!!! JUST AMAZING!!!

Negative experience: I recently visited bupa dental geelong south for general dental check up and cleaning but I am really disappointed from their service. According to my understanding, the staff only shows further processes of spending money on multiple options instead of solutions. At Bupa dental Belmont, someone will deal you like a salesman at Harvey Norman, Blood Toyota and BMW Chatswood etc. I faced Dr. Sumayia for my general dental cleaning and she literally left her cleaning job undone. She further showed that book an other appointment for this stuff and then another appointment with someone else but the main job that was assigned to her was not completed properly. “I am really disappointed from their services”

Fantastic experience: Today I had a great experience at Bupa dental in Belmont 3216. The welcome was just amazing. Barb, Ella n David are such warm friendly people. I had Asmono Truong my attending dentist. His work is amazing. Very polite and informative all along. His nurse was also very friendly. Dr. Truong was very caring and gentle all the way. Fantastic experience: I have gotten my cleans done with OHT Laura and I am currently with Dr Manya for my root canal. They are the most caring dental professionals I have ever had. They make sure you feel heard and acknowledged. They are both very thorough with their patients care. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr Asmono Truong is absolutely brilliant with crowns and dental treatments. Excellent outcome and wonderful service from Dr Asmono, Amelia the dental assistant and Ella at reception.

Negative experience: Mi experiencia fue terrible, fui al consultorio porque se me rompió mi implante de muela o corona, le explique a la odontologa que tenía la lengua cortada por el implante roto, lleve mi implante para que lo pudieran pegar y me dijo que no era posible, que sólo debía extraerla, lo cuál me negué porque estaba sola y manejando y debía ñevantar a mi hija pequeña. Pregunté el costo de un nuevo implante o puente dentro del consultorio y se me informó eran menos de Aud1000 cuando voy a la recepción solicito el presupuesto para hacer la nueva cita, el costo era más de Aud 4000, la extracción también tenia costo aparte, en definitiva nada de lo que me tenía que hacer estaba cubierto por Bupa, Yo pago una cobertura con extras para que justamente no me pasen estas cosas y resulta que no me sirve pata nada, y los costos son muy elevados. Me siento estafada con el servicio de Bupa. No lo recomiendo para nada.

Fantastic experience: Me and my family always get our check up here. Today, I had my back tooth, the very last one, extracted by Dr.Gauri Rattani. She has been incredibly helpful from the beginning, guiding me through the decision-making process, refer me and getting advice from specialists, and ultimately helping me have the tooth removed. The procedure was done today, and she was gentle, explaining everything thoroughly, and the whole process went so smoothly. A big thank you to Bupa Dental Geelong South. I’d also like to mention the Lady receptionist at the clinic, she alway smiles, was very helpful and polite too. Thank you so much!”

Negative experience: Took ages to be served, still waiting for my referral, pathetic communication, stay away and ensure you check charges pre- procedure as they elevate prices without sharing the actual cost
Fantastic experience: Reception staff are awesome, in particular the guy who works on reception, I can't remember his name. Very friendly and they really put you at ease for us oldies who have a dentist phobia. Dr Talebi was brilliant.
Positive experience: During a procedure on May 8, I felt the suction pull on something in my throat. Went to priority primary care first thing the next morning with the feeling of something stuck in my throat. Was diagnosed with uvulitis, prescribed steroids and antibiotics and when pain set in that day, prescribed pain killers by my GP. In pain and couldn't eat anything hot for 6 days. I was told later that they let that assistant go after that but I was disappointed they didn't say anything at the time and I didn't know what had happened. When I requested prescription costs of $33 be reimbursed and gave them a copy of the doctor's report the practice manager first questioned whether they were certain of the cause but did eventually reimburse me.
Negative experience: Im very much disappointed and disturbed about the fact that i have been to my pre-booked appointment with bupa dental belmont for tooth extraction with specialist consultation. The reception guys aren’t sure why my appointment don’t show when I’m 5mins away after receiving email notifications and sms notifications days ago and only to hear that they cant find my appointment and they forgot to send my referral letter with specialist days ago before they could remove tooth.i had to organise my kids to daycare or someone to look after and i had taken off from my work and just to make me convincing they had booked me in with other dentist which is of no use.I believe they often forget things which are supposed to be there job to do..i have realised on my first visit here they sent an email with out attachment and on my appointment day they made me to fill out application and to wait. And also they have given my referral on the appointment day and to be sure i rang up to the specialist just to got to know that specialist isn’t working anymore and left years ago. So they don’t even know whose working in and whose not. Completely useless service to get from Bupa dental belmont clinic.

Fantastic experience: Dr Asmono Truong is the best dentist. His assistant Carly and the admin Babra are amazing. I had a tooth extraction. It went extremely well. Dr Asmono is very thorough and professional in his job. He explained well and gave genuine opinions. The good experience with Dr Asmono is beyond anything. You feel at ease being in safe hands. Positive experience: Great people and nice dentist and she was also very funny which was a nice add on there receptionist was very nice and caring and was very quick on the computer great place but the couch next to reception wasn’t very comfortable

Fantastic experience: Treated by the best I would say! This is my first extraction ever and Dr Asmono was amazing- clear and concise in what he was saying. He asked me to listen and follow his instead and everything will be fine. I had some bleeding after the extraction but didn’t have a swollen face or unbearable pain. My extraction was quick and perfect. His assistant on Saturday 13.01 was so nice and professional If you want an excellent service I would recommend both! Thank you

Fantastic experience: Dr Devanshi Mistry at Bupa DentalGeelong South was excellent. She is extremely professional and made the whole experience of having root canal and clean exceptional.
Negative experience: Wisdom tooth removed Tuesday wouldn't stop bleeding called to check If ok advised by reception James, dentist would call back. Still waiting for return call! Still in excruciating pain assumed this was normal for wisdom tooth extraction. Called Saturday morning advising James that after I rinsed my mouth what looked like a blood clot had come out and still in pain told no appointments for today all booked but can get me in Tuesday!!! For someone who had a fear of the dentist you have now turned it into a phobia. Patient concern and duty of care is disgusting!!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough about Dr Asmono Truong, Barb and staff. Barb was so kind and understanding when I called about a concern I had. She went over and above to try fit me in. She kept me informed about how she was going and eventually managed to get me in the next day. That’s so much Barb for your kindness and understanding. Asmono has done considerable dental work for me; I have never smiled like a smile now. His kind nature and ‘can do’ approach is amazing. He explains everything and presents all the options for consideration. His work is exceptional and I am eternally grateful to him for my wonderful smile. I strongly recommend Bupa Dental care. Negative experience: Extremely rude receptionist. I made an appointment for a general check up and clean. ( which I was told was somewhere around $60 and that I am covered for) Before making the appointment I made sure to call the dental to check if I’m covered or not. The receptionist over the phone confirmed I am so I went ahead with the booking. Upon arriving at the dental I was greeted by an extremely rude receptionist. Couldn’t quite catch her name. But it was on the 26th oct 2022 morning. Not only was she rude to me but she was rude to an old couple who walked in regarding an appointment and the way she treated them was disgusting. After I was told I was covered for my appointment and after I had everything done with the dentist and when going to the reception I was told I wasn’t covered and had to pay $230 for a 10-15 check up I had. I called twice to check if I’m covered and both instances they assured I am. The least they could’ve done is mentioned that upon arriving for my booking and after taking my insurance details that I’m not. They had 3 instances to double check if I’m not covered or not. The receptionist was on her own world and didn’t check anything. Steer away from this place and please find a proper receptionist!

Fantastic experience: Dr Nimra Tahir fixed my teeth up great, would go again
Fantastic experience: I had not been to the dentist in years, but my dentist Laura and my nurse Carly were so warm and welcoming. I had two fillings done, and in the best possible way you can't even tell, they are flawless! I did have some trouble with my NIB card not working, but thanks to the practice manager Tiarn she had it sorted in no time completely stress free. The entire team at Bupa Dental Geelong South have been absolutely incredible and I will definitely be coming back.

Negative experience: Do not use these guys. Absolute con. Took my daughter in for a check up today and asked the cost. I was told it wouldn’t be more than $100. Went to pay after the appointment and was charged $235 I asked what this was for as we were in there for less than 10 mins and was told it was for removal of calculus. What the hell!!!! Wasn’t told about this in the room. Disgusting money grabbing con.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this Dentist for 4 yrs now and have never had a bad experience. Asmono is brilliant at what he does and always explains procedures to you and has a wonderful bedside manner. I was in the chair today for 1 1/2 hrs and never felt uncomfortable. The dental nurse Danielle was pleasant and had an exceptional bedside manner as well. They both made the experience more relaxing for me. 10/10 for them both. Thanks Asmono and Danielle.
Negative experience: I attended the clinic a few weeks ago and while I was sitting in the waiting room I witnessed the practice manger vaping in the reception area. I thought this was extremely unprofessional and in a healthcare setting I feel I should be taking this further. I few weeks prior to this I had an appointment and was told I needed to wait another 50 minutes as “our instruments aren’t clean and we don’t have any left”. I felt the nurse was very professional in telling me this information however for a large company I would of thought they would have enough instruments. I have attended this clinic for many years as I live close by and every time I drive past on Roslyn road I see the manager smoking in her uniform at the side door. I will not be returning to this clinic. I hadn’t posted a review until now as I needed help from my daughter to post a review.

Negative experience: I would give 0 star if I could, the receptionist Dianelle is extremely rude and bulling customers, she interrupted my conversation with another receptionist out of no where. And had the nerve of accusing me being rude. I had a feeling I was being racially targeted because I don't speak Aussie English. Pity I have to change clinic after many years going here. I just got off the phone with Bupa, and they confirmed that this clinic overcharged me for a clean up and check, I have both hospital and extra covers with Bupa, that means I shouldn't be paying, but they still charged me for the visit. It might have been intentionally done or not, can 't be sure, just can't trust this clinic any more.

Negative experience: Incredibly rude receptionist. I have witnessed her being unpleasant to elderly patients and she basically hung up the phone on me when I called to cancel an appointment. I will no longer be returning to this clinic.

Negative experience: After a dental appointment in November, I contacted the practice manager to raise some concerns I had around adequate information and communication as well as professional service. Bupa Dental have been very slack in responding to my concerns - both the Geelong South practice as well as Bupa's general complaints team. 2 1/2 months later I am still waiting to have these concerns addressed . Customer service does not seem to be a high priority.

Fantastic experience: I have attended this clinic for some time and recently had some extensive dental work done. I cannot speak highly enough of Nas and his team. From the reception staff through to the nurses and especially Nas the service has been absolutely topnotch. All staff are friendly, helpful and totally professional. Nas is patient, caring and an amazing dentist. Highly recommended.
Negative experience: My husband and I both went in for appointments with different dentists at the same time. We both felt like they were rude/demeaning to us. There are plenty of dentists around... we dont need to pay to have someone be rude. I mentioned this to the reception staff who also did witness it happening. Having said that, I think they're technically competent from what I could tell... I just have no desire to go to them again.

Negative experience: Dr. Nasser Al Obeidy is worst dentist I have seen in my life, he is not having the mental status to be doing this job. He is short tempered and aggressive in nature , he gets agitated during the procedure and leaves the patients in middle and just walks away, refuses to treat.

Dr Nass is so gently and caring when it come to injections or anything that may discomfort you. I always walk out of the clinic with a smile and more importantly without any pain. Fantastic experience: DR Nas is one of the best dentist I have come across, very gentle and thoughtful when it comes to his patients. It is very hard to find a dentist who you can fully trust. I have done several expensive dental work and have been very happy with his work. Very efficient and they use the latest equipment that you even cannot even find in many dental clinics in Melbourne in their clinic. I travel from Melbourne to his clinic just for his great work. Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Nassier Al Obedy for approximately 10 years when he bought the practice from Dr. Tofler who had been our family dentist for the preceding 20 years. We immediately noticed a difference as Dr. Al Obedy brought the latest of dental techniques to the practice and over the years he has continued to keep abreast of new techniques and acquiring new equipment and technology, making his practice a state of the art concern. Over the years he has performed a number of different types of treatment on me and my wife ranging from adhesive tooth restorations, root canal procedures, fitting of crowns and the fitting of full implants. He even performed a difficult surgical root canal procedure on me through the side of my gums thereby saving one of my molars from a certain extraction. I have full confidence in Dr Al Obedy as he has always given me options and the proper advice as to the most economical and appropriate treatment. I give him full credit for us having healthy dental conditions whilst in our middle and late sixties. I must add that Dr Al Obedy employs excellent and friendly staff which makes a visit to his practice an enjoyable experience. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for about 4 years having swapped from another supplier. In that time I have had a number of serious problems fixed by Dr. Nas Al Obedy with more than satisfactory outcomes. A visit to the Dentist has become a pleasant event and I recommend this service to all.
Fantastic experience: I've been a client of this practice for many years and recommend it most highly to anyone. The reception staff are always most patient and kind and Dentist Nass is lovely. He goes out of his way to look after you. I've needed emergency treatment on 2 occasions and he has given up lunch breaks and created extended appointments at very short notice in order to treat me.
Positive experience: A generally pleasant place. It wpuld have been better if one of receptionist were a bit more polite and patient.
Negative experience: Terrible service. Nassier glued my teeth and told me it is working for couple of years. After 11 month I had a problem and I met him to refix. He refused to do that and charge me again for nothing. Shameful behavior and customer services. He also filled another teeth but the job was again uncomplicate and disapointing therefore I had to root canal and spend couple of thousands on my teeth. Never recommend this terrible center to everyone.
Negative experience: Dr Asmono Truong seems like a good dentist, unfortunately he is easily agitated.
Fantastic experience: I just looked up phone number on google and saw the reviews so I wanted to add one from my previous experience. I went to Family Dental Care in Belmont. My dentist was so thorough when he cleaned my teeth and very honest, He replaced a cap and it matched perfect to the rest of my teeth. I was very impressed and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)
