Fantastic experience: Feels like the first time I’ve felt heard by a dentist - Dr Chowlam and Dr Kumar have been fantastic during my treatment. Very transparent around what treatment options are available and the costs they incur. I needed emergency care this week and the clinic was able to see me within a couple of hours, and were able to quickly manage my pain.

Fantastic experience: Dr Naveena was awesome. Very happy with my treatment and highly recommend the clinic to anyone. Staff were very friendly and felt welcomed.

Negative experience: Not a Kid Friendly experience. Took my 6 year old daughter to Dr.Tashmita. Doctor is not trained to handle the kids. Inserted a substandard X Ray film and caused distressed. Later suggested to do a 3D Xray as the kid is in distress costing more. Later came to a point where she decided to do the filling. Not experienced on how to handle a kid for the needle. In the end had to wind down paying $210 without any progress.

Positive experience: I would rate my experience about 3 stars because l felt that the staff here were great and very caring during my wisdom tooth extraction as well as in communication.However l did feel that as a anxious person there would have been more options weighed for me in regards to pain management before the extraction..throughout the whole local chair anesthetic l felt everything and the pain was too much for me to bear l even cried at some point.My tooth was too close to the nerve and horizontal it took about 2 hours to remove, l felt l should have been prepped more about the pain even offered a pill or something.overal they are good staff at the practise but could be better.

Fantastic experience: After trying to find an emergency after hours dentist, this was the only one who offered to help me. Dr Dasari came back into the surgery just to help myself and another patient after hours. Dr Dasari was a very good dentist and was able to save my tooth which had cracked and a big piece had come away which was cutting my tongue. She was a life saver, I was in extreme pain. I highly recommend Atwell Smiles and will be going back.

Negative experience: very bad service, my appointment was at 10am, I arrived at 9:45 and she turned up for work at 10:30 without any communication, the lady at the desk didn't said anything about the dentist was late...very poor communication

Fantastic experience: My 7yo daughter required a permanent plate as she was a terrible thumb sucker. The dentist and supporting staff were so kind and patient with the installation process, my daughter wasn’t scared and fondly said, when do I get to go Back to see the nice lady. Plate was on for 6 months, taking the plate off was quite the ordeal through no fault of the dentist, just a nervous little kid. They were cool, calm and collected when I was losing my cool with my daughter. Eventually they calmed her down and removed it. Big thanks to the team!!! Well done

Negative experience: Terrible dental work! Dr Chowlan was sick but still working with a mask on. Coughing and spluttering which saw her leave the room on numerous occasions to cough. She was rough, ruthless and hit many of my other teeth with the utensils she was using. She went to start a filling, rubbed numb gel on gum and less than 10secs later she jabbed me with a needle and I could feel it all. I told her this and she waited a few seconds and went again. No change. The whole 40min procedure they were squirting water into my mouth whilst grinding however the dental nurse was not sucking it out and I was chocking on the water which saw me lunge up many times and I couldn’t breathe. I complained numerous times, but it kept happening. The dental nurse was not working in sync with the dentist and it was an absolute mess of service! Was an awful experience and I will not be returning, I made a verbal complaint to receptionist / office manager who said he would follow up, but has had. I sent a SMS of complaint only to be told someone would contact me the day after, No contact. We are now day 5 post procedure and still no follow up call from business owner, practise manager or anyone else.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely great team, they saw me even when the windows crash happened and didn't charge me for a procedure or xray and promptly fit me in, with all the drama going on that day i appreciate that i was prioritised and looked after. Feel great the next day and shall go there next week and sort it out on hbf to make sure they get paid even though they said it was alright. very understanding and professional. Great with anxiety issues. 10/10 thanks again.

Negative experience: Will not be attending the practice again. The dentist will order test that is not necessary. I have to object because it means I have to pay more for things that are not important. In retaliation, she did an xray of my son's tooth (same tooth) twice and of course charged me twice. Not even asking for my financial consent about the second xray.

Negative experience: Very disappointing dentist Clinic no Effect

Negative experience: I had an extraction on Tuesday from Dr Deepika Chowlam and I kept saying to her that the anaesthetic hadn't worked yet. She put more in, but it hadn't worked. I had literally just said that it hadn't worked yet and she started ripping my tooth out with my lip under the tools. This was directly after she shoved xray film in my mouth, so hard that it cut my mouth, then kept telling me to shut my mouth.... err, I can't, the film is hard and digging into my flesh. Of course the image wasn't what she needed, because it wasn't in the correct position, so I was threatened with having to have a whole big xray, "and that costs more". I use a wheelchair, I can't stand for an xray, "so we have to do this then" and start shoving film roughly into my mouth again with no mind to my comfort. She kept trying to shut my mouth with the film in the wrong place again, and then magically it fell into place and closed easily and without pain. This was after approximately 7 minutes of her fighting with my jaw and me having cuts to the bottom of my mouth from her roughness. So back to the extraction. I could feel the entire thing. I kept telling her it hurt. She kept telling me I needed to be brave. "But I am certain I can feel the entire thing", I tell her. She jabs me with yet another needle and IMMEDIATELY goes back to pulling my tooth out. By this point I had told her that my medical condition needs more anaesthetic, and showed her Google school articles for proof. She said she would stop any time I raised my hand. She did NOT. Due to needing assistance because of being in a wheelchair, I had taken a support worker with me in case the place wasn't accessible etc (it was), she ended up having to yell out to get the dentist?? to stop as she later said she just wanted to keep going and get it done. So all in all, if you want an authentic torture experience, or to get information out of your children, I would thoroughly recommend Dr Deepika Chowlam, otherwise I would recommend doing almost anything else with your day. Clearly you have a sore tooth...get it out by literally anybody else before considering this dentist, she is rough and doesn't listen, even when you are almost curled in a ball legs and arms curled and writhing in agony, crying and begging her to stop. I was also advised they would phone me to check on me the next day, something I saw reception do to another client whilst I was there. This didn't happen for myself, but the receptionist was a lovely and friendly woman. The one star I had to give, is all for her (and she deserves more). Just don't do it to yourself. Stay away from that dentist.

Fantastic experience: I booked an extraction with this dental office and I missed my first appointment and they were very friendly about it and didn’t charge me for not showing up as I’d thought it was scheduled for the day after, fast forward a couple weeks and my extraction this morning was difficult but the staff were very friendly, caring and understanding considering the pain I was going through at the time. Fantastic experience: Went here earlier to see Quan about a routine checkup and examination. I have had a rather irritating feeling on a tooth that had persisted for a few years even recently after getting a filling done elsewhere. I only wanted to have that tooth looked at but Quan was so impressive at his work, he was able to quickly and effecitvely figure out the problem with not just that tooth but many other issues that have plagued my teeth all my life that other dentists had not paid attention to before all in a very friendly and professional manner. This review is in no way influenced by knowing Quan personally before booking my appointment but I was so impressed at the comprehensive and inuitive attention to detail Quan gave and his clear and concise delivery that I would be more than happy to make him my regular dentist and would recommend anyone living in Cockburn or even Cannington where I'm based to visit Quan and the team for all of your dental enquiries.

Fantastic experience: Bought our 2 kids (14,12) for routine checkups just before school went back. Kids loved them. Very friendly and professional. Then last night my son (12) at 5pm managed to snap one of his front teeth. We managed to get him to the clinic to find these guys all ready to go home but did they turn us away ??
