Negative experience: Staff are quite polite and facilities clean and tidy. However, the dentist didn’t bother coming to my appointment and was a total waste of time. In addition to this the practice harasses me with unsolicited requests questionnaires, reviews and ratings (that I cannot opt out of)… well here you have it, hope it helps!!!!

Fantastic experience: Broke a tooth while travelling through Adelaide. Tried walking into a couple of other dental practices for an emergency appointment with no luck. The receptionist at Bupa dental was extremely kind and helpful. Dr. Marcus was amazing, a true professional with a calm and reassuring demeanor. Explained everything very well and did not rush. Fantastic experience: Over the past few months, I’ve been seeing Dr. Shelley Chee at Bupa Dental for my regular check-ups, and it’s been such a positive experience. Fantastic experience: Dr Maribel Vesga is a great dentist! My daughter’s first bad teeth gave her bad experience which was removed the nerve root, so she is so afraid of teeth treatment. Other dentist was so hard to do filling and seal, only fluoridize them. Dr Maribel and Assistant Sarah are so patient for my daughter and gave four bad teeth filling and seal so quickly and so nice! My daughter and I are so luck to have this wonderful experience!

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit at Bupa Dental on Grenfell Street with Dr Maribel Vesga and it was a wonderful experience. Dr Vesga was incredibly kind, patient and answered all of my questions and had me feeling at ease and understanding the process. The reception staff were very kind and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I have been here before, but this time Vanessa was soo kind to me … she didn’t make me feel bad for how my teeth looked! She was treating me like a mother to their child! Very compassionate! Will always be her client and also Dr Marcus! Really kind towards patients/clients and the Assistant Manager (i think her name was Natasha?) and the receptionist sally? Forgot the names but your smiles and your kind words will always stay in my heart ☺️ Thank you ☺️

Fantastic experience: Really lovely people. After living with a wisdom tooth which was self extracting for 3 months, I was lucky enough to get a same day appointment. Given it was my first dental visit in 30 years, I had a lot to be fearful of, or so I thought. Everyone in this clinic was very personable and kind. The dentist himself was both skilled and reassuring. I now have an achievable dental plan which with my healthcare is very affordable and my next visit is in 2 weeks - not 30 years haha.

Fantastic experience: Staff at this BUPA dental is v v easy going, giving the best dental service as well as no pains no issues where I have had very critcial condition of my teeth. Doctor Muhammad Qasim and receptionist Maha & Lorena guided me very well about the detailed future care plan. I would recommend everyone to see the BUPA fairfield and dont go to the ordinary dental practise because its about your health which has a direct impact. Thanks all BUPA staff for giving hope and quality service.

Negative experience: I did crown and filling today. Dentist is professional and friendly. However, assistant is absolutely joke. Don’t know what to do and give and continually smashing door when open and close drawer which is so annoying. Sucktion pit too deep and Almost throw up. X-ray they took was not informed before the operation and only found out when I am at the counter to pay. Then person at the counter is not friendly and very robotic and also trying to over charge me and luckily I noticed and pointed out but still paid $50 more for X-ray. I asked tooth brush set but she did not look want to after spend almost $2000 and only gave 1 piece tooth brush not even pack. Totally disappointed.

Positive experience: They are 5-star wonderful when you finally get an appointment - but O stars for their over-subscription - it's a 3 month wait just for a cleaning.

Negative experience: Very outstanding result after few months !! I had 4 teeth treatment without any pain before. But the dentist said I need to do the teeth filling, then I trust her. I did the treatment few times and keep saying not comfortable the previous teeth filling. The doctor said looks all good. Looks? Now, I had 2 teeth cause nerve pain need to the root canal. Another 2 teeth start pain again. I know, these teeth still looks all good, but pain is pain. I know what is uncomfortable feeling. That unforgettable nerve painful memories all thanks from this Bupa Dental. It will following my whole life with bad teeth.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was met on time. The receptionist was most helpful with all the CoVid necessaries. Maddy, the hygienist for the day was great, explaining as she did her work. The rooms are clean and restful, well equipped for individual attention.

Negative experience: not very friendly, and they did further services such as x-ray and photos without advising any further charges, which I discovered when I needed to pay gab-charges at the end.

Negative experience: Awful experience here. Staff did not explain their process or why I was seeing multiple people. Dentist was terrible, seemed extremely inexperienced. Huge bill at the end which was not expected for a simple checkup and clean. Only redeeming factor was the hygienist was lovely. Walked out feeling traumatised when previously never had a problem going to the dentist. Where also difficult to deal with when requesting my xrays be sent to another dentist.

Negative experience: I had some teeth filling done in January this year, by June, 2 of them had come off. As I couldn't book a dentist the following day to fix up my situation, I had to have my filling done by a hygienist. When the hygienist injected the anethesia, it was too close to my nose, resulting in a very very painful nose for the week after. I dont normally write reviews however this was my experience and Im still coming to Bupa because that is the Health care I am with.

Fantastic experience: highly recommend i see Dr Angela Pierce shes the best , she does my teeth on Tuesday i had no pain she will definately be my preferred dentist and hygenist from now on

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr Victor Butnejski and Hygienist Teri Bueti today at Bupa Dental on Grenfell st. Both were absolutely wonderful in the work undertaken and especially in explaining everything and providing options going forward. The facilities they have here are amazing and new, with high tech equipment and a great compuer program to notate all of their observations. I particularly liked how they showed me what was wrong and options to fix it on the screens rather than just verbally. These two will definately be my preferred dentist and hygenist from now on.

Fantastic experience: I was treated by Dr Ashminder, had a great experience, would definitely recommend her!

Negative experience: I had no pain or visible issues when I walked-in the clinic, I wanted to do a check-up and a clean (I wasn’t given the complementary dental package after the clean which is a standard practice in all clinics). I saw the dentist and she did X-rays and advised that I need to do 2 fillings. She did the 2 fillings about 2 months ago and I still cannot eat at all on one of the fillings (and can’t eat hard food on the other even though its on a different side). I went back few times about this, only to be told at the end that I need to see a specialist (just like the same scenario as the previous review). The other option I was given is to do a root canal (which is basically killing the root so that I don’t feel the pain). I requested that they pay for the specialist check-up fee because the damage was done/felt post-treatment. They rejected my request and their office manager said to me (while literally laughing at my concerns) that this (post-treatment damage and customer dissatisfaction) happens all very often, implying that this is not a special case!!!! So, according to their office manager, post-treatment damage and customer dissatisfaction are common experiences at the Bupa Dental clinic. I have talked to a lawyer and will be filing a complaint within the department. The message for everyone here: AVOID this clinic or go at your own cost – walking out with damaged teeth is apparently a very common experience at the Bupa dental clinic.

Negative experience: I made an appointment to see a dentist at Bupa Dental in the city (Grenfell Street), to assess my sore teeth and gum. I had a treatment on my teeth at Riken Dental practice the day before and I did not feel well after the treatment. Riken dental suggested I should see a dentist in another practice as their dentists were booked out. The dentist I was offered to see at Bupa Dental was Ashminda Kaur. She said that to examine my sore teeth she needed to floss between them. As soon as she pressed the floss between my teeth I jumped from the pain. She attempted to do it again and I jumped from the pain again. I asked Ashminda to at least apply something to the tooth to relieve the pain. In return she said that the appointment was finished. She advised me to splash the cash and see a dental specialist, who would know how to treat my teeth properly and would have better materials and sufficient experience. I was shocked from that statement. There I was sitting in a well equipped dental room and the dentist was telling me that she was not experienced enough and did not have proper materials to do a satisfactory treatment. She also mentioned that neither of the other Bupa Dental dentists would be able to help me. I left in tears as I was in a lot of pain. I would not recommend dentist Ashminda Kaur to anyone as I found her careless.
