Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Garran Dental Woden. Our family has been attending for the past 4 years and have found their service to be professional and caring. The dentists are always patient and understanding with our children's anxiety during their visits. I also feel comfortable during my visits and confident that I am in safe hands. My husband and I have had major dental such as crowns and veneers and have been very happy with the whole process and the outcomes. Even though we have moved out of the area, we are still happy to attend due to excellent service.

All the staff members I have encountered have been genuinely kind, informative, and helpful. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with a huge, warm smile that helped settle some of my nerves. From the moment of scheduling an appointment to checking out after my visit - everyone was happy, nice and attentive to what I wanted in a dental experience. No hard sell on services or products that you don’t want. Dr Shweta Goyal, in particular, is an incredibly empathetic and encouraging dentist. I admire her philosophy of educating patients on all options, sifting through all risks and benefits of each and then letting autonomy play out the rest. She is transparent about what she feels comfortable accomplishing in her practice and truly wants the best outcome for her patients. Dr Shweta helped me with chipped tooth repair, general dental clean-up, sensitive tooth treatment, root canal treatment, dental crown and a few unexpected emergencies over the years. The team truly made me feel comfortable, and I feel grateful to have found this practice. I truly love this place. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Called for emergency appointment to fill my chipped tooth and when I get there after they take a X-ray they say they don’t have time to fill it. Book another appointment and pay for another appointment. Unsure of why I wasn’t told they couldn’t do the filing at the time of appointment when i specifically asked can they do a filling. Then charge me for the appointment. Worst dentist.

Fantastic experience: Since first seeing Dr Shweta Goyal in 2019 I have had nothing but outstanding dental care. I have had several large fillings/dental works done on my mouth, all of which resolved my issues and have not since returned. I have recently seen Dr Sonal Magar and put her in the same regard as Shweta. They both provide very clear and insightful information about what is being done to my teeth, why it is being done and are very thorough. They take a lot of pride in their work and for these reasons I recommend this practice to my family/peers. The dental assistants and reception are all lovely and I’ve had nothing but great experiences coming here. I recommend this practice to anyone seeking long lasting and quality dental care :-)

Her manner was very gentle and she consistently communicated with me regarding the progress of the check-up and she clearly explained the outcomes of my visit.

When I first started seeing Dr Shweta, I had a painful infected tooth and she explained everything as she was treating me and gave me options on her recommended treatment, fully explaining the costs of the different options and what would be involved in the treatment with no pressure to choose the most expensive option at all. Today I went in for a check-up and clean and was in and out in half an hour, very professional and efficient! The practice is very new and modern, very clean and a good location with free parking.
