Fantastic experience: I had a dental checkup and clean/polish at Doan Dental Care. I then came back for a filling last week. My dentist on both occasions was Hannah Pham. I had first seen Hannah a year or so ago when I needed an emergency tooth extraction when my regular dentist at the time (Ryan Liang) was working at another clinic that day. Ryan has since then left to start his own clinic. Hannah is now my regular dentist. Hannah is very thorough and careful. She is confident and experienced. She is also very polite and considerate. I strongly recommend Hannah Pham. I taught both Ryan and Hannah undergraduate biochemistry when they were still at uni years ago, so glad to see them progressing in their careers.

My family have been going to Doan Dental Care for many years and happy to continue for checking up and cleaning every 6 months also treatments if there are problems . In my recent visit for teeth cleaning, I was made aware that my gum was infected. A treatment plan was drawn up, and follow-up appointments were made for me to have the gum disease treated. Their staff are very friendly, courteous and always make me feel relaxed. Dr Nghiem Doan is very knowledgeable, he can explain complicated treatments and procedures with ease. Fantastic experience: Nine years ago I was seeking a local dental practice that used IV dental sedation when necessary. I have an extreme sensitivity to the shrill noise of any dental drill which I find unbearable. Dr Nghiem Doan continues to show me great understanding and compassion by finding multiple caring ways to ensure regular dental work can be undertaken while my needs are accommodated. His staff are friendly and unobtrusive as they go about their various support roles. Our local community is indeed fortunate to have this progressive practice on our doorstep.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for the last 10 years. In that time and in addition to the regular clean and check ups, I have had my braces done here, permanent retainers, all four wisdom teeth extracted and Dr Doan was also able to help me with my sleep apnea by getting in the mouth piece apparatus, which I find is much better than the C-PAP machine. In the past 10 years I have had dealings with multiple front office staff and Dentists and they all have been very helpful and pleasant to deal with. It has been a one stop shop for me and I highly recommended Doan Dental to all my family and friends.

Fantastic experience: Very detailed explanations and I felt like all small issues were diagnosed and solutions presented before they have the potential to become bigger problems. I saw both Justin and Ryan and they were both fantastic. Got two crowns done and Ryan made sure that the sitting, color and texture were perfect. Sadly though, Justin has left and Ryan will be as well soon. But all in all, I couldn’t have asked for better dentists.

Fantastic experience: What a great experience. All staff are very nice and professional.Cannot say enough about Dr Doan, absolutely the best dentist I've ever been to. He is amazing in all areas, especially in tooth implants, braces etc. No pain, he has magical hands and very experienced in the field. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: The first consultation with Dr Doan said I needed 6 implants and10 crowns with a bridge 95% successful rate written by him, I had suffered from pain, bleeding and bruises for almost 10 days, the second day after the first surgery I was very sick and visited my family doctor said because too much residual blood had been swallowed, Then about a year later when I was fitted the crown all 6 implants were failed and loosened the X-ray noted unsuccessful treatment,The full refund was not returned $1100 deducted for the artifical bone used on the surgeries Dr Doan took some bone from my lower jaw to combine with the artifical bone.The dental clinic is using a dental therapist & Hygienist to do Orthodontic work.Every word is truth and fact.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service! Saved me a fortune at their own expense, and now i smile in every photo where i never used to. Recommend them to anyone even if you want to get a 2nd opinion from the one your usual dentist provided.

Fantastic experience: The standard of care I receive here is second to none. I wouldn't risk my teeth (or my children's) anywhere else. The level of expertise & cutting edge equipment aside, having everything explained to me prior in great detail, always gives me such a level of comfort. Something one doesn't always expect to experience at 'the dentist' :) I have no problem when people revert to their native tongue. To me that's not rude. People need to learn tolerance & perhaps kindness. Some of the staff may be a bit shy, in general, they are always accommodating & helpful, ready with a smile. You get what you give. As for the billing, for the amazingly high standard of treatment, I honestly don't know how they've always kept the costs as low as they have. And I've done a lot of comparisons over the years! Been a client for over 15yrs now & a very grateful one at that.

Negative experience: I found the previous review very interesting.I actually changed local dentists because of the similar issues.The receptionists are just not client focused.I found on just about every visit the staff leave you to stand and wait and wait and continue to talk to other staff members in their language right in front of you.They are in no hurry even if you may be.I did find the dentist helpful and gave good explainations of procedures.However,Billing is unusual.They over estimate the cost of your services.They then show you they have discounted a fair amount off that price.It's than that they show you the final amount so it looks like a big discount.I checked item numbers with my health fund for the item costs and they weren't discounting at all.In the end I found a dentist locally just as good without these issues.

Negative experience: Excellent dentists, Always explained procedures well.However,I have found on numerous occasions now that the receptionists are quiet rude and stand offish.They are the same on the phone.Their poor communication and service really lets the rest of business down.Its certainly made me ponder moving on to another dentist.
