Everyone is so calm, friendly and inviting. If you have a fear of going to the dentist, this is the place for you. I actually think this experience is rewiring my nervous system

Fantastic experience: I would like to begin this review by sharing my lifelong fear of dentists, which, although perhaps somewhat irrational, is very real for me. My partner first had the privilege of receiving care from Niall, who came highly recommended by a friend. He encouraged me to visit Niall for my follow-up, and I am so glad I did. Niall, along with his wonderful team, is truly kind, and by my second visit, I found myself feeling more at ease than I had ever anticipated in a dental chair. It’s important to recognise the significantly positive effect that compassionate and empathetic healthcare can have on patients. Equally commendable is the quality and consistency of Niall's work, which I have found to be both affordable and fair in terms of treatment recommendations and pricing.

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely appointment at the dentist for the first time in a while, I will definitely make this my regular spot! Reception was kind and my dentist Nat was so gentle and gave me as many breaks as I need throughout my teeth cleaning which usually I dread! Fantastic experience: Just had an appointment with Laura, the dental hygienist. She was honestly so lovely. She asked me about my dental hygiene practices and in passing I mentioned that I have adhd and that I have sound sensitivities. She immediately told me to let her know if I was uncomfortable regarding sounds at any point and frequently checked in on me. Laura was gentle, took the time to explain things to me and answer my questions. No one wants to go to the dentist but I think its all the more easier when you find someone who relaxes the process. What a gem. Thankyou Laura, see you in 6 months!

Fantastic experience: Omg had such an Amazing experience here. Sarah’s attention to detail is Exceptional plus her bedside manner is second to none , so caring and proffessional. The work was done efficiently even with my time limit. I have had awful experiences in the past, yet Sarah alleviated my anxiety about being at the dentist and rectified my trust in dentists. Fantastic experience: I saw Sarah for a check up and Laura for a clean and both were thorough, friendly and knowledgeable. The thing I love most about this dentist is that I never feel like I am being upsold- which I have pretty much always felt at other dentists I have gone to in the past. I really appreciated the honest service and being given alternative options before perhaps having to go through unnecessary or expensive treatment. 10/10 would recommend.

I have always struggled going to the dentist after a traumatic experience as a child, and then a series of fillings my teenage and adult life where I was made to feel guilty. Sarah is wonderful, I have never felt judged by her and she is so gentle and welcoming. I would now say my experience at the dentist is an enjoyable one. Fantastic experience: When you walk into the Northside Dentist, the first thing you notice is it smells like a spa, with modern decor - this is not your usual dentist. I’m thankful to report the service and professionalism of their dentist, Sarah, matches the initial good first impressions of this establishment. She took her time to explain when I had questions, she completed a very thorough examination and clean. I would highly recommend Northside Dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have had many bad dental experiences, and was hesitant coming to Northside Dentist. BUT! Niall and Shannon were absolutely AMAZING. They were so kind and assured me I was under great hands. They were right!! I had a root canal which was completely painless. Best experience, although I still uncontrollably shake a little it seems to be no worries. Look forward to seeing them again and have referred friends who also give rave reviews. Thanks so much team ☺️

Negative experience: Had to go in multiple times (Like 4) for recurring tooth pain and was told the same thing every time > that it might be a filling, i might need a metal band, i'd might need a root canal, I might need to wait for more than 6 weeks for the pain to go away because the filling hadnt settled down - However after a very short visit to Reservoir Smiles (Would recommend) I found out the issue was gum irritation/inflammation and after using $15 Salvaco mouthwash the pain is totally gone. I'm now hundreds of dollars out of pocket for a filling I didn't even need in the first place. Dont waste your time, you wont be listened to properly or taken seriously.

Fantastic experience: This place is so great. I haaaate going to the dentist but the staff and the whole place is welcoming and friendly and you really feel like you're part of the community, especially dealing with Shannan. Dr. Niall seems thoroughly professional and is really good at explaining what needs to happen and why. I even go for 6 month checkups now, like a real adult.

Fantastic experience: Really happy with the work Nial has done over the years from general check ups to an implant a couple years ago. Very thorough in explaining options, the procedures itself and has some very calming mannerisms (perhaps the background music helps)! I even followed him across from the other side of town from his old clinic (not creepy at all) !

Negative experience: asked for advice as my teeth had built up plaque despite regular brushing. he laughed at me and basically told me i was lying. i'll have to do my own research... what a joke

Fantastic experience: I had such a wonderful experience at The Northside Dentist. Wonderful service from the second I walked in the door. The whole team are friendly, approachable and well informed. I REALLY appreciate how upfront they are about cost as this is not what I have experienced at other dentists and it makes the process much more transparent and honest. Looking forward to going back!

Fantastic experience: I love that we have a local dentist with a genuine and well-deserved 4.9 stars!! I especially like Niall's effort to explain and talk through everything before beginning - so important in building a good experience, and too often missing in other medical interactions. The practice has a super friendly feel, and they even appreciate the importance of keeping the place not smelling 'too dentist-y' and grow beautiful plants and sometimes burn candles just to make it that extra bit comfortable for all! So nice to see wholesome motivations build a properly good dentist's practice

Fantastic experience: 100% BEST DENTIST of all time. I used to be a nervous patient. Since visiting Niall and Shannon a few months ago they have helped me with necessary dental work I had been putting off. I have had several visits and it’s been a real fun time, we have laughed, we have cried (ok just me, once), and we have become the best of friends (pretty sure). I really didn’t used to go well at the dentist and now I’m totes fine. Their clinic has beautiful tree pictures, is spacious with state of the art equipment and they have VERY reasonable prices.
