Fantastic experience: We are very lucky to have such a good dentist in our community. I have been going to Dr Basil for around 5 years now and always get excellent care and advice. I feel that Dr Basil really cares about his patients and their dental health. He has a knack for his patients' pain management, including his special anaesthetic gel. Apart from the usual cleaning and checkups, Dr Basil did a crown for me a couple of years ago which went really well, and last year I decided to get an implant for an upper tooth. It's quite a lengthy process, but Dr Basil and Tracy guided me through it. I am delighted with the result. I think it's a better option than root canal therapy. An excellent dentist!

Fantastic experience: Basil has been my dentist for over 25 years now. He has treated my whole family including my 3 sons. He is professional and caring. He identified nasal problems and referred us onto an ENT specialist. He has treated my children’s orthodontic problems with care and sensitivity. I would recommend him for affordable and caring dental and orthodontic work.

Fantastic experience: I recently started seeing Dr Basil and couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, and always answers my questions without making me feel rushed. I really appreciate that he looks at the bigger picture-not just my teeth. I usually feel quite anxious during dental work, but Dr Basil talked me through each step and checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable. I feel genuinely cared for and confident in his approach, and I’ll definitely be continuing with him as my regular dentist.

Negative experience: Very inconsiderate to female patients. I had explained a discomfort about his lower belly resting against my face during the procedure. He told me to let him know if it happened again, and when I raised the issue again he went into a rant that I did not have the right to be uncomfortable and while distracted ranting, he caused minor nerve damage to the tooth he was working on and it is painful to chew on that side.

Negative experience: I have no idea why Dr Basil intentionally did this to me, his assistant saw him in eyes while filling my tooth and he drilled closer to my root and now after months I could feel the pain now.

Fantastic experience: Seriously life changing. I never leave reviews publicly but this practice deserves it! As a young woman who has been misunderstood by many doctors Dr Basil is amazing, listening, understanding and finding solutions that I thought would take months to get to. Not only did he lead a solution but walked me through each step of the active process as-well as future process to reach what’s best for me and my teeth wellbeing. Very personal, respectful and just absolutely amazing! My understanding of dentists have been changed forever thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I had a good feeling about this place (not to be mistaken with ‘Dentists in Annerley’) from the many positive reviews, high google score, super easy website/booking system and attitude when I called. I was not disappointed and would not look any further if you are as particular about your teeth as I am. I requested the last appointment as I knew I was going to be high maintenance after 12 months of neglect, and although I don’t want to say too much, in case I put unnecessary expectations on Dr Basil, all I will say is that he gave me 5 star personal treatment and $200 off with their introductory new patient offer - a steal at $145 for a comprehensive check up, X-rays and scale and polish. He has such a personable demeanour and even took extra time to show me my pics and send helpful YouTube videos for home care. My teeth are happy again :-) and I can’t thank Dr Basil and the team enough. Oh and easy parking too! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say thank you to the dentist that extracted my tooth a couple days ago. I had excruciateing pain in 2 upper side teeth and unless i had water physically on those teeth the pain would just build to almost shock within 3 seconds. I must have drank 50 liters of water in the final 12 hours. The pain was so immense I was prepared to rip my own teeth out if i couldnt get professional help. I was very lucky to be seen by this dentist and altho i only had a voucher for xxx dollers i was still seen to. The amazing part of all this is i was going to pull out the completely wrong teeth. The doctor actually discovered i had a dead nerve hidden under an old filling on the furtherest back tooth. So! Dont do your own dental work no matter how much pain your in Being inbetween jobs and houseing at the moment i would have really looked the part. Anyways thanks again i feel like i won the lotto

Fantastic experience: Dr Basil is really kind, patient and professional. I've been to other dentists and felt as thought there was always an effort to try and suggest more expensive and unnecessary procedures, and trying to rush you out the door to get the next patient in. Not with Dr Basil who is really clear and direct about what treatment you need and takes the time to make sure the job is done well - and the end result was surprisingly really affordable. Will definitely be visiting him again and recommending to my friends.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and professional. Overall great experience. Dr Basil picked up on the fact that I had a deviated septum from viewing a x-ray and refered me to see a ENT specialist. Dr Basil has identified serious nasal breathing issues I wasn’t even aware existed, and arranged referrals to relevant specialists. Fantastic experience: Its my absolute pleasure to be able to leave a wonderful review for Dr Basil and his staff. Im currently down staying in Brisbane staying for a few weeks and unfortunately been suffering with a nagging tooth ache that couldn't be left unattended any longer. Not only did I ring up and get a same day appointment but Dr Basil and his assistant stayed back after hours (on a Friday) to ensure that I left pain free. I can honestly say that I've never had a doctor be so thorough let alone a dentist. Dr Basil was friendly, informative, knowledgeable and genuinely cares for his clients. Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for years, always friendly service. Never wait, if your appointment is at 2pm you'll be in at 2pm. Text reminders a week before appointments, great dental work from Basil(and Vera) and their assistants.

Fantastic experience: Very knowledgeable and experienced professional, Dr Basil’s service is HIGHLY recommended, based on my experience of being his patient for 4 years. I started to see Dr Basil with no real dental care before and a poor dental health habit. I didn’t have any real dental care before I met him. I went to see him for the first time even didn’t brush my teeth, as I only brush teeth once a day in the morning. My gum bleed every time I brush. I thought I only need to see a dentist when there is a problem, like pain, massive bleeding, dental decay… I thought some bleeding when brushing teeth was normal! I went to see him because I got private insurance cover and a friend recommended me to. Dr Basil looks after my dental health seriously and thoroughly. He spent a long time examining my tooth and gum at the first time I saw him. He also checked my oral hygiene habit by asking how often and how much I drink alcohol, how frequent and how long I brush my teeth. Also, he asked other factors that might complicated my dental health like snoring. He told me that he was not happy with my dental health that some people may find it confronting. He listed what the issues with my oral health and gave me suggestions –need to floss well (and showed me how to) and brush teeth for at least 2 min each time and need to brush teeth at least 2 times a day after meals, best 3 times. He recommended electronic toothbrush which I found very good. Dr Basil keeps good record of my dental issues and progress by doing excellent note in his computer. He will talk about my dental issues including lifestyle factors related to dental health each time I see him, making sure he knows my issues and the progress. He also make sure that I, as the owner of good dental health, am looking after my tooth as well by doing the right thing. Dr Basil referred me to see a specialist when he knows there is an issue beyond his scope and sent me to the right specialist, who he knows is doing excellent job. Lastly, I have always found Dr Basil’s clinic and staff nice and comfortable to work with. I have always been very well looked after during each and every treatment sessions. By the way, very importantly, Dr Basil has always been very nice to his assistant. My dental health has greatly improved in the last several years. In addition, my awareness and knowledge of self-care for my teeth has greatly improved. I am very grateful for Dr Basil’s professional care of my oral health. Good result is a two-way street, both the dentist and patient need to look after their teeth appropriately.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Basil's for the past 17 years and there is a reason I keep going back - he always ensures I am comfortable in the chair, given I have sensitive teeth and gums. It's the little things that make it a bonus, like taking time to update your file to ask you how things are going the next time you have an appointment. Despite moving further and further away, I make the 45min trek in just to have that peace of mind that I won't be in agony in someone else's chair. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Basil for 14 or 15 years and have always found him courteous, friendly, professional and calming. His work is thorough. The other staff are also friendly and help to relax me. I have always hated going to the dentist, frequently working myself into a nervous state. Basil and staff are great. A few years ago I moved a little way out of Brisbane but I continue to make the trip for the courtesy and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr Basil since 2005 for my routine dental checks and cleans. Recently I had orthodontic work with braces to correct my bite and straighten my teeth. It was great to just go to one place to get everything done and working together on a plan that was going to suit me. I'm really happy with the outcome!

Fantastic experience: Dr Basil has been my dentist for over 20 years and he is an outstanding dentist and lovely fellow. He does complicated dental work with precision. Crowns and root canal work have always been successful and carried out painlessly with a caring attitude. I would highly recommend him. When Dr Basil branched into the DermaQuest skincare product range I thought I'd give it a go on his recommendation. The products are great and have made a real difference to my skin. I have also had facial treatments by Tracey who administers the 'Dermastamp Collagen Induction Therapy'. She is most professional and caring and I can already see and feel genuine changes in my facial skin. Basil and Tracey are both so keen to work with you to achieve what's most important to you in the improvement of your skin's health.

Negative experience: The receptionist was not friendly and I actually felt violated when I left. I felt as though i had been talked about and felt rather uncomfortable. I ended up not having any treatment there and finding a different dentist. Definately don't recommend this surgery.
