My dentist Adrian always explains everything throughly and clearly. I feel the care there is of an excellent high standard. Fantastic experience: HI team, thanks to Mai that repaired my broken front tooth after driving to Warrugal and my front tooth breaking on a muesli bar..I'm a theatre technician and was 5mins from the Warrugal Hospital for my shift when the tooth broke. I made an Online appointment ASAP with this dental practice. I was very stressed and embarrassed, Mai reassured me she could fix my tooth...she was very professional, kind, understanding and I would recommend her to anyone anxious or worried about a procedure...Mai was a superstar thanks again...5 stars

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr. Karim! unfortunately I had to extract my tooth as I had a cracked root, Dr Karim explained to me every single step through the process starting from the X-ray and why the tooth has to be pulled out as we didn’t have any other options. He was also compassionate and understanding as I was devastated about loosing a tooth, he recommended listening to a relaxing music during the procedure. In general, I received the best care ever. BTW thank you Dr Karim for applying lips balm during the procedure!

The whole experience at this clinic was really professional from the first appointment. Dr Karim and the team put a plan together and it was completed in a professional and timely manner. My wife decided to give a try with a new clinic for us: National Dental Care - Hughesdale. Dr. Ahmad and receptionist Deepika provided my wife & myself with exceptional service during our recent visit to the above mentioned dentist. From the moment I walked into the clinic, Deepika greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel comfortable. She efficiently handled all the paperwork and answered all my questions with patience and kindness. Dr. Ahmad, on the other hand, demonstrated a high level of expertise and professionalism. He carefully examined our teeth, explaining the procedure in detail and addressing any concerns we had. Throughout the treatment, he ensured our comfort and provided gentle care. Both Dr. Ahmad and Deepika worked seamlessly together, creating a pleasant and stress-free experience. I/we highly recommend this National Dental Care - Hughesdale dental practice for their exceptional service and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere created by Dr. Ahmad and Deepika.

Fantastic experience: I needed a root canal procedure done. And as you can imagine, wasn’t particularly looking forward to it. While I won’t be rushing back for another… I actually had a really excellent experience with Ahmad. The professionalism he employs, while also being lighthearted and cracking jokes during the procedure really helped with the anxiety I was feeling before my visits. You’re in good hands (or, his good hands in your mouth?) with Ahmad!

Fantastic experience: I had sore tooth and had an appointment and was checked by Dr. Ahmad, he was very professional, explained what was wrong with my tooth and had another appointment to remove the old filling and replace it with new one. On the day, Ahmad did the job in a very professional manner, stress free, no pain, and quick. Highly recommended! He’s the best!

Negative experience: Do not go here. I can’t stress it enough! I had been going to this dentist for a number of years for cleans etc every 6 months and my original dentist Dr Teo was amazing. Then he left and I was moved to Ahmad Al Taher. I spoke with him about a concern for my front tooth and he suggested 4 front crowns and insisted that was the best way forward. Initial appointment to discuss my wishes and reservations given I had 3 healthy teeth and altering them was alarming for me, considering the only invasive treatment I had had previously was for the trauma to my one front tooth, I don't even have any fillings in other teeth. After being talked into it, I was given a quote and paid a deposit. Next was preparation of the teeth and fixture of temp mould while teeth being made in the lab. I was called back a week later to be told a new mould needed to be made as the first was not good enough. Attended the appointment thinking I was getting a mould taken, once in the chair with my mouth open, I was given needles for numbing and more grinding took place for an hour - I was crying throughout as I was NOT told that would be happening and I felt incredibly scared and traumatised. Spoke to Ahmad after and he said he thought the receptionist had told me what needed to occur. Very little compassion. Returned 3 weeks later for crowns to be fitted. At the time I told Ahmad I had concerns about the look and feel of them, he brushed me off. I paid in full. I returned 3 days later to tell him I was not happy and wanted the lab to remake the teeth. I didn't pay almost $8000 to be unhappy and talk with a lisp. Ahmad said he would need to remove the teeth on the spot, prepare my teeth (nubs) again with more grinding and the previously healthy teeth may not survive the process as they had been ground down so much already, may require root canal or removal. I have since been to another dental clinic who have told me my teeth were not prepared properly. I need to have two root canals costing 2k each. I have a chronic abscess which should have been picked up by Ahmad had he done a proper investigation before crowning my teeth. I need to have a lot more invasive treatment by an endontist and then have all 4 re crowned. I can not tell you how much I regret having Australia unity dental and Ahmad in particular, do any of this to my teeth. Do not go here for anything more than a clean. I have complained to the practice manager who basically said oh sorry to hear that. No offer of fixing or reimbursement for any of what I paid to them. Awful follow up, awful service and no care shown what so ever. Just happy to take your money. I’m proceeding with legal action.

Negative experience: Messy and rushed, I have left the dentist clinic a couple of times with the dental cleaning fluid and toothpaste gunk smeared on my face. It’s really not that hard to not be messy, I will not be attending this clinic again.

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend this clinic more.I had a rather unique issue with a crown done 18 months ago which Karim took on himself to resolve. After checking the tooth, he asked if I could come back later that afternoon and he would do all he could to fix the problem as he had other patients to see. I received a call later that afternoon to return and Karim methodically was able to get the tooth right. This meant working back after closing time...I really appreciate the effort made by Karim and the team. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Our family has been seeing Dr Karim Farag for many years now. My two boys love him- really patient and gentle with them, makes the trip for a check up a breeze. His patient empathy and care is wonderful particular with major work undertaken over many months. The reception staff are all lovely- very welcoming and accommodating of any changes when required. Overall, a great practice, made even better by Dr Farag- we wouldn't see anyone else!

I regularly see the oral health therapist Misa for my check up and cleans and she is incredibly thorough. I see Dr Karim for my more in depth treatment like my root canal and crown, which I couldn’t fault. Both have been extremely caring and helpful towards me! It is so nice and convenient to have all the different services they offer in the one building. I couldn’t recommend the clinic more highly.

The reception staff and associate staff to the dentists have always been amazing each and every time I have had contact with them. Never came across such a professional and kind dental clinic in my previous years. A special mention to Misa who blows my mind with how exceptional she is in her practice. I have truly never met a dentist in her calibre of knowledge, care and attentiveness. After coming to her for for years, I took my 2yo daughter for her checkup and Misa won her trust within in minutes. Prior to this I had taken her to a Paediatric dental clinic which is no way matched the care and gaining of trust that Misa attained from my daughter in just one visit. I never thought that having a toddler trust enjoy a dentist visit was possible, but Misa took the time and energy to ensure it was! I couldn't recommend her more and will be doing so to all my family and friends. Thank you Misa for your exceptional service! Everything you do is truly appreciated!

Negative experience: Australian Unity Dental Hughesdale is terrible and their dentist Misa is the worst one I met in last 20 years. Before doing any dental check, she directly told me that my insurance account had budget $800 for this year and let us use it for today's check because I will have new budget for next year. Immediately I felt that I went to a wrong place where they just care about money, not patent at all.

Fantastic experience: Went for a general clean up and I’m happy to say that from the ladies at the reception till the dentist, every one was extremely pleasant and friendly. Dr. Rupan and her assistant (whose name I’ve forgotten cos I was so nervous) were extremely friendly and put me at ease. Will definitely go back for further check ups.
