Negative experience: Saw this dentist 2.5 years ago and they told me I needed a root canal based on an OPG, I was relocating at the time so followed up with a dentist in WA (had to save up for awhile) who proceeded to start an unnecessary root canal and found the root alive. Not only has the stress from this diagnosis been weighing on me all this time, but now I'm actually experiencing pain and infection due to this wrong diagnosis. I had no pain at all for the past 2.5 years until now and it should have been left alone!

Fantastic experience: Update** Need to again give this dentist 5 stars. I had Dr Sebastian fix a filling today which I’ve had done 6 times by multiple dentists that’s been giving me absolute grief for years and I have to say that this is the best it’s ever been done. His attention to detail and genuine care is extraordinary, you can tell he loves what he does. The nurse assistance was also fantastic, incredible bedside manner. Easiest dentist appointment I’ve ever had, I could’ve fallen asleep in the chair. Couldn’t recommend enough ☺️ Couldn’t recommend this dentist enough. It was my first time there today, and it was a great experience. I’m terrified of the dentist but Dr Talia and the nurse assistant was fantastic, the reception/admin team was also super friendly and welcoming and put up with me trying to sort out my health insurance for ages after my appointment It’s a bit of journey to get to but worth definitely travelling too, will continue coming back

I have had very bad experiences with dentists in the past, specifically with (past dentists) unkind bedside manner, minimizing/normalising my pain and total lack of care, compassion and transparency. I was so overwhelmed with anxiety at the start of my emergency procedure, that I was actually crying. From the team at the front, who were so kind, to Dr Sebastian and the nurse who did my clean. Then Dr Jy and the nurse that assisted him in the root canal. I felt safe, cared for, and I knew that I was in more than capable hands. Thank you so much team. I now have optimism and confidence to move forward with my dental plan. These words are not enough to let you know of my gratitude and humility. Thank you again. See you soon :)

Fantastic experience: Broke a tooth over the long weekend but managed to get an appointment with Adam first thing Tuesday morning. He took an x ray and explained the tooth would need to come out. I couldn’t believe how quick and painless he made it. Definitely recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr Rubinek is the greatest dentist in Australia. Gentle, caring, explains everything and despite being a Melbourne supporter, is an all round good guy. Been seeing him since the mid '80s. Great dental nurses too!
