I’ve always been really anxious about going to the dentist, but Dr. Swati Bedi completely changed that for me. She was so gentle and patient, and she explained everything she was doing along the way, which really helped calm my nerves. From the moment I sat in the chair, she communicated clearly and checked in often to make sure I was comfortable. I never felt rushed or judged—just cared for. By the end of my appointment, I actually felt relaxed, which I never thought would happen at the dentist! If you’re someone who gets nervous about dental visits, I can’t recommend Dr. Swati Bedi enough. She’s kind, understanding, and truly makes the whole experience stress-free.

Negative experience: Nice enough dentist and nurse. But, dreadful dentistry skills and customer service. This was my first appointment with a bupa dentist, and it turned out as everyone one had warned me. I was just another number that they had X amount of time to spend on. I went in for a clean and inspection and was out in 20 minutes. My partner thought I hadn't had anything done. No, I won't return. The tools used to do the partial clean were antiquated compared to my private dentist. The clean itself was a spot clean (only where plaquewas visibly evident), unlike my private dentist who scraps and picks each individual space. The use of the tools was rough and inconsiderate. And a lack of consideration for my fatigue to hold my mouth open, unlike my private dentist who constantly checks if I need a rest, and understands people can't hold their mouth open for 20 minutes straight. If this is Bupas policy for dentil treatments, I will never use a Bupa dentist again. I'd rather cop the out of pocket expenses and see my original private dentist.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service, Naj was fabulous with her customer service. The way she spoke to my 5yr old and treated him with such respect. Worth coming to see them at bupa. Even with going through the xrays with me and explaining what is needed to be done.

Re-cemented / fitted one of my crowns a year ago and 100% solved the cold sensitivity problem I had for 2 years with this crown (which was originally done at a different practice). 6 monthly cleaning routine done today - perfectly as usual!

Negative experience: Not recommended unless you want to have a nightmare of being ignored and treated horrible, with horrible outcome, not even considering a free check up only. They may proceed with some fillings without giving you time to think of.

Negative experience: Really inefficient clinic. It also damages Bupa’s image. Came here for my usual clean and they couldn’t see my extras coverage. They instructed me to go upstairs to their Bupa branch to sort it out, but I believe they have access to the same system and can easily find and sort it for me. I went to Bupa on the other side of the mall and it was an easy fix via the app on my phone, which the lady’s behind the Bupa dental counter could’ve easily done, if they even know the Bupa app themselves (I’d like to assume they do since it’s BUPA DENTAL). Anywho, I ran back in hopes they could still squeeze me in, but was told I had to rebook. So, I rebooked for the following day. Fast-forward to the following day, and it has been well over an hour since my booking time and I am still sitting in here waiting. It’s funny how they couldn’t squeeze me in the day before but expect me to squeeze and be flexible with them because of their inefficiency resulting in my appointment being well over an hour late. Shame.

Fantastic experience: I visited the dental clinic for a teeth cleaning procedure. The staff, including the receptionist, dentist, and their assistant, demonstrated professionalism and friendliness throughout the visit. They provided valuable advice on dental care, patiently answered my inquiries, and effectively cleaned my teeth without any complications.

Negative experience: garbage customer service. the south asian lady at reception was quite rude, she made a big deal of me never responding to them to confirm my appointment when they never even reached out via sms, call, or email in the first place, but were adamant that they did. once i showed them they didn’t they did not, the lady at reception switched up and was like ‘oh we must have called ur emergency contact’… well why are you contacting my emergency contact without contacting me first, about my own appointment lmao dental service ain’t good either, the dentist said i have a cavity on a certain tooth even after i asked how as i take good care of my teeth, so i went home and checked it for about 10 minutes and there’s literally nothing there.

Negative experience: The front desk receptionist is very rude. Like I own her a lot of money. And the Indian dentist is very rude too while acting like very bad attitude. My first visit was good and this time I think they have a lot of customers now so they become impatient and rude to customers. Very disappointed visit.

Negative experience: Cannot pronounce easy English names when they call to confirm appointments very frustrating! Secondly, guaranteed to try and reschedule the appointment, even when it's 5hrs before the appointment is due. Constant rescheduling is not how you run a business! Both the incorrect pronunciation of name and the rescheduling happened exactly the same last appointment. Deja vu Not happy!

Fantastic experience: I have Bupa Dental health Insurance so my first consultation was for free. Dr Bedi Swati undertook my restorative dental work and i was very pleased with her patient care as well as the before & after results. Dr Swati explained the process and was very reassuring regarding patient pain or discomfort. The gap payment was reasonable. Thank you Dr Swati and your dental nurse. The dental location is convenient and the reception was very welcoming & professional. Twelve months on after a few visits, I am still receiving good gentle, dental care from Dr Swati.

Negative experience: Today, I was there and Ms. Charlotte made it a bad day for me because she was very rude and impatient. As a customer, I was ignored four times by her while others who came after me were attended to. Unfortunately, even when her respectful and kind colleague was taking care of my work, she stopped her to make a phone call, which caused further delays in my service. Why should there be a difference between customers, and why was my time considered worthless?

Negative experience: I can't speak for the quality of the dentistry but on the few occasions that I have needed to deal with the reception staff with regard to my children, it has been a painful experience. Even a simple task such as making an appointment is an ordeal. Based on other reviews it would I'm not the only one who has found this to be the case.

Negative experience: Dentist was very good, no complaints about the dentist at all, however took 50 minutes to get us in to our appointment as she was running very late that day. The receptionists weren’t the nicest either, very cold and did not smile at all. They constantly told us “10 more minutes”, until 10 minutes turned into 50 minutes, making us late for another appointment we had that day. I understand that the dentist running late is not their fault, but being the face of this franchise, it would be nice if the receptionists could be bubblier and kinder to the patients.

Negative experience: Absolute worst dentist I've ever been to

Negative experience: Very disappointed today. They called me for a routine checkup only to be told my last checkup used up all the budget for the year and I need to come after January. I mean they didn’t know they have used the entire budget when I was checked in march when they made the appointment for October. Absolutely no regards for peoples time. What’s worse is they were saying I probably was in a lower tier benefit. I am on Silver plus ffs.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with my visit to Bupa Castle Hill. Took my boys in today for a clean and checkup and they did not even clean there teeth! The boys needed fillings but the dentist recommended I see a kids specialist because he isn’t good with kids ? Would have been nice to notify me of this before I went in! Because of this, we did not receive a proper service. I also had an appointment two weeks prior and was not very happy with that dentist hence why I booked a different dentist for the boys . Definitely won’t be back. What a waste of money!!

Negative experience: As a patient, I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to the dentist. During my dental scaling appointment, the dentist appeared to be in an extreme rush and seemed more concerned with watching the clock than with providing quality care. The entire appointment, including cleaning up and taking x-rays, was completed in just 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the dentist did not take the time to explain the purpose of the x-rays and other scans, leaving me feeling confused and frustrated. It was evident that the focus of the appointment was to exhaust my insurance limit, rather than providing the care that I needed. Overall, the entire experience felt like a big scam, and I am now considering changing my health cover to another provider. It is imperative that dentists take the time to explain procedures and results to their patients and provide quality care rather than rushing through appointments to meet their own agendas.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at BUPA Castle Hill for 3 years now and I have had nothing but the best service. The team are very intentional with their patients and it feels like a family practice. I could not recommend Dr Andrew Ho and his team more highly! The receptionists are all world class and their alignment with the doctors is exceptional!
