Fantastic experience: I have been going to So Dental since my early 20s and now I am retired! During the years I have been well looked after by Dr Samson So, Dr Julie Mok & Dr William Huang. They are all very lovely doctors, very caring, gentle & professional. The staffs are also amazing, the clinic is clean & bright with modern facilities, making you feel at ease & comfortable. My dental veneers done by Dr So decades ago are still looking very nice & lasting really well. And few years ago I had a dental implant with Dr William Huang, it was a super smooth procedure & no issues whatsoever afterwards, his professionalism & technical proficiency should be highly praised. I am extremely happy with the result I have to remind him on every half yearly checkups that the implant is feeling better than my own teeth! He is very gentle, kind & caring, gives you a thorough checkup & always takes time to clearly explain any dental issues that you may have. Highly recommended! You can’t go wrong with So Dental.

Fantastic experience: We been with Dr. Jamie for many years. He is very patience, takes time to explain every procedure and great with kids. Recently i just removed my last 2 wisdom teeth, he was so gentle and professional, i dont feels much during the process. The best part was the entire process takes shorter and easier than i thought and i had speedy recovery! Dental location very convenient with free 3 hours parking. There is cafe/grocery shopping available after dental visit. So Dental team are very polite and supportive, the front desk is always welcome us with great smile and friendly too!

Negative experience: I have been a long term patient of so dental but I will not be coming back after my last cleaning. The new dentist gave a rough cleaning and took 3 Xrays that were completely unnecessary without my consent. I was then surprised with a large gap payment I knew nothing about. It felt like over-treatment and has broken my trust. I have decided to find a new dental clinic. (For transparency, STC is not my full name.)

Fantastic experience: I had a procedure done on the back of my front teeth at another clinic, and afterward, I suffered from significant pain and gum inflammation for four months. Every time I bit down, I felt the pain. I visited several dentists trying to find a solution, but nothing worked, until I saw Dr Andrew Chu. Dr Chu carefully examined the area, found the real cause of the problem and fixed it. The relief was almost instant, and the inflammation disappeared within two days. He truly has magic hands and incredible technical skill. His treatment completely saved my life. Thank you so much Dr Andrew Chu!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to So Dental for 15+ years. I first saw Dr. So for a few years, and I have been seeing Dr. William Huang for several years now. Dr. Huang is very professional and explains things in a clear way. I have very sensitive teeth, and Dr. Huang ensures that I have minimal pain when my teeth are cleaned. I recently got a new crown, and I am happy with the result. Communication with the staff is very good, and the office is very clean. Everyone is friendly, and makes it a good experience to get my check up every 6 months.

Negative experience: Not what I expected! I went to SO Dental after googling for my regular checkup. The dentist said I needed several fillings and gum treatment which surprised me because I always look after my teeth and gums. He did the cleaning a bit rushed and did 2 fillings on the same day, which ended up costing a surprised $164 gap even though I was told there is no gap for a check and clean, I was also told to come back for more fillings and gum treatment. I decided to get a second opinion at another clinic and that dentist said my gums were healthy and no fillings were needed. Overall the experience at So dental left me unsure about their recommendations. I definitely suggest getting a second opinion before agreeing to any treatment.

When he discovered a more complex issue while fitting the crown, he scheduled another appointment, explained how to manage it in the meantime, and even offered me an extra check-up free of charge before the planned treatment. Fantastic experience: Our whole family goes to Dr Andrew for teeth cleaning every half year. He does the best job—very gentle and thorough. Previously, my husband was told at another place that he needed a root canal, but Dr Andrew carefully cleaned and filled his tooth, so my husband didn’t have to spend unnecessary money.

As someone with a mild case of dental phobia (emotional damage) from prior dental experiences as a younger adult, from my first visit - requiring a root canal - I felt genuinely taken care of to get my oral health back on track. I have been using many different dentists in the past but I can say that I finally found a dentist that I will be using for the rest of my life. Aaron took the time to explain to me how to protect my teeth for longer, things I should be avoiding and things I should be doing more of. Fantastic experience: I started to see Dr So in So Dental Lemon Grove since 2008 and now my whole family are with So Dental. Dr So is very experienced and professional. He is also very experienced at orthodontics procedures. Recently Dr So helped my two young kids to Implant-supported palate expander to widen their narrow upper jaw. The whole process was quite smooth and both my kids settled well after the procedures. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs this procedures. Dr Neo Kwan helps the routine check up and cleaning for our family and she is amazing! She is also very experienced with young children. So I would highly recommend her to any family with young children.

Fantastic experience: A beautiful , clean, and equipped with most advanced dental equipment clinic. Of course with the highly professionally skilled dentists. The main dentist I always go to is Dr. So and also any other dentists in the clinic. They are all very professional, patient and take good care of the patients.
