Fantastic experience: I have visited the clinic for a wisdom tooth extraction, and the experience was amazing. Dr Betty is a pleasant, cool and friendly doctor who has done the job in 10-15minutes. Also her team members are friendly and supportive. Post procedure instructions were clear and I have followed them in a proper way. After the extraction also I felt just a tolerable pain which was only for that day, from the next day pain was mild and was able to do my routine works. Thanks Betty for your kind and skilled service.

Fantastic experience: I was so unbelievably scared of the dentist after some really bad past experiences but Dr Betty has completely changed the way I feel and alleviated any fear I have about getting procedures - I have had a clean and filling with Betty and the entire time she has been so kind and forthcoming with both how much everything will cost as well as making me feel at ease every step of the way - asking I I need a break, explaining what she’s doing and even helping me when I was afraid of the numbing needle but the nurse holding my hand. I cannot recommend Betty enough.

Fantastic experience: I have attended North Carlton Dental group when I had tooth Pain recently, I was treated by Dr Betty, she is very professional and very skilled, she took necessary x-rays and identified the problem and explained to me the problem in detail and addressed the root cause. Negative experience: I went to see Dr. Betty and got an impression done for grinding of the tooth at night, which was made elsewhere and was posted direct to me from the lab. I used the splint for couple of months and started to notice my bite was not right. Then I went to another dentist and was told that my last tooth on both sides had dropped and had to grind them to get my bite right again which cost me permanent sensitivity. The problem was that the splint did not cover the last tooth on both sides which made those uncovered tooths to drop whilst I had been clinching when asleep.

Negative experience: I went here a year or so ago. Staff was lovely, was told I need (at least) three fillings after never having issues with my teeth. They did suggest I needed X-rays to confirm, but dentist seemed reasonably certain about fillings since they went through a very detailed quote. Quoted over 1000 dollars to fix issues. I doubted this and got a second opinion from two other reputable dentists. Both said my teeth were in perfect health and this dentist would have drilled perfectly good teeth. I got X-rays done, nothing was found, and dentist wasn’t even convinced that I needed X-rays as teeth looked fine just a little discoloured.

I have been seeing Dr Betty Zacharias for a number of years now and am always extremely satisfied by her service. I appreciate her honesty, professionalism, and her informative approach to dentistry. All my questions are always answered and all procedures (and the reason for them) clearly explained. I appreciate that Dr Zacharias is very transparent about what does or doesn't need to be done regarding my dental needs. The prices are also extremely reasonable - $130 for a clean, and a further reduced rate on standard cleans for students. Other regular services are also very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Professional and affordable dental clinic! I have visited few times and the dentists are very gentle and caring. No hidden costs at appointments. Dr Betty explained all the possible costs and treatment options before initiating the treatment. All the appointments went smoothly. I would definitely recommend to see Dr Betty if you want the gentle and affordable care.

Negative experience: I went for a 'comprehensive oral assessment' with Mrs Betty in 2021. During the assessment I was told I had 5-7 holes in my teeth and would need an x-ray to confirm how many and to book in fillings. I was very confused, I've never had holes before and it had been only a year since my last appointment (at a different dentist in Sydney). Mrs Betty confirmed again after seeing me visibly upset in the chair that I did have holes and reassured me they could be easily filled. Feeling not right, I went for a secondary consult at a different dentist. This dentist within 5 seconds of having my mouth open told me I had no holes. She said "any dentist would be able to tell there was no holes here from first glance." I felt unsure , so I requested and paid for an x-ray which confirmed I had no holes. I don't wish for you to reply with excuses, I am writing this review only to warn others. Dentist work is extremely expensive so it is really scary that such a business is in operation. - Update: the business has replied with a flat out lie, Mrs Betty never discussed discoloration with me, nor did my recent new dentist say anything of the sort. It's so disappointing that they've responded with more lies.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the most positive dental experience I’ve had so far. Like many of us, I dread going to the dentist. Dr Nishma Shah was so patient with me through my nervousness, and she really put me at ease with her caring manner. She was informative and considered in her advice regarding my particular tooth issue, and very upfront about costs both before and during my visit, so there was absolutely no bill shock at the end.
