Fantastic experience: I can’t praise the team at Dental Reflections enough. From the friendly yet professional front desk staff to the hygienist who provides the most thorough clean I’ve ever had (truly three times more detailed than chain clinics), every visit feels exceptional. The dentists somehow make an experience I usually dread almost enjoyable, and I love that I can also have my Botox treatments done here — leaving me looking and feeling refreshed. It’s a truly holistic experience that I encourage everyone to try. You walk in as an individual and leave feeling like part of their family.

My husband had a fear of dentists but after Dr Ina working her magic he does not feel worried anymore. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this dental practice on and off for about 10 years now, and I can honestly say it’s the best decision I’ve ever made for my dental care. After a really bad experience at another dentist years ago, I developed quite a bit of anxiety about dental appointments. But from the very first visit here, that fear started to disappear. Everyone at the practice is incredibly kind, gentle, and thorough. They never overcharge or push unnecessary treatments and they’re very conservative and only recommend what’s truly needed. That level of honesty and integrity really sets them apart. Recently, I had four veneers done, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Dr John Lam explained every step of the process in detail, making sure I understood what was happening and felt comfortable the whole way through. I genuinely felt cared for and safe in his hands. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted like family. The girls at the front desk (special shout out to Courtney who never forgets anything and is always so friendly) always welcome you by name, remember the little things about your life, and make you feel completely at ease. I recommend this dentist to absolutely everyone I know and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: We came to this dental practice after a friend highly recommended them. I'm a big baby when it comes to the dentist so this should really count as more than 5 star review. Dr Lam and his exceptional team are incredible, from the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a big smile and every single staff member is just so lovely. What started off with an ad hoc recommendation appointment for my son, now has our whole family here regularly. After all the years experiencing all different dental practices, you guys just do it different and exceptionally.

The procedures needing done was explained to me via photos & X-rays of my mouth so I was aware and completely understood before going ahead. All the staff have big friendly smiles and are so lovely! Fantastic experience: This dentist is second to none, truly awesome business. My family of 4 followed Dr John, who is a legend, from another practice to here. That is how good Dr John is, on meeting all the new staff they have just been great as well. Very professional, well priced but most of all knowledgeable and friendly in their approach to the job at hand. The highlight of the practice is no doubt Courtney and Donna with smiles, banter, chat and they are just so helpful on making your visit wonderful and a pleasurable expierence. Fantastic experience: I only started visiting this dental clinic at the start of the year, and I’ve been absolutely blown away by how personalised and welcoming the experience has been. From the very beginning, the team made me feel like family and worked with me to squeeze in emergency appointments around me flying in and out for work. I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr Lam on Friday, something I had been putting off for years and I couldn’t believe how smooth it all went. The entire procedure took just 45 minutes, and within a few hours I felt completely back to normal with no pain or complications. I genuinely couldn’t recommend this place more highly. If you’re looking for a dental team that truly cares and delivers amazing results, this is the one!

Fantastic experience: Our family of six have been regular patients at Dental Reflection and can highly recommend the great service and care. Donna and Courtney are always welcoming with their smiles and helpful with bookings and claims. Every dental hygienist has given a gentle and thorough cleaning. Dr. Ina Labuschagne is an amazing dentist who cares for her patients, does excellent dentistry work and has a wonderful way with children. Her recommendations for orthodontic treatment for two of our children have been great, and they have had successful results. I have received clear aligners for my teeth from Ina and am nearly done with the process, which has also been a good experience. Recently, Dr. John Lam removed our eldest's four wisdom teeth in the chair, and the surgery went very well. The anaesthetist and nurse services complemented Dental Reflection's customer values, and our daughter had an overall good experience recovering. Now our second daughter requires a wisdom teeth removal procedure too, and we will book this consultation soon, given our experiences at this practice.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely 10/10! Courtney worked her magic to squeeze me into John’s super busy schedule! After have excruciating tooth pain for nearly 2 weeks after getting a filling at a different dental practice I saw John and instantly knew I was in the best hands possible! John removed the issue tooth, and put my anxiety as ease! Hands down the best in the business. Cannot thank Courtney, John and the rest of the team enough!!

They are THAT marvellous that if I ever left the Joondalup area, I would travel to DR from wherever I was living. Fantastic experience: Chasing a dental practice who are great at what they do, as well as caring and supportive? Look no further. Our family of 3 has been going here for more than 12 years and have had the works - from hygiene appts right through to crowns, wisdom teeth removal and implants! After being let down on the day of an appointment by another surgery I walked into DENTAL REFLECTIONS and was greeted by a lovely receptionist Donna who went above and beyond to accommodate me and my anxious daughter ! Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Dental Reflections!! I had always had a fear of the dentist and for years endured the pain of surfacing wisdom teeth to avoid going to the dentist. It was after numerous recommendations I decided to bite the bullet (excuse the pun) and get them removed. After meeting Dr. Archie, Kendal the dental nurse and Alicia the receptionist, I walked out of my consultation feeling very comfortable. I went under general anaesthetic and Dr. Archie was wonderful and took great care of me. Dr Ina was there for my following check up and was just as gentle and lovely as everyone else I had met there. Fantastic experience: I wanted to thank you for the understanding of the fear issue of dentists and needles; this was born out of some less than satisfactory previous dental experiences at other locations. After three appointments with Dr Fernando Afonso I went from having heavy cold sweats to walking in and sitting down. I have had a range of works carried out from general cleaning, tooth fillings and including replacement of two full crowns to my two front teeth. The level of service, skill and final product delivery i.e my new two front teeth was simply outstanding; when added to the change in the way I approach the prospect of going to the dentist it is life changing. Fantastic experience: If you are looking for painless dentistry go see Fernando and his team at Dental Reflections they are fantastic! Broke my front tooth off on a Saturday afternoon, the horror, Monday morning after having X-rays Fernando started the process of an implant. I can honestly say I have had no pain, and everything has been so well explained to me along the way. If you are scared to go to the dentist but know you really need to I definitely recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Fernando and the staff made an unpleasant experience, pleasant. (Who likes going to the dentist?) They are very friendly and I'd recommend seeing them for all dental work.

Fantastic experience: Dr Afonso, Alicia and Michelle are simply the best. Dr Afonso took the time at the end of his day to explain to me about dental implants, giving me his HONEST PROFESSIONAL OPINION (and I am a nurse). This was my first visit and I wished I came across this practice sooner. Dr Afonso then referred me to another professional for a further assessment as he wanted to make sure my gums would support an implant (to me this is the sign of someone who genuinely wants the best result for his patients as anyone can say yes and take your money). I have now started to the process and will be back to Dr Afonso for my temporary crown in the future. Thank you so much. Please do not hesitate to go to this practice. (On a side note I had a poorly done root canal 20 years ago and this has resulted in on going cosmetic, infection and bone/tooth issues - I saw Dr Afonso in the hope of obtaining a better ''smile'' and to reduce bone loss).

Fantastic experience: Excellent, professional and top quality work from Fernando for my inlays. No idea how he does such intricate work, but the results are fantastic. He takes pride in doing perfect work and, as a nervous dental patient, I came away feeling I had been looked after by a very skilful and top quality dentist. Friendly and helpful staff, I was made to feel very at home in the surgery.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom teeth taken out at Dental Reflections a couple of weeks ago just under a local due to previous issues with a general anesthetic. I never thought a dentist could make me laugh while taking out my teeth, but Dr Archie and Michelle had me in giggles! Fantastic experience: Just had 2 teeth implants placed a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't be happier with how at ease the team at Dental Reflections made me feel throughout the process. It was pretty comforting finding out what I thought was a complicated procedure seem so straight forward. Fantastic experience: I hadn't sen a dentist for many many years-so of course my mouth was an embarrassing mess. I needed a dentist who could help me, but most importantly i did not need a dentist tp lecture and humiliate me! Dr. John and his entire staff made me feel so cared-for right from the start. It was difficult to forget past dental experiences,but i had so many problems with my mouth i was miserable and it was starting to effect my general health. Fantastic experience: If you're looking for a dental surgery that makes you feel welcome, safe and relaxed, you won't do better than this one. I have been a client / patient of Dr. Johns for at least 9 years now, and I followed him when he left his original employer to set up this practice in Joondalup. I've had a massive amount of dental work done over the years, and I feel so comfortable in his chair that I've often fallen asleep in the middle of root canals and other major surgery! Not sure how they do it, but you couldn't feel nervous if you tried. Certainly different to the dreaded dentists I remember as a kid! Although Dr John is the main man, he is backed up by a happy, vibrant, energetic team of helpers. They all seem to be best friends, and somehow make you forget you're actually at the dentist. It feels more like you've just dropped in for a chat. Even when "you" can't talk they keep you entertained! I don't think any good dental work comes cheap, but when I've compared notes with friends, I've discovered Dr John is also extremely competitive. They've got all the latest equipment and seem to keep up with all the modern ideas, all the way from reminder texts to the X-Ray Machines. To top all this off....... they're always on time! I can honestly say I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes past my appointment time. And I've been there ALOT! This is a really tough thing to maintain, but they somehow make it all happen, without rushing anyone at all. If you're looking for a good dentist, just drop by and have a look. Fantastic experience: John and his team at Dental Reflections are excellent and go above and beyond for their patients. The entire staff were friendly and welcoming and instantly make you feel at ease. This was my first visit to Dental Reflections and also the first time that I had never experienced any pain or discomfort while receiving fillings. John takes special care and is meticulous with his work. He takes photos of your teeth during treatment so you can actually see what he is doing. It was easy to make a booking with a follow up reminder text message. The reception staff was extremely helpful and welcomes you with a smile. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone seeking dental care from an excellent team of professionals.

Fantastic experience: 5 Star service from the team at Dental Reflections. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I was extremely well looked after. Lucia at reception couldn't be more helpful and was able to book me in over the phone and had a lovely smile and a cheerful personality when I arrived for my appointment, Michelle gave me plenty of great flossing advice and Archie put me at ease and is a true professional. A very well presented surgery and convenient location, plenty of buses, trains and parking is right out the front. It felt like everyone there was a close-knit family, so let this family look after your family.

Fantastic experience: The team at Dental Reflections are exceptionally awesome. Each and every staff member is so helpful and friendly. What sets them apart from everyone else is that they genuinely care for their patients and their needs. They are thorough, highly skilled and the quality of work is of the highest standard. They invest time in talking everyone through as well as educating about dental care but also talk through what they are doing. For the first time in my life I am actually relaxed in the dentist's chair. Upon entering their practice you can feel that everyone there enjoys the work they do. Great teamwork! Fantastic experience: For someone who had had a dislike of dentists for decades, this is the only place I would go, especially after a recent extraction, the staff were so good and rang me days after to check up on me and also sent prescriptions to my nearest pharmacy when my cavity got infected, as I worked 500km away. Great service, super friendly
