William is my dentist at Dent Essentials, and my experience so far has been nothing short of excellent. He is professional, highly experienced, and explains everything clearly, which really takes the fear out of visiting the dentist. He is kind, caring, and always manages to find an appointment for me. The clinic is spotless, the staff are very friendly, and I always feel comfortable when I come in. I’m about a quarter of the way through my braces journey, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I’m receiving.

Fantastic experience: When I was a kid the dentist would get his dental nurse to hold me down it was brutal, after a visit with this dental practice I no longer fear going to the dentist im very happy with the staff dentist to be continued.

Fantastic experience: I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed here a couple of weeks ago. I was extremely impressed by the service provided at Dent Essential, especially my experience with Dr Rafeh. Dr Rafeh explained from my X-Rays that my case was not going to be an easy one but continued to reassure me throughout the entire process. I felt calm the entire procedure and could not be happier with my experience and quality of work that was performed. I would highly recommend this place for all your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Having been a patient at Dentsessential for years, I can confidently say that the care I've received has been consistently top-notch – professional, honest, and meticulous. I was really taken aback by Malik's review. My family and friends also go to Dr. Rafeh, and we've never experienced anything but clear communication and a high level of professionalism from everyone there. It's a shame to see someone try to damage a clinic's reputation just because they didn't get the immediate outcome they wanted. When I had my wisdom teeth taken out at Dentsessential, the team was incredibly thorough. They made sure I understood everything and took all the necessary steps, like X-rays and a proper consultation, before even thinking about the procedure. Removing wisdom teeth is surgery that is not plain and simple. It’s not something to rush into. I’ve always been grateful that they put patient safety first, even if it means saying no for the right reasons. This review doesn't reflect my experience at all. In my opinion, this clinic always puts the patient's best interests first, even when it means making tough calls.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at Dentsessential for several years and have always received nothing but professional, honest, and thorough care. When I came across Malik's review I was shocked and stunned, many of my family and friends have Dr Rafeh as their dentist and never have I heard about anything being unprofessional and miscommunicated between them or the team. It's really unfortunate for someone to try and ruin someone's name just because they didn't get what they wanted. I also had my wisdom teeth removed here, and the team took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring all necessary precautions (like x-rays and proper consultation) were taken before moving forward with the procedure. This is a surgical operation, not something that should be rushed or done casually. I’ve always appreciated that they prioritise patient safety and don’t take unnecessary risks just to keep someone happy in the moment. It's unfortunate this review paints an unfair picture — based on my experience, this clinic has always acted in the best interest of their patients, even when that means saying “not yet” for the right reasons.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist

Negative experience: Called up and booked to have my wisdom tooth removed. Was told they would have enough time and to come in to get the procedure done. Took the day off work just to go in and be told they could not go ahead with the procedure. Very disappointed with the communication on their side. You shouldn’t be giving customers mixed signals saying they can do the operation and to come in, and then only have 15 minutes put aside for that customer.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant service from all the staff! As someone who is terribly nervous normally this was such a different experience. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by reception Tracy, she made sure I felt safe and comfortable and was able to explain the basics so I wasn’t freaking out before I went inside. Then Dr Rafeh was wonderful taking the time to explain everything before and while it was happening all the while his nurse Olga was there a gentle hand and kind word to reassure me that I was safe. Thank you !

Negative experience: I would give zero stars if possible. Before getting braces from Dr. William Rafeh, I recommend thorough research. My experience was terrible – my teeth were aligned before braces, but now I have a significant underbite. Instead of admitting their mistake and fixing it, they claimed it would cost more under a different plan.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been fortunate enough to be seen by Dr Rafeh and PJ. I am a complex case due to a a bone disorder and this is the first practise that didn’t use fear mongering or make me feel bad for things I can’t control. Instead I was given wonderful treatment, options that’s I was happy with and realistic professional advice. I found all the staff so friendly and kind. I’ve also now brought my daughter along who also had a wonderful experience. I honestly can’t recommend this practice enough. If you suffer dental anxiety etc, come and see Dr Rafeh or PJ. They and the team will put you right at ease.

Negative experience: Don’t be fooled by the 5 star review, it certainly hasn’t been my families experience! My daughter had a filling performed there just over 12 months ago. It cost over $400.00, and an abnormally swollen face. Because the filling didn’t last and came out just after 12 months, we got back in contact with Dentessential, only to be treated and spoken to like second class citizens! The receptionist was incredibly rude and out of line! We were told that they couldn’t guarantee a filling for longer than 12 months and it also should have been capped. In other words we were looking at another $400.00 or so, and how much were they going to charge us to do a cap? How could I forget, in Australia today moneys more important than people! My daughter had her tooth repaired with a different dentist, for half the price, and the dentist did not recommend capping!

This was my first time with her and she guided me with the correct course of action which was totally missed by the previous dentist I was visiting. Highly recommend her and her team for all your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend team at Dentessential, my family has been going to this practice for years and we are very happy with the professionalism of the team and excellent work done by the dentists at the surgery.

Negative experience: This dentist did not appear to listen well to what I wanted or needed. I wanted a consultation regarding orthodontic work and what would be best for my situation.He had a very brief look at x-rays and made no comment - despite there being wisdom teeth that should have been discussed. He didn't really explain the pros/cons of any course of treatment and didn't give much advice. In the beginning I mentioned another orthodontist said I had a receding gum and he wanted to have a look and touched my lip with bare hands which I thought was unprofessional and unhygienic. When I was told to lie on the dental chair so he could look at my teeth I was not given any pair of glasses despite the assistant coming in and increasing the brightness of the light. He took a lot of photos and said I have decay and cavities on a lot of my teeth which will need to be filled before any thing else and I have been to two other dentists, one specialist surgeon and one orthodontist in the space of a couple of months (in the period of this visit) and not one of the other four said I had any cavities. I was left unsatisfied, and felt I just donated money to a local business that day and would never go back. Glad other people have more positive experiences.
