Smile Team Orthodontics Fairy Meadow

Fantastic experience: We had an excellent experience with Smile Dental. I can highly recommend Smile to any parent seeking treatment for their children. My teenage son had a plate and braces. I was apprehensive at first but that quickly dissipated with the excellent care we received. All appointments were on time and at convenient times for the school day. The final appointment was much longer but the braces came off easily. My son is very happy with the result with overbite fully corrected and straight lovely teeth! Thank you especially to Dr Yasi and all the staff for your excellent care.

Fantastic experience: The staff were quite nice. The appointments were always on time and there were also many times to choose from which is helpful. The application of the braces was slightly painful, but that was expected. They were efficient with every appointment and the checkup appointment rarely took longer than 15 minutes. The final appointment was obviously longer than the others. Everything went smoothly with the removal and it was all enjoyable except for the mould making. It was slightly disgusting but it was understandably so. Overall, wonderful experience and definitely worth it!

Fantastic experience: My daughter was very nervous at first but the Smile Team was there for her by talking and explaining in great detail about the process and even though they would have to do it multiple times, they still did. They were very patient and took their time until she was comfortable.

Fantastic experience: The staff are always lovely and patient when I have three kids running around the place. My son had braces put on early this year and all the appointments are quick and easy, no long waits to see someone and we’ve always managed to get appointments when needed. Pricing was the best we could find and had payment options including discount for up front payment!

Negative experience: Great service however after doing extensive research prior to attending everything lead me to believe that I could use my health insurance card and pay the gap. NOPE!!! Smile team fairy meadow let me down today. No HICAPS machine to process health fund and expected me to pay in excess of $700. Had I have known this I would have deferred the appointment till having that much money in my account. Obviously had the gap payment ready to go. Even my health insurance when contacted last week advised I can use my card to do the claim straight away and today I get told that my health insurance should have advised me that no I can’t process the claim straight away and that I’d have to pay in full then claim the money back. Most places have this machine handy as most people rely on their health insurance these days. Not smile team fairy meadow. Overall a disappointing experience today and left quite upset and shocked.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been very happy with the team at Smile Team Orthodontics They are professional, thorough and always helpful with any question we have. We have just started our second orthodontic journey and so far so good. I wouldn’t think to go anywhere else but there. Highly recommend!

I was told by other practises that I wasn’t eligible for Invisalign because my teeth were so bad, but Dr Chan and the team were so amazing they managed to give me the smile I had always wanted and with Invisalign! I couldn’t recommend this team more highly, they’re super nice, helpful and genuinely care about giving you the best result possible.

The staff have been super friendly and knowledgeable, they assisted from beginning of the having Invisalign and what that would entail and if that was suitable for me. They provided me with various options and ways I could the smile I had wanted. Ultimately I chose the Invisalign treatment and had an overall great experience. I would recommend the smile team to anyone who is Interested in orthodontic work done and has been a great experience from start to end.

Negative experience: Had my braces here when I was in high school. My teeth have changed 10 years later so I went back for a consultation and asked if they could replace my permanent retainer because I can feel the metal on my gum and it's uncomfortable. Only for them to say nothing's wrong and they wouldn't replace the retainer. So I'm going else where for a better service.

Fantastic experience: We have had a fantastic experience with Smile Team at Fairy Meadow. All of the orthodontists and the dental staff were always very warm and friendly, and very helpful. My daughter had braces and a herbst appliance to help align her jaw. The results have been amazing, and well worth the money we spent. The staff were all very helpful and explained everything to us very thoroughly. I would recommend Smile Team to anyone who needs orthodontic services. Very happy with our time with them!

Fantastic experience: It has been quite a few years since I had my braces done at Smile Team Fairy Meadow and today I had to return to have my retainer checked and repaired. I honestly can’t thank the team enough. They got me in for an emergency appointment at short notice, they were welcoming and super efficient! My appointment was with Dr Peter Hoang who was so friendly, approachable and able to fix my retainer on the spot! Life saver! Peter took the time to explain to me the procedure to fix my retainer, so the whole time I was at ease and knew that I was in safe hands! Great service!

Fantastic experience: Just finished my Invisalign treatment with the Smile Team and I’m completely stunned with the results. Dr Emmanuel Chan and team were awesome, total perfectionists who are happy to listen to any concerns, and just super friendly. I did shop around with various other Invisalign providers before landing on these guys but I'm certainly glad I did. My friends who have tried other Invisalign providers definitely prove that you get what you pay for. 5 stars, killer job, thanks gang :-)

Positive experience: My treatment plan was only supposed to be 18months, however dragged on for 3 years. Staff service here are mediocre, l only continued my treatment here due to the local vicinity of the practice for convenience. Paid $8000+ upfront however l am not satisfied with the treatment provided or the result, do not expect your treatment to be any where within the timeframe they give you upon consultation, it will take significantly longer. I’ve had people who told me the same happened to them when they were hoping for their teeth to be aligned within the provided time.
