Negative experience: The staff were friendly and welcoming. However, their administration was abysmal. I was subjected to mixups and bad management. I made an appointment o line for a general check up and teeth clean. They rang me as I had to see the hygienist as well and I was able to reschedule the appointment from January to November, They rang me about being a new patient and had forms to fill in. Only I wasn’t a new patient, I’d been there once before at this point I checked I would be seeing a dentist at that time as well. I was reassured that was the case. I experience a problem with a tooth. I rang 2 days before my appointment and asked if I needed a different type of appointment because of this. No, I was reassured my existing appointment would cover that. The day of my appointment I received a phone call telling me I only had an appointment with the hygienist, not dentist! I couldn’t make another appointment that suited me until 8 days more. I wanted to get my bothersome tooth treated. I then made an appointment with a different dental practice. I won’t go there again.

Fantastic experience: Two extractions and three fillings later, I can let you know this is the best dentist this side of town. The staff here are professional yet warm and very open to listening to your questions or concerns about procedure etc. Dentist = 5 stars Dental assistants = 5 stars Hygienist = 5 stars Receptionist = 5 stars If youre getting work done here just relax. Its gonna be just fine in these guys' hands!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely cannot vouch harder for the team here, all the reception staff are so helpful and informative, the dental assistants are so nice and always walk around with a smile and the Doctors here specifically In my case Dr Erika is the best dentist I have ever experienced, also explains everything is such simple English so you never misunderstand anything. If you’re needing dental work done GET IT DONE HERE.

Morphett Vale Dental Care offered me a same day appointment and when I got there, had managed to reschedule things so they had time to thoroughly mend the problem. Negative experience: I enjoyed the dental service at this practice. Sadly; after my strokes 2 years ago. The administration officer has treated me poorly several times recently. She ignored me several times with relevant questions. I asked the same question and it was ignored. My support person was feeling uncomfortable for me. I was upset. Only after my support person paid the bill and I wasn't going away. She answered me flippantly. Was I ignored as I have a disability? My walker and brain injury doesn't mean I'm 'simple minded'. I had valid questions and have a working brain. I have degrees and post graduates. Just I use a walker which deemed me as a non person to her. After several years going there; I will go elsewhere who will treat me as a person. I am having the same treatments with same item numbers elsewhere, cheaper. As my self esteem will not be knocked down by an ignorant person. I am saving the price the difference to buy a washing machine now! Thankyou for research for local dentist practices! By the dentist, I wasn't allowed to have a whole script for antibiotics for dental work. I had to traipsed each week to the chemist for 4 tablets each time as I was unfit to have a full script. I was aghast by this treatment. My GP gives me full several scripts weekly. I have very rough fillings in my mouth that feel cold after drinking now after having 2 fillings. I never had that before. Hope that next dentist can fix that.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist in morphettvale better than s.a dental noarlunga they listen to you they are not butcher's on your teeth and most of all no waiting years upon years to get my smile back, morphettvale dentist have done more work within the week than s.a dental noarlunga has done in 10yrs

I chose Morphett Vale Dental Care and was so scared I cried on my 1st visit. Dr Erika made me feel calm and comfortable. I would recommend this clinic to anyone because they are so caring and gentle. Fantastic experience: The women at this practice are phenomenal. I have had fear of the dentist my entire life due to a traumatic experience as a four year old. I finally bit the bullet last month and went to see Karen the hygienist and she made me feel so comforted. Then I met Erika the dentist and she was wonderful also. Yesterday I had restorative work done and for the first time in my life I wasn’t nervous about going to the dentist. I was so relaxed the entire time. Erika has such a calming, relaxed and professional presence. She continually asked if I was ok through each process and I honestly can’t thank her and her team enough. They’ve changed my life in the sense where I no longer feel scared. I actually can’t wait to go back and have my routinely hygiene appointment. WHAT?!

Fantastic experience: First visit, I saw Dr Polly for an examination and x-rays and Dental Hygienist Steph for a scale and clean.Very impressed with the service. Parking at rear which is great and easy access. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.I would highly recommend. .

I felt safe and cared for. I must remember to ask for my toothbrush and sticker before I leave next time! Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a new dentist, I can’t recommend this one enough. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a dentist and as such I wasn’t very confident finding somewhere new. However the team here have been absolutely incredible. Kind and happy to explain the process, including prices and health fund contributions. Excellent dental facilities and a comfortable waiting room. I’ve seen they also have online booking options, which seems very convenient. Thank you to all the team today for making my first appointment in a long time an enjoyable one.

Negative experience: Gave me 2 fillings that i didnt need and charged to much for it when i booked another appointment they canceled 2 days before and back to the fillings bit that is going to make me go back every 7-10 years dont go there they will destroy your teeth i didnt need anything done with my teeth until i went there. a few months ago i went to a better one and they said my teeth were basically perfect

Negative experience: Totally discussed that they canceled my appointment because I couldn’t answer my phone while I was at work and assumed that I didn’t want my appointment. I rang later in the day and my appointment had been canceled and my appointment was for the next day at 1:00 . Very poor communication with client

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the so called customer service. Booked an appointment 6 months earlier and then a few weeks before my appointment they had to change my appointment, but I was unable to make the appointment on the day , so they charged me $50 for cancellation. But who changed it the first time ? Will not be returning or recommending this practice to anyone. The manager needs to understand the definition of customer service. During these difficult times maybe a little understanding and leniency go a long way . Poor service!!

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience at this Morphett Vale Dental Care today. I went in for a simple clean and ended up with $1,112 bill for front tooth adhesive restoration and restore incisal corner that I sincerely believe I didn't need at all. The work was done in less than 30 minutes and ended up paying a huge gap. I asked the receptionist what the gap was and she misled me by pointing to the lesser treatment cost on the quote. The other dentist I visited previously never recommended a filling for my front teeth. I rang to cancel and the receptionist talked me into going to the appointment without explaining the cost. If I was told the cost of the filling was expensive I would have cancelled this appointment. I have cancelled all future appointments and I will never be visiting Morphett Vale Dental Care again.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this dental surgery enough. Dr Erika is so lovely, knowledgeable and thorough. My first appointment was after avoiding the dentist for sometime and she could sense my nerves and immediately put me at ease. I didn’t really even feel the needle and the numbing didn’t feel as intense or last as long as I remember in the last which actually was a huge relief after my appointment. My most recent appointment was very thorough and Dr Erika asked me not only about my teeth but what the actual cause of things could be an encouraged me to be open so she can provide overall care. I was blown away by her service. Sam, the hygienist is amazing. So helpful with techniques and fixed a problem I’ve had for a couple of years that I didn’t know could be fixed. She also gave me lots of practical tips while chatting to me (not awkwardly - which is unusual for the dentist when there are utensils in your mouth). The practice itself is also beautiful. I’ve had an experience in the past where I was going to a dentist and they started renovating the practice and I noticed the prices going up and up and up. When I walked in the doors at MVDC I was a little nervous that the price would be exorbitant but it is actually very reasonable (I do have private health). I travel an hour to go there and I really can’t recommend them more highly. They’re a wonderful dental surgery who actually care and do their best to help you in a holistic way which I have NEVER encountered at a dentist before.

Fantastic experience: Over 12 months ago I came to Erica in extreme pain and full of anxiety. After years of bad experiences with dentists Erica was amazingly patient, kind and caring. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and at ease with everything she did. Would highly recommend Erica and her wonderful staff.

Fantastic experience: Went there yesterday with a decent chip to a front tooth. They had it fixed so fast i was amazed. Dr Rachael was very calming and personable and explained everything she was doing. If you have a bit of a fear of going to the dentist i would suggest trying this practice. They got me in really quick too.

Fantastic experience: I recently went to Morphett Vale Dental Care for a teeth whitening procedure. I have anxiety about going to the dentist after spending 15 years of my childhood at the dentist and orthodontist. I LOVED it. What an amazing, calm and happy experience this was. The staff were so attentive, professional, accommodating and just lovely. The music also helped! I couldn't recommend MVDC more! If only I could post the picture of me trying to smile in the chair with the mouth piece in - you too would be smiling
