Her energy, warmth, and confidence made the entire visit feel less like a dental appointment and more like catching up with friends. And Voia at the front desk? Not only was she efficient and lovely to deal with, but someone needs to get her on a runway absolutely stunning. If being a receptionist ever gets old, modelling agencies better be ready.

Negative experience: I went here for a checkup and was not satisfied by the service I received at all. My teeth are more uncomfortable now than before. A few of my concerns that were noted on the consultation sheet were not even addressed, I had to keep asking to get information. Staff were more concerned with talking amongst themselves and anyone walking past the consultation door then communicating to me what they were doing or what was going on. She was rough as guts during the consultation. I felt like a number that was rushed through. I now need to go see another dentist to look at my teeth once more. Will not be going here again - waste of money.

Negative experience: I recently received Invisalign lite from Dr Angker. I shopped around and found this dentist as they had a Groupon for Invisalign lite. Throughout my journey I felt frustrated because I felt that if I asked for treatments that I was entitled to I was putting dr Angker out from seeing other patients. I had done my research with invisalign and knew I was entitled to extra refinement retainers at the end of my initial set if I wanted to refine something and I wanted to refine my back molar which was getting food stuck in it which I mentioned at the start of treatment, and make my teeth just a tiny bit straighter with extra trays. If I was paying that much and could get a better result without paying more I wanted to, I’d been dreaming of getting Invisalign for years. I felt that instead of trying to get the best result for me Dr Angker was more concerned that I was taking up the chair for other clients. I felt like a nuisance for asking for extra trays as it was extra work for her for the same price. A couple of times my attachments came off during treatment. I’m frustrated because my metal bottom retainer wasn’t attached properly and it came off while I was flossing. I didn’t use excessive force or anything. I have had braces as a teen and a permanent metal retainer for 12 years before this one and it never came off. When this one came off after flossing, even though it wasn’t my fault, Dr Angker charged me $450 for a new metal retainer and a new plastic retainer to go over it. She said that if the plastic one had of broken it would be in warranty and if I didn’t pull the last bit off I wouldn’t have to pay. I had pulled the last bit of glue off (Because it was hanging off and only attached by one bit of glue and I couldn’t talk) so I removed it. I didn’t realise removing it his bit of glue would cost me $450 as I thought surely it wasn’t attached properly in the first place if it came of from gently flossing with super floss. She said because I removed it I had to pay. The whole experience was frustrating and expensive and I left most appointments disappointed and confused. I’m not a confrontational person but felt I had to be assertive throughout my treatment just to get the refinements and trays I was entitled to with the Invisalign lite package. The assistants are lovely, professional and helpful which is why I have given two stars. I think Dr Angker is great if you need dental work, but if you want Invisalign I would recommend just going to an orthodontist with more experience with Invisalign.

Fantastic experience: I originally went to Dental on Blackwood to take an elderly relative to get some urgent dental work done and although neither of us had been there before, an appointment was made promptly. From the first visit both the relative and myself were very impressed. My relative had to return on a number of occasions and each time the dental work done was top class. The location is convenient and the office and rooms are spotless with all the latest equipment. What really makes it special is the professionalism shown by Dr. Linny and the staff. Dr. Linny is an EXCELLENT dentist technically and she has a friendly caring attitude that makes people feel relaxed. Same goes for the rest of the team. Since that first visit, I myself have had work done and will now be using Dental On Blackwood as my dentist from now on. Most everybody doesn't particularly like visits to a dentist, but Dental On Blackwood makes a person feel at ease and trusting for all of the above reasons. The first time I went in when we moved to Mitchelton almost two years ago, I was so anxious and I needed my whole mouth numbed due to sensitivity for a regular check up, scale and clean. Now I don't need anything and aside from a few little spots that are a tiny bit sensitive, the whole process is pain free, and I don't get anxious about my dental appointments at all anymore! I feel so lucky that Linny and her whole team are my local dentists, but I'd happily drive across town if she wasn't, she is so good.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. All dentists I have been to in the past have seen me walking out the door with pain from sensitive teeth and bleeding gums. I was surprised to have no pain for my clean and check up when I went to Dental On Blackwood. Fantastic experience: I went through a traumatic experience with another dental service which ended in a wisdom tooth needing to be extracted, I had bone exposed from my gum that would not heal and it was painful. I reluctantly called dental on Blackwood who fit me in the next morning and fixed the problem, one of the nurses assisted in making me feel calm whilst the Dentist informed me of what she was doing every step of the way. The dentist called me the next day to see if I was alright......The staff are friendly and professional and care for their patients and they are not overly expensive. I would highly recommend Dental on Blackwood to everyone.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist I've been to. Dr Linny is amazing! When I filled out the rating for how nervous I am about the dentist, the rating goes to 10. I rate about a 20 - the first time I went to Dental on Blackwood, it was because a filling had fallen out and half my tooth was missing. Not only did Dr Linny sacrifice her lunch hour to see me straight away, herself and her staff were understanding and supportive while I cried my eyes out in fear as she fixed it. Not only have I been back twice since then, I don't fall apart. I have another appointment and I'm excited about having a confident smile for the first time in decades.
