Negative experience: The dentist I saw was so arrogant , very condescending , spoke to me like he was my boss or father I have been twice , my front teeth cracked , fixed three times I came back to ask why and I was told to book an hour plus appointment to discuss my teeth Never in my life has a dentist asked to have an over hour appointment. To discuss my teeth Why in the previous visit could he not assess My tooth needs ???

Fantastic experience: Brilliant new practice with a welcoming staff, I recently visited Dr. Luke Newman for a check, clean and was found to have a few teeth needing attention, Dr. Luke Newman was able to give me a concise plan forward and gave me multiple options to be more affordable especially coming up to Christmas time. He gave my partner plans A,B and C to choose from depending on your financial situation and what level of importance you place on aesthetics. Highly recommend for a very comprehensive dentist. Fantastic experience: I have some serious teeth problems i only have 14 leaft since visiting more than 3 times for extractions, hes managed to make a plan as i have 3 more teeth to come out and 5 more fillings to go before i can see a autherdontest, Dr luke a been seeing me and hands down would have to be the most politest dentist , and gental dentist ive meet, there is another dentist there but i request, ive been lucky to so degree i have had goverment support i now have chosen to leave the gov voucher and get dentures metal ones, Not only are the front deck girl nurses to i beliveve they make you feel like part of the family i would hesrtate to refer this practice to anyone, i have no reason to lie cos you can come see for yoursself. Negative experience: I visited Noosa Hinterland Dental in Pomona twice and had two teeth removed as part of a larger treatment plan. After receiving my treatment quote, I asked for a copy of my dental examination so I could compare costs with other clinics. This request was refused, and I was told it was because I had not paid for the exam. I also asked for the required documentation to apply for early release of my superannuation for dental treatment. This was again refused unless I paid an additional $400, which I believe was unnecessary since I had already been given a treatment plan and quote. In my experience, Dr. Luc seemed more concerned with financial gain than patient wellbeing. Please be cautious and compare other dental clinics before starting any major treatment. I hope this helps others make informed decisions.

From the smile and friendly welcome from Shelby on reception to Hamish shaking my hand 5 minutes before my appointment time and leading me to his surgery. Entering the surgery I’m introduce to Rhianna. Young, but incredibly professional and attentive. She was at the highest level. They were together “The Dream Team”. I had chipped my crown on my front tooth. I was walked through various options and left with the perfect temporary crown and I will return to get a porcelain crown in a couple of weeks. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr Luke for a number years and followed him up to Pomona when he moved there. It is worth the drive from the coast. He is the best dentist I have ever seen. I previously had great anxiety for dental visits due to some really bad experiences but from the first visit Luke set me at ease and even though I needed quite extensive work initially he is so gentle I have never had any pain from any procedure and have been really happy with the results. The whole team at the Pomona clinic are wonderful.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished extensive treatment at The Noosa Hinterland Dental clinic in Pomona carried out expertly by Luke. It included numerous fillings and three crowns. All of this was necessary because of years of neglect by myself due to a natural reluctance to go to the dentist. I will never neglect my teeth again after experiencing the painless and trouble free treatment given me by Luke and his team, all of this while listening to some great music and watching a documentary of choice on a screen attached to the ceiling. What more can you wish for. I cannot recommend him highly enough! His care and attention to detail are second to none. Five stars plus to Noosa Hinterland Dental Clinic and staff.

Positive experience: Very polite staff and lovely brand new equipment. It's good to see Pomona now has a new dentist. My teeth repairs came to $4,800, as a lot of work suddenly now needs to be done, 3 years ago my teeth were perfect, now this dentist is telling me i require lots of work, I am not sure about this. I will get a second opinion of what work is required and the costs, as I do not want unnecessary work done. Hint - Don't wear your prescription glasses when your teeth are being cleaned. That's a no no, please take them off to protect the lenses from the powerful cleaning compound used on your teeth. Very helpful staff and explained everything in plain English, very up front and hopefully honest. My second opinion will show up his honesty, as my teeth were 3 years ago.
